Amusement center with acres of themed areas, rides & attractions for individuals with special needs.
Every major city should have a park like this! What a wonderful place for all ages. My husband and I took our almost 2 year old here and she was able to play on EVERYTHING and ride all the rides with us. The staff was absolutely top notch and we could not have asked for a better day out as a family. Hopefully we will be able to come back when the splash park is open because that looked amazing too!
Pretty small park for what it looks like. The rides were shoddy and in disrepair. A few of the rides didnt even work. Little to no shade where it matters and very limited misting stations to cool you off from the heat. I feel bad for the kids that are brought here. It might be a good alternative instead of six flags or SeaWorld but just take them there instead. Only plus about this park is that the employees are top notch, meeting and exceeding their roles.
This place truly is a wonderland! I am so grateful this exists! If you ever get a chance to visit, make sure you do because these wonderful people are doing so many great things! Morgans Wonderland Ultra-accessible model should be the standard for theme parks. We felt so comfortable and cared about and had SO much fun! Keep doing what youre doing, because youre doing it right!!
We have gone to Morgans for years now and we wouldnt miss it for anything! We go to both sides of the park and also hangout at lunch and eat under the shade. The food is priced fair and is not bad for park food. I would highly recommend this park for a day of fun and excitement.
This place was awesome! Our daughter is 2 and a half. She absolutely loved everything about this place. I did as well. There was plenty to do and restrooms around every corner. We bought tickets to both the play area and Inspiration Island. She loved all the areas that had water which was about 5 different areas. We rode the train, ferris wheel, merry-go-round and she got to drive a jeep on the track. It was definitely a wonderful experience.**A little parent tip... if your child is NOT 3 yet purchase the under 2. The verbiage got me and accidentally paid for a 3 yr old. They were very sweet to want to refund my money but i asked if I could just donate it instead. Everything goes to a great cause!
Phenomenal fun for the whole family, especially those in our family with special needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, the staff and volunteers are incredibly helpful and kind. We can’t wait to go back and have a blast at the water park that is attached.
We had a great time. I love all the sensory activities that they have and the water park was a blast.
Wonderful park full of nice people. I out off going here way too long. Will absolutely be back.
We had a wonderful time at Morgan’s Wonderland and at the water park! I wish more places across the United States were like this. It wasn’t too crowded and they are wonderful with disabled individuals. I found the volunteers to be genuinely kind and helpful. The playground was clean, large, and partially shaded. The employees allowed us to stay on a ride multiple times in a row if there wasn’t a line which is appreciated. The water park offered wheelchairs that were able to get wet! This level of inclusion honestly makes me tear up.The only two very small things I would change about the experience was1. The rails of the train made a very loud noise at certain sections of the track. Perhaps it can be cleaned and oiled?2. My child loves water but does not like when it comes from overhead especially in large tipping buckets. It would have been a big plus if one of the splash pads with slides did not have tipping buckets or jets over the kids heads.Overall we had an amazing time. The story of the father creating this park for his daughter is beautiful. The disabled child or adult can enter the park for free.
Great volunteer opportunities and is fun for the kids that come here with their parents. This is a great park for them, where they feel safe in an inclusive culture. I love the mission and all they do for kids with special needs. Come bring your child, volunteer, or do both!
1st time to Morgans wonderland. My girls had an amazing time. Thry lasted the whole day in the heat since they were having so much fun. Thank you so much!
My kids had a blast here! There’s a sandbox area, train ride, carousel, Ferris wheel, 2 playground areas, and of course Inspiration Island with 5 splash areas. All of these are also included in the purchase of a ticket. For myself and 3 children was $98. Keep in mind, these were for both parks. Everything there is reasonably priced as well. For example, I bought 2 Med. sodas, chicken nuggets w/ fries, 3 bottled waters, 3 chips and nachos for around $30. As advertised, this a great place for people with special needs as well. Every ride is wheel chair accessible. Staff is amazing as well. Will be coming back.
This place is great! Everything is wheelchair accessible, the workers are amazing and so very friendly. One of the rides wasnt working but they got it fixed pretty quickly, i got in for free because of my disability, and the gave my elderly aunt a wheelchair so she didnt have to walk around all day using a cane. The wheelchair that they gave us was good quality too. I would come again. This is a great place for special needs people or just people in general. I definitely recommend.
Morgans wonderland is our favorite place to visit and enjoy the activities they have. We love everything they have to offer. We appreciate the fact that we can be ourselves without being judged and awkwardly stared at when my nephew expresses himself with excitement. (He loves to hollerWe come here every summer for my nephews birthday and he loves it. Cabana rental is great, and the food is delicious(pizza is aamazing). We love you Morgans wonderland.
My kids and I have been twice and have had an amazing experience! We went to the Christmas themed park in Dec. and the water park this summer. The staff is wonderful, you can bring your own food and drinks, and its affordable! This is a place we will keep going!
What a beautiful experience. We met new friends, my parents (ages 65 and 66had a great time! The Littles played and rode every ride available. It’s such a family friendly amusement park and truly play for all. I paid $71 for all 5 admission tickets which was a great deal for me.
