Sub pair beer. Worse service, worth visiting literally any other establishment.

Revisited after 1-2 years, the place has a new "hip" vibe to it which Im not sure how to feel about.

I remember this place being somewhat nicer years back. Beer quality and food quality are poor enough that I wont return again. Place smells like old stale skunky beer and very unkempt. Service quality way down.

MBC is my go to place in Morgantown. Food is great and inexpensive. They have the best fries, and burger ingredients always taste fresh. Plus FANTASTIC SOUR BEERS 😋😍 love you MBC

Hi My daughter moved to Morgantown around 3 years ago, We come down as much as we can to see her. I remember the first time she took us here, I love it, I’m not a person who likes to eat out, we had the most wonderful drinks with our meals.now every time we come down we go to your restaurant. I’ve noticed that you do drinks after famous people love that. Was just talking to my daughter there and I just love Olivia Newton John… If maybe you could do something to honor her good girl side/ Bad girl side. Maybe call it Xanadu or Grease Lightning. Just a thought. Thank you for always making my visit there Awesome

Had a good visit here. The hefeweisen was amazing, as was the Texas burger. The chili on it was amazing. Wasnt a fan of the chicken wings however.

Great selection of beers and the mac and cheese of the week was DELICIOUS!

What I like most about it here is that you can take a seat at the bar, in the dining area, outside on the deck, or downstairs Im the lounge area depending on your preference. Their beer selection provides everyone with something they like and the food is pretty good as well. Really enjoy stopping in when Im in the area for a pint.

Beers were good, but staff did not seem to really want our business. We left pretty quickly after the first round.

Unfortunately this former pillar of Morgantowns dining history has lost many of its charms since the start of the Covid pandemic. While for many years it served a good variety of flavorful craft beers, tried & true pub fare & a handful of other dinner items before transitioning to a more tex-mex menu pre-Covid, their current strategy seems to be struggling. On our most recent visit the (Summerbeer selection was far more limited, featuring almost exclusively several uniquely local variations of sour ale, & an unfortunately bland lager & porter. The menu has been severely scaled back to a choice of build your own or specialty burger & a few side items, & the service approach seems poorly managed. Upon entering, orders are placed & paid ahead at the counter, & you are given a table identifier to bring to your chosen seat. Your food & drinks are then supposed to be served, but the servers must then wander to find your self chosen location. Our would-be server walked past our table with our meals despite the visible identifier & proceeded to drop part of our dinner ten feet past our table, & after later bringing out the remade order, the same individual provided a generic apology for our wait as if from the restaurant & stated that our food "got dropped" without taking personal accountability despite us having seen it happen.The food itself remains flavorful so long as you dont mind the more limited selection, but you should probably check the current food & beer menus to see if the available choices are suitable.Heres to hoping they can right the ship by improving service organization & bringing back the meaningful variety of flavorful brews that have always been the Brewing Companys backbone, but sadly this is not that moment.

Building is somewhat difficult to find. Wanted to get a flight and they were having a festival downstairs that was a joke, it was vender selling beads and paintings. Even the bar tender couldn’t keep a straight face when tell me about it. Such a joke, don’t waste your time!

Stopped here with my family on a road trip and everyone enjoyed it. Outside seating area was nice. Counter service worked well and they brought food out quickly. Everyone thought their food was good but burgers were the best. All three beers we tried were tasty.

This is a restaurant that has continued to amaze me. Everytime I go back there is something else amazing to try. Burgers, wings, fries, beer and mixed drinks. All are at the top of their game. And bingo on Tuesdays and trivia on Wednesday makes this place so much fun!

I thought the food was good, but the staff and atmosphere was even better! I’ve never had a bad experience here. They go above and beyond to meet your needs, and they make you feel like family. This has become a weekly spot for me and my friends. Cannot think of anything bad to say about this place. Who would’ve thought that I would get brussel sprouts at a brewery? That’s how good they are! The weekly specials keep us coming back. From people in their 20s to 80s this is somewhere anyone can have a great experience.

MBC is my #1 restaurant to go to in Morgantown. This place has the best sours, amazing food, great prices and incredible staff. I also love bingo night! Highly recommend to anyone!

