Always very interesting exhibitions. Last one we attended was the Biennale. Many different artists and I like the quotes they put up on the walls.

Modern and minimalistic Gallery in the center of Moscow.

I went with my students on a school trip, the Lucio Fontana exhibition was great and I loved the youth exhibition on the 1st floor. Something for everyone!

THE MOST EXPENSIVE MUSEUM I HAVE EVER BEEN (History of a cheat)For 500 RUB (about 7 eurosyou can see barely 50 photographies only. Seven floors and only two used with poor exhibitions. If you can avoid it and throw your money to the Patriarch Ponds, it will be more satisfactory.

One of the greatest museums of Moscow

House of Photography is super! Nice modern building in a historic location. Metro is nearby. They have plenty of space to hold several quite extensive exhibitions. Often time authors are present at the openings and Sviblova, who is managing this venue, introduces them in person. Atmosphere is open and light. Staff is friendly. Elevator is available for people not able or willing to go all the way up. Excellent space, well managed.

Been a few times, highly recommend as they often offer some great events.

Good variety of exhibitions on show. Photos from 1930 Uruguay World Cup, as well as late 1800s Japan were great.

Not my thing. Boring.. predominantly black and white photographs. Mildly interesting: Pirelli calendar exhibition on top floor, and Prague watercolors on ground floor.

One of Moscows world class museums. I think its even better than Maison Européenne de la Photographie of Paris and Berlins Museum für Fotographie.

Nice modern place. They have own huge collection of Russian photographer and artist Rodchenko and often make an exhibition. But also made very interesting temporary expositions.Tip: now you can buy 2 tickets for price as 1 if you pay by Master card.

As someone who loves to hate modern art, this place does not disappoint. Awful simplistic non thought provoking, trite and empty even though I was here on free 3rd Sunday. Gagarins actual capsule is in the lobby - the juxtaposition is delightful.