Love this place! Had not been in years. Went to check out the new water park. And it is excellent. Lots of seating. Different areas for different ages. Kind of sad the fryer was down so we couldnt really order anything but a burger or something from the Italian place. But we had lots of fun and so did my grandson. So it was a win as always. You can buy tickets for just the park or just the water park. Be did both.
What a beautiful amusement park! We love bringing our little ones here to spend a family day. Youll want to go to the water park side too if its open. Plan to spend the full day here. They have a good snack shack with plenty of shade to have lunch at the park. There are minimal lines to go on rides. The water park is totally open play. Come to have fun!
This is an awesome place for kids. Theres several rides, plenty of playgrounds, theres interactive music & art. This place is good for people with disabilities and is wheelchair friendly. Also, theres a water park!
Great place to take kids, and very affordable. The Inspiration Island water park was very cool. My 4 year old daughter had a blast. Was expecting more rides at the main park, but still was not disappointed for the price. Will definitely be going back!
Our 4 year old autistic son and 2 year old daughter absolutely loved this place! We bought the dual day pass and spent majority of our time at Morgans Inspiration Island on very hot Sunday! Cant believe we stayed from 12-5pm and my son didnt want to leave this placePros:-Friendly staff (loved how they give everyone an opportunity to work and they made us feel welcomed)-Reasonable ticket and food prices (their chicken tenders were pretty good)-Not too crowded-No wait times/long lines-Perfect theme park introduction for young kids-Lots of different splash padsOnly negative:Some parents dont watch/take care of their own kidsThere was a young girl (around 7-8 years oldwho ran into my 2 year old daughter causing her to fall and hit the back of her head as we were getting out from the water slide. The life guard and a couple of people saw what happened and that young girl had no adult supervision. Luckily, my daughter was okay 👍Also, there were several occasions where kids skip or shove other kids going down the water slides AND parents letting their kids just sit at the bottom of the water slides 🤦♀️Some suggestions:Have life guards at the top and bottom of every slide to prevent any commotionsLazy river and a large kiddie swimming pool (doesnt have to be deepwould be nice in the futureMore theme park ridesOverall, we recommend this place to all young families who have or dont have kids with special disabilities
Wonderful! My little ones are learning to swim and here at Tortuga Bay they are free to explore and ease up on their anxiety. Hours of fun. Lots of shaded areas. Cabana is on my radar next. Highly recommend this place.
Lovely experience at the splash park. We went for the first time with my 6yrs old and 4 months old. The staff is beyond sweet and informative. We went 10min early (10:50amto make sure we found parking (since it was our first time and a Sundaytheir parking is comfortable and easy to find. At 1:30pm when we left there were still spots left, so no need to be going in circles waiting for a spot.Looking forward to possibly buying the dual ticket or even becoming a member.
This is a wonderful amusement and water park for young children. My grandchildren absolutely loved this place and didnt want to leave. My granddaughter caught a giant fish in the fishing area and was super excited about it!We didnt have to wait in any lines for the rides, the staff there is amazingly friendly, and the whole place is just a wholesome spot for families with young children.
Wow. Its a true wonderland! My family couldnt have had a more perfect day. There was something for EVERYONE to do
We were looking for a good place to take a toddler and a place that would not be over crowded like sea world. This place was PERFECT. And there were other toddlers our baby got to play with. Staff was super friendly and the place was clean.
We brought our 19 month old son to see if he will be able to play and ride rides here without needing to walk since he is delayed in walking right now and he was able to get on all the rides with a parent with him and he LOVED the playground areas because there was plenty of space to crawl and several climbing areas that he was able to do. The sensory areas were awesome too ( he loved pushing the buttons on the video game counsel they had). We will definitely bring him back.
We had a blast there today with our kids! We love how it’s an all inclusive amusement park for all ages, even our baby girl was able to ride all the rides with us 🥰 The park is gorgeous with a train ride around the water, it’s honestly breathtaking views. Everyone is so nice and helpful that works there. The rides were a blast and the splash pads are huge for all ages too with slides! Highly recommend this place, you could easily spend all day here and time just flies by! No long lines to wait in either and we went on a holiday weekend. It was a birthday party that we attended today and we’ll definitely be back! It’s perfect for a kids birthday party!
Excellent place to take your kiddos for a fun-filled day! Family and educational oriented. Snack prices are pretty affordable.
I’m so glad we made the trip to San Antonio to go to Morgan’s Wonderland while visiting family here. My son had the best time! I wish we had an amusement park like this closer to Charlotte NC. I think kids older than 10 would be board quickly but definitely a great place for special need children! This place is a blessing to parents who want there special needs children to feel like any other child. We definitely will be back and hopefully get to do the water park as well. Among other things it’s amazing that special needs children are free.
