Morton Park - Shopping Centre in Redcar, United Kingdom
Get very busy service not so good food usually cold
Went shopping here and then visited the Café here. Shelves were well stocked and reasonable choice. Cafè seems disorganised since self service drinks section has been changed to staffed. Poor staff were working hard but seemed to be having to attempt too many tasks at once to be able to serve / help customers. For example the person on the hot drinks section kept having to go and get cups etc from the kitchen to enable her to keep serving. All the knives were in the dishwasher is another example. Orders were taking up to 30mins to fulfill, which given the Café was about 1/2 full was worrying. Food was ok when it arrived but not as good as previously.
Plenty of parking. Its the usual well stocked Morrisons store
Easy parking, two great stores - usually go there for the B&Q, but quite often end up in Morrisons. The latter has an excellent range of goods, but very temperamental automatic tills.....
Ots a great Morrisons loads of parking very large store with cafe toilets etc
Good selection of produce including a market street selling fish , pies, bread and meat selection.
Good choice for families, couples, and singles, prices have gone up on alot of goods, but you can still buy good value on all sorts of things.
Cracking brick sculpture of Mallard. The brown tourist signs are not great. This sculpture is hidden away at the back end of Morton Business Park behind Morrisons. There is free parking! It is well tucked away though. Come on Darlington Tourism, get the signage sorted out.
Visited Morrisons, which is bigger than my local one and has more choice.
Been there since I was a nipper. pie shop is always a winner for me 😊
Found indoor plants not available in B&Q
Great place to shop ample free parking
Loads of different shops to choose from. A pub and garage on site.
I was disappointed to receive a parking ticket after I moved my car within the 2 free hour period. I moved out of the main car park to the Costa coffee on the way out of the services. It cost me a fine of £60 which was extremely annoying.
Not really a great deal here. Morrisons, B&Q and McDonalds. Usually there for McDonalds. Love Morrisons pack of 15 cookies and their 2 for range of cookies but find them a bit expensive these days. Usually all I buy unless theres offers on spirits but not somewhere I can really afford to shop.
Excellent shopping experience. Great choice of food and beers.
Great shops well set out if you can not get it here you do not need it
The morrisons pharmacy the staff are quite rude!!!
First time there, impressed. Good layout and plenty of parking. Everything looked nice and clean. Took look in Morrisons and used WC, clean and tidy. I also went for a light lunch in Dunelms cafe, nice but small. Meeting someone there, not my sort of place, more for the women Id say but cant fault it.
The very best dayz out ever for the whole family
Cant fault the supermarket but getting to it from car park in a nightmare as all the crossings are in the wrong place
Two weeks ago my wife got stuck in the disabled toilet, a security man got the door open. We were there again today and NO Toilet still out of order. DISGUSTING
Good place to get your shopping and DIY supplies from here, also get fuel or food from MC Ds. There is a b and q, Morrisons and other wee stores with the centre, like card shop
A good selection of shops for an out of town centre
Visited on Sunday morning and I was very disappointed with the availability of a lot of items....no Brocoli, Cauliflower even the milk Isle was totally empty. Also, the price of beers has gone from 3 for £19.99 to 2 for nearly £20.Wine was 3 for £15 but now 2 for £11.My Morrisons shop has halved in the last few months for obvious reasons.
A very good place to shop, with a variety of shops to spend your money in.
Pleasant staff, wide aisles, nothing to much trouble
I love the Morrisons here for the Salad, you can get pretty much everything you need and the other stores/restaurants are great we had a good time at the beef eater staff where amazing then grab some drinks for getting home to enjoy a night of movies.
Good produce but not stocked up enoy
Beefeater pub . Food was miserable and over priced. Some Staff were friendly enough
Morrisons cafe did a nice breakfast and B&Q had everything we needed.
Love the shop never been a y issues over the years to be fair
The brick train statue a couple of minutes walk from the Morrisons supermarket is a reason, beyond shopping, to visit Morton Park.
Food was very good and tasty. Good family atmosphere. Its now on our list of Go to places.
Great bandq with good range of DIY and plants and pleasant helpful staff. Good prices as always.
Large retail park with plenty of parking. Nice road links with the A1 approximately 10 minutes away
Morrisons is always well stocked and has everything you need for your weekly shop. And having McDs and a petrol station is a bonus
My favourite supermarket, in Darlington. Always has what I need bare baby milk which I think seems to be an issue in Darlington as I cant seem to get it from sainsburys not too far from morrisons. Loads of generous disabled and parent and child, and even has a morrisons petrol station though I cant say its cheap, but hey where is cheap at the moment. Ive not tried the cafe but maybe in the future I will, it always smells good.
Along all of the supermarkets we have been to (and weve been to a lot), this branch is by far the best one that we have ever been to, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the stock is vast.
Didnt use shops there, only called at a very busy petrol station to get fuel for a loan car from nearby garage. Petrol station really busy, but efficient, pumps seemed pay by card at pump only, easy to read and follow instructions so queues came and went quickly
Arguably better place than the town centre which I would say is slowly dying, especially the indoor Market.Large Morrisons and B&Q on site with plenty of parking although I personally hate the mini roundabout between Morrisons and McDonalds, bushes obstruct the view.Other stores are on site too and further down the road you got The Range, Currys, Home Bargains and more, its a solid look out and can usually get what you need between both sites.
plenty of parking handy to access morrisons b and q mcdonqalds and also morrisons garage there are other independant shops in the morrisons mall part. there isa also access to bmi woodlands hospital so all in all nice clean place with plenty of parking and easy access
Love Morrisons here. Cafe is the best Morrisons one around here, staff are really helpful, always have a good variety of stock and they do food bags for the food bank which is well supported. Its done in such a way that even if your bag is a couple of quid youre still donating, love the way its done.Only down side is the sarni bay is outside the gates, I never remember to pick up my buttie on the way in!
I love shopping here they always have a full range of products that the smaller Morrisons dont stock, and the card factory have more variety than the shop in Darlington town
Fabulous place to stay always stay here when we come to see granddaughter lovely clean rooms and very friendly staff only downfall this time was evening meal had chicken and ribs which comes with chips and coleslaw chips were slop cold yes they did fetch me some more out and chicken over cooked but apart from that was okay normally food is fantastic breakfast was great fantastic choice of food and piping hot and staff very friendly
Large shopping centre with cafe and excellent produce, maybe not the cheapest out of all the supermarkets but I like it, plus you have the added advantage that B&Q is right next door.
Accommodation was as usual in a Premier Inn Superb.Bar and reception staff where great but the breakfast staff let the hotel down.I turned up for my breakfast and was taken to a table where a young girl asked me if I would like to order my cooked breakfast and I said give me 5 minutes and she never came back.40minutes later I asked a guy with a shirt and tie on( obviously the managerif I could order my breakfast who the proceeded to grill me and asked me if I had prepaid and what room I was in obviously I looked like I was trying to get a freebie so not a good start to my dayPlease try harder.
Masks were still worn by staff & shoppers alike, felt safe. Also we went to the cafe & the chap behind the counter was very friendly & polite.
Went in to get a snack and a magazine from the section at the entrance to the store, no member of staff anywhere! Weird. May have been due to an England game due to start but seeing no staff I ended up leaving my stuff and walking out hungry and empty handed. The 2 stars is for the large car park.
Went to Morrisons for a weekly shop, the store has plenty to choose from and has many special offers. The cafe is a welcome stop off for a nice cuppa and a bite to eat. There are also a couple of other shops to peruse.
