Morrisons Cafe in Witham

This is a good place, the staff are kind and helpful, it’s clean and tidy, I often do my larger shops here.

Needs more staff very poor service.

1.15pm Saturday 15th Oct 22All cafr staff were friendly, inviting, polite and very helpful. Food was cooked to perfection.Tables were clean.I genuinely couldnt of asked for more.

Coffee machine broken which was a bummer, but the new member of staff was so helpful and friendly and really went above and beyond to make our visit good, even went and got us coffee from somewhere else! Excellent service

We had two breakfasts today with tea at £20 . Price steep considered the bacon was cold as well as the beans, two small button mushrooms , hash browns very oily.two stars for the staff as they were very nice, but will not be back with the increase in price and decline in quality. Can get a proper farm produce breakfast elsewhere at that cost . Shame.

love there food amazing deals. the wait can be long but worth it. think drink prices could be cheaper.

If Ive drunk my latte by the time my brekkie turns up Ive been waiting too long. Food was nice, staff are friendly just too much waiting. Also, having the cashier then come to make the drinks is daft.

50% of the menu is not available, takes forever to get toast. Taste not too bad hence the extra star.Get this, kitchen can’t make scrambled egg due to no ingredients, but fried egg is okay. What exactly did they not have?

I got a bad experience when I ordered supper at till. The staff was unfriendly and shout at other customers. Never go there again

Shopping better now you dont have to dodge all the food being stored on the shop floor still in the crates waiting to be put on shelves first thing in the morning.

45 minute wait for a cheese toastie…. Cafe not even half full, appalling service

Called in today to shop and lunch at cafe.xmas lunch displayed on big board but when I asked for two Xmas lunches was told they had no turkey,Why for goodness sake was the menu board not removed or covered up.long queue kept waiting why I had to choose something else.Very disappointing especially at 1pm

Great breakfast deal on at the moment which definitely makes it worth a visit.

Very strict woman who thought she was in charge when she wasnt, did everything as we are told but still get told that I didnt do the track and trace to which I did. Customer service needs to improve

Very poor customer service. Member od staff watched us debate menu choices for sometime then when we got our drinks and placed our order she said they only have fish or scampi and nothing else. Was rude , spoke abruptly to my daughter and couldnt care less. Mugs were disgustingly dirty. Left without ordering as one of us was a vegetarian so had no options. Complained to store manager who apologised. Not a good experience and will not be returning.

Let us queue only to tell us they werent serving food because they had ran out of stock, even though they were still cooling meals. Miserable staff. Most unhelpful. Certainly not like our one at home in Nottingham. Will NOT be visiting again when in the area, which is a regular occasion.

Had to wait 15 minutes for my meal to come. Not bad at all. Then had to wait another 20 mins for one of the children’s meals to come. When I asked staff why we had to wait so long for the last meal they where rude and not helpful at all.

Had to wait for 45 minutes for breakfast and when it did turn up, the toast was missing, as for the food, well for a shop full of nice things to eat they must pick the really extra extra value stuff as it was bad, could not drink the tea or eat the beans/fried bread or tomato, when I complained they said sorry theyre short staffed, but it looked well staffed to me.

Bit to long of a wait food came old cold, chips somehow dry, its a place for OAP to eat I ordered sausage chips and beans, but they gave me a breakfast, I got asked if it was ok but after the wait and I had to leave soon.I assume I got a breakfast that no one claimed.

Terrible service. Waited so long I ended up going across the road, just wasnt enough staff. Not a good first impression

Service was okay but food was absolutely awful. Bacon was off, it was grey and slimy I dont know how someone could even have served it. The yolk in my fried egg was completely solid, toast was burnt, the other order we had was eggs Benedict and the sauce was so thick and the state of the eggs were atrocious, hardly able to be called a poached egg. Ruined my appetite and its unlikely Ill come back for food ever.

The ladies and gentlemen at Witham go all out to provide good quality meals at a reasonable price . Brilliant ! Thats why its always busy !

Brilliant, we have brunch every Sunday, and coffee in the week. Would like to praise a young waiter, dark, tall, slim with glasses. He s a diamond, were pensioners and hes so cheerful and helpful. We hope that Calem(a young waiter on tables in Morrisonsgets praise from his bosses, he a joy to be served by, a nice bright smile on a Sunday morning.

An ideal opportunity to showcase ( by serving Morrisons Cumberland sausages instead of their savers brand which are awful! A missed opportunity to promote the finest supermarket brand of Cumberland sausages on the market! As for the staff, they couldnt be more friendly or efficient, bless them.

An ok cafe, breakfast was on the small side. Had bigger and better fried breakfast elsewhere.

Arrived at 5.40pm for a dinner with my children to be told that they had stopped cooking food because only one member of staff was on - very disappointed:(

Liked the food, but 20mins seemed an excessive wait for a bacon sandwich, although I was assured this wasnt normal. Ill See on my next visit

Didnt have any burgers left, fish and chips or tomato sauce. Took ages to get to the till and then took nearly as long to order the food when you get there. Food took a good while as well.I wont bother again. We was going to make it a regular Sunday thing, but I think Ill stick Tesco grocery delivery.

Reasonably priced food, good menu catering for all. The only problem that I found on the day was only one coffee machine was working so there was a bit of a wait.

The food is essentially like most supermarket cafe food. That said, their corned beef pasties are pretty darn tasty if they have them. You just need to ensure you get a seat away from the lardarse Witham Belles who frequent the place and gorge on chips and cream cakes.

Popped in for coffee. Staff ok and place is much better since the refit.

Lovely friendly staff, nice wide range of food from breakfasts all the way through to dinner. Nice food at a good price.

Great food, lovely service from cashier but the whole experience gets ruined by a loud mouth supervisor or manager who screams like a bloody banshee about everything.