Will not go back for food again. Ordered the Brew Pub burger, looked nothing like the picture. (Wish we would have taken a pic). Looked like a single hamburger from a fast food chain. Sent it back, kitchen manager came out to explain that was how it was made, showed him the picture… his response “oh that is just an overstated picture we put on Instagram”. WTH?? Who does that?? Never once tried to make things right. The girls taking the order also argued over how to put our order in the system. Bad food, bad service.

My visit here was in late 18 and the service was just the best. After a long 13hr drive and a 2min walk from my motel I sure was looking for a few coldies and a good feed. This place didnt disappoint at all. Well done guys and will be back in the near future.

So disappointing! We walked in the snow to this place because it was recommended. Once there, barmaid was on her phone and never got off the entire time. She said if we wanted a menu to get it ourselves, so I walked over to get a menu. You would think that would tell her or the wait staff that we wanted to order something. Nope. We sat there for at least 10 minutes, probably more like 15; no one came to take our order. We didn’t even get a beer. No other customers were in the place. Don’t waste your time.

This is a very nice bar (or brewpubto have some great house-made brews. I just found the food too expensive and I couldnt sample one of their beers (Heavy Water Tripel), because it only came in a bottle and it was a large bottle. Other than that, this place was very good.

Good beer, good service, good food. The only minor complaint was we were a bit strapped for time and one of the orders came out as loaded fries not nachos, the cook/waiter offered to exchange but we didnt have time. Otherwise like I said, great stop in for a beer and lunch.

Went in and asked if we have time to order food, it was late so we were just trying to be courteous, the man we spoke to said as long as we ordered before 9 PM it’ll be okay and that they close at 10PM. (It was my bachelorette party weekend, we were just trying to get some food before we went out When we went in and sat down, every single person that worked there ignored us including the man who told us we could come in. If they didn’t want to serve us that’s fine, but to completely act like we didn’t exist was just flat out rude and common. They could’ve just told us.

It’s so so sad to see this place go to the gutter. As a long time Morgantown resident, the transformation this place has taken is really disappointing. This used to be the place where servers gathered after their shift, live music went into the night celebrating different genres and the community around it, the menu was diverse and absolutely delicious, and beers were affordable. Literally none of that exists here anymore. It’s like a five guys with expensive beer and salty service. I’ve tried to give the new vibe a chance, but after the 4th go last Saturday, I think it’s time to face the fact that Morgantown Brewing Company has dwindled away forever. RIP Brew Pub, it was nice knowing you.If you’re looking for a fun Morgantown, local vibe, you’ll want to try somewhere else. Would not recommend to a friend.

One of the best places to eat in Morgantown. The food here is delicious and very affordable. The wings are very good quality and great sauce selection. The vibe in here is also so chill and welcoming. Will be back if Im ever in Morgantown again. Amazing experience.

Had tasters of eight different beers. They clearly understand the “go wild with sours” style, have a SOLID Hefeweizen, and the blonde and Oktoberfest were quality as well. The porter was the weakest of the bunch, and was so smoke forward it was not enjoyable. And I’m the dark beer hero. Regardless of this one hiccup, the wait staff was friendly and attentive, solidly maintaining five stars and a “heart” on my brewery list, which means we will definitely come back next time we are in town.

We came in with a big group last night in a night that was packed with Ive music. With the 4-5 people they had to manage that size of crowd, they did it wonderfully and gracefully corrected any issues that came up. Well done! Oh yeah! And the hot burgers were 🔥! Yum!

I had lunch here with my Mom, and have stopped with my dog (on the deck), and had a nice time both times. Staff was nice. Beer was good. Atmosphere is good. Music was great.

Stopped in on the way home to Pittsburgh.Amazing! I got the weekly special burger, peanut butter and banana, and my fiance got their crispy chicken salad. The food was top notch! Everything down to the fries was well thought out and cooked perfectly. The flavors in the burger were amazing and reminiscent of the piggy butter and jelly served by Burgatory for a fraction of the price and just as awesome 🤘 The crispy brussel sprouts in the salad really made the dish, and added a hit of warmth and flavor you dont get in any other salad! Serious props to the creator of the menu!We each got a flight of beers with our meal and they didnt disappoint. If you are a fan of sours you will love their wide selection! Four on tap, when we visited, and each was unique. I wish they were located in Pittsburgh so we could come every night!

