Not as it looks on TV ad, we went for Sunday lunch, not a big choice on menu, but meal was lovely, great prices, very friendly helpful staff..... I would return

Attending an event here where people of all ages and abilities knew one another in congratulations to one another as volunteers for Meals on Wheels - Latrobe City Council.Surroundings perfect for such an event and food choices sumptuous.Excellent customer service from staff appreciated thanks.

Great spot for a cold beverage

First time at the Morwell club for a meal well it was well worth the trip to met up with friends and they haven’t been there either. Ordered 6 meals and to our amazement the meals were 100% beautiful presentation was brilliant, staff were friendly and attentive. Thanks to everyone in Bistro .

Waited an hour for our meal like most people and only had part of the menu, wont eat there again

The steak was uneatable. Full of fat, gristle and over cooked. Management refuses to address the issue.

Went for work not food

i was aware that, as the locals put it, this pokie venue is renowned for taking a lot more than they like to give, a lot, LOT more. however, as i was in the street today for lunch i thought i would see if they are as bad as what everyone says.i take back any and every thought i had that the MANY vocal patrons may have exaggerated even in the slightest.in less than half an hour, and over 10 machines, not even playing with large wagers, just minimum bet with all lines, i did not get 1 feature, and through the better part of 1200 dollars, i could count the actual winning spins i had on 1 hand.on a plus side though for the venue, the staff were rude, unattentive and when you did get there attention to request a very costly soft, they made you feel like you had just murdered their only remaining family member. the lipstick mark on my apparently clean glass did however provide some sort of appreciation for my visit which judging by the attendance numbers for the time i was in there and glimpsing their flailing balances, my donation would have the salaries of those pleasant creatures covered for the next 2 decades (should award for talent be recognised).in summary, my review of this place can be figuritively illustrated by stipulating if my wake was to be held there, id give myself cpr until i had enough life left in me to run out of the building, sign a waiver that under no circumstance is my body to ever be taken back inside that premises and then run onto the street in front of a B Double.

The Helen Street Morwell bowls club is absolutely great. Great company. Well run events.

Updated carpet & painting. Emphasises parmas little bit limited on other choices. Reasonable prices but no wine menu supplied.

Not a bad feed tonight .... Usually go for the beef Parma , but tonight had the rissoles in gravy ....

Had Aussie chicken schnitzel. Cost was an amazing $15.00.It was a beautiful meal, couldnt fault it.Staff very friendly.

Service was a bit hit and miss, private function for XMAS, being Santa , I requested my meal early and was informed they would come and do the orders in the room, they had to be asked to do the orders a few times, when taking the orders they took mine last but said they would put a rush on it, first orders were so already hitting the table. Gave up placing the order as I did not need anyone bumped because they were going to take my order last even though I informed them what was happening, Just not good enough is all I can say. Premises was great , meals were of a good quality for those who managed to order. SANTA WENT OFF JUST AS EXPECTED IF NOT A BIT HUNGRY BY THE FINISH, luck for McDonalds, such a pity to have to do that

My brother convinced us to visit for a meal & to indulge in the Friday raffles 😂 This is a vibrant club & definately popular during the raffle draws! The bistro offers classic family meals & we enjoyed good ole fish & chips! My brother cleaned up & went home with vouchers for meat trays, deli choices and a handful of meal vouchers! Not bad 😅

Fabulous club staff alway very happy to see to your evry need, we have attended many shows for Country Artists and they lay on everything they can to make it a great event.. Plus the bistro serves amazing meals for a fabulous price suitable to every pocket

Great place for good old fashioned meals

"Chef Julies" bistro recognises Julies long association with Morwell Club. Not dining here for a around 10-12 years, thought wed give it a go. Not much has changed, you still get free soup & bread which obviously is the draw card to the seniors. Having to return a lemon chicken dish that was just warm & served with a watery rice recalled memories of our previous dining experience. I recall that the local RSL had a similar long term tenant & once a change in kitchen crew occurred a new culinary experience evolved.

Wasted $75 in Sunday night for tea. The buffet food had no taste, very disappointing. Wont make that mistake again

I love this place! The food is always excellent, the staff friendly as are the Club members. Ive tried many of their meals and have always been pleasantly surprised! Id eat here any day of the week!

Went there for all you can eat on Saturday night. All the food was delicious and full of flavor. The waite staff were very pleasent and well mannered, had a great night.

Delicious range of food in the dinner buffet, and great desserts too.

Normally l love my visits to the Morwell Club, but our roast Lamb Roasts were tough and had been re- heated.

Good venue for events. Very helpful staff and management. Well located.

Very nice smorgasbord on Saturday nights...clean and friendly staff also bingo a few nights a week and pokies if interested