Food is awesome! Service hasnt been great. Why offer table numbers if the food runners dont get the tables right? Waited forever for a beer as part of their taco special. Also if youre going to have trivia get better speakers. Can hardly understand the host especially outside

Fantastic find while visiting Morgantown for an afternoon. We had the Crispy Chicken sandwiches with crispy brussels sprouts and onion rings for sides. Everything was excellent; easily the best crispy chicken sandwich that Ive had in recent memory and the sprouts are so good that theyd convert people who dont even like sprouts. You cant go wrong with the beers. Went with the Alpha Blonde and Golden Boi. Really nice to sit outside on the back porch overlooking the river. Friendly staff and quick service. We will be back!

So I say this with sincerity, the Brew Pub is the best place for quality craft beer and solid food in Morgantown. Ive been coming here for two years and I love it. The bartenders have excellent music choice and it is located right next to the Mon river and rail trail.

Way to many COVID rules!! And food menus online werent the same at restaurant only can order wings and burgers. Had to place your own order at bar? Front doors had been chained locked and had to use back entrance?

Quick service, clean, friendly, and inviting atmosphere. Great burgers, fries, and onion rings. We enjoyed a nice evening on the patio. The brewery has adapted well to COVID-19 dining with socially distanced ordering and touchless payment. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

For still dealing with the covid guidelines, the service was very good. The food is excellent! The burgers are great and the fried brussel sprouts are surprisingly delicious. And of course the beer was good. Small place but worth a stop if you are in the area!

Limited but functional outdoor seating. Look forward to a time that they have their dining area open. Wait staff were very nice and accommodating! Food and craft beer was great! Was a great place to relax after a long day of driving. So glad to have discovered it.

What a turnaround this place has made. Always good food, for like the last decade, but now with good beer! Very IPA heavy and not many great other beers, but the IPA is excellent.

Great brews and food. Glad we found this spot. Parking is tricky but there is a nearby garage and street parking. Worth it

My family and I went to Morgantown Brewing Company for dinner while visiting my daughter at West Virginia University. We had a great experience, mostly because our server was so great. We had some dietary restrictions in our group and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. The burgers were great and the kids loved the various mac and cheese dishes. The salad with brussel sprouts was amazing. We will be back.

Solid spot in Morgantown no matter what time. They have great burgers and good fish and chips. Their assortment of craft beers brewed on-sight meets everyones expectations and then exceeds them. The back deck is a relaxing place to watch a sunset when the weather is warmer. Inside there are several bars available as well as table service at the tables. Stop by and enjoy the best of Morgantown.

Beer was well crafted. Bergsteiger and People Power Beer were instant favorites. Porch allowed relaxed view on the river. Food and service were closer to 3 stars. They keep 4 stars simply for the fact that 10% of the proceeds from Power People goes to the ACLU. Well played.

Fun place to grab a beer in downtown Morgantown. The staff were very friendly. Had to wait for a table but was able to go to the bar in back and grab a beer while we waited. Had live music and energetic atmosphere. The special dessert was spot on!

I ordered solely from the features menu because I’ve heard this is where the best food usually is! I got the buffalo cauliflower which was amazing! I also ordered the Catfish po’boy. So good!

So this is the aftermath of my dining experience. I come up to Morgantown every so often and each place I go to has been better than the last. This is the first time i visited a place that i wanted to do a review for. I love to try local beers but I found 6 beers that Id have to get a glass of because it was that good (if I actually liked i.p.a.s Id like country roads but its still a tad too hoppy). The fried pickles were amazing if everything else was terrible then Id come back just for these bad boys, but thats not the case. My waitress informed me that they had beef tongue tacos. Not afraid to step up to something new, I had to change my order to them. I was not disappointed, but rather surprised at how much I enjoyed them.

Excellent brewpub for craft beer. Fantastic selection. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate a slight problem with one of the meals ordered. Kudos for a job well done!

Great food, beverages & service! Lunch, brunch, or dinner! My favorite! Chicken quesadilla, house salad & wings are my go to, but they have so many great menu options.