We had the honor to come to Morgans Wonderland (Camp, Cove & Parkfor our sons school field trip. This beautiful place accepts children of all abilities and made our son feel so included and loved! The park features a fun sensory village, an area for kids to try fishing and a wonderful set of rides where it doesn’t matter if you’re mobility impaired or not, it is truly a wonderland. Calypso cove has 5 different splash pad areas and we recommend getting the tickets for both the park and waterpark to come cool off after a day at the park. Our favorite was the furthest area back which has two fun slides and a giant water bucket that rains down refreshing water upon you. Definitely an amazing place that we will continue to come back to again and again ❤️
Morgan’s Wonderland never disappoints for my family. My kids always have a blast. Everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. Captain Chris was amazing at the Wharf helping my daughter reel in a giant catfish! There is plenty of shade and places to play to keep the kids happy all day long. We can’t wait to go back again!
I have not seen so many smiles in such a big place at one time! What an awesome experience! My kids had a blast and it looked like everyone had a blast also! The staff was very nice and food prices were not bad at all. Excellent family experience!
A great place for family and kids to have fun riding the carousel, the ferris wheels, the off road adventure ride, or the Wonderland Express train around the lake. Prices are reasonable and wheel chair accessibility for all rides.
My son had a blast ! There were a ton of school kids , but it didn’t take away from our experience . My son didn’t care for waiting in line for food and drink for 45 mins in the heat , but we tried to stay hydrated . There’s plenty to do to stay busy from 10-3 ! I love the mission and the thought of including everyone . I think my sons favorite part was the water works and sensory exhibit . Everything is reasonably priced . Worth the trip .!
Wow, just wow. Kids of all abilities playing and having fun together. Staff if all abilities smiling everywhere you turn. Inspiration overload.
We had an absolute blast here. It is perfect for the whole family, I have a toddler who was able to run and play. I really love how accomodating it is for those with special needs. It made me so happy to see so many other kids getting to play along side us and enjoy it as well. Highly recommend to anyone to check it out, donate and support the amazing things they are doing there. Also, food and drinks are VERY reasonably priced. Well worth it ❤️
Ive had the blessing of taking my ALE (adapted learning environmentclass to Morgans for a few years. The kids become giddy with excitement to go to a park the really understands their sensory needs. The hard part about going in May, is everyone school group will be there. If you can, try and go in earlier spring - April to avoid the bigger crowds. There are restrooms with changing areas for teen-adult students in walkers and wheelchairs. There is a misted area near the entrance and fans on the picnic tables. Other than the Sensory village building, there isnt any reprieve from the heat, unless you play in the waterworks station or go to the waterpark. Make sure you bring portable fans and stay hydrated, it gets hot in Texas. The modifications for students with adapted equipment is genius and its awesome to see students with all abilities engage with the different activities and rides.I love that other adults with various disabilities run and manage the park as its operating. They have so much pride, joy and excitement in working! Thanks Gordan & Morgan for a fantastic place for our kids to go.
We loved going to this park for the first time! I love that it is ultra accessible, even if you have a baby in a stroller. The park is not overwhelming and everything is pretty close together so you aren’t tiring yourself out walking long distances in the heat. It’s also very shaded. The water park is a series of awesome splash pads for all ages, and again all pretty close together. They even have one with warm water if you or your kiddos don’t like the cold water. Every staff we encountered was friendly and my son LOVED being able to fish. Captain Chris was awesome and taught my son how to use the fishing pole, hook his own bait and helped him catch his very first fish! We will definitely be back!
This is such an amazing place and the people here are truly amazing! We went on the carousel for about a hundred times and my sons favorite part was Hans and Stevens the guys at the carousel! This place is a blessing, thank you for all you do.❤️
It was my son and I’s first time and I can honestly say he had an amazing time! I love the fact that everyone of all ages can use the rides, and the playground. That is incredible! Everyone was so sweet and respectful. We will def be coming back! We went on a Sunday and it was so peaceful. Not crowded at all.
Wonderful amusement park that is family friendly for all ages and abilities. Best for toddlers through about 12 yrs old and also for great for grandparents. No height requirements for any rides so all ages can participate. Well designed park. We plan to return when the water park opens
This is the best park we have been to where all the kids can enjoy themselves. The staff is super friendly, everything is wheelchair accessible and the prices for snacks and food is reasonable. We try to visit this park at least once a year. We drive up from Houston, it is worth the peace of mind knowing our child can get access everything with his siblings. The water park is also a lot of fun and accessible to everyone. They also lend our child a wheelchair free of charge that’s waterproof. I wish they had one in closer to home! I definitely recommend visiting here for anyone with kids.
A wonderful kids park where all the kids can enjoy .Really appreciate the efforts they done to make the park accessible for special need kids too.Really recommend park to visit.
This place is totally AMAZING!We have so much to be thankful for in the world.Thank you Morgan
Awesome park for kids w swings and snacks bars and train ride. Great water park in the summer.
Volunteered to pass out candy on Halloween this year! Wonderful park designed to give kids with special needs a great time with train rides, ferris wheel, gentle water activities, and more! Inclusive to all kids. I had a lot of fun!
So much fun for our group of kiddos. My 6 year old said the carousel and Jeep ride were her favorite and asked when we can come back. We had kids from 8 years to 6 months and it was great fun for all of us. Lots of shade, lots of breeze and space, wasnt crowded at all, and you can bring a picnic. We will definitely be coming back.
We always loved this place! ❤ kids and grown ups can ride with kids and have equal amount of fun. I highly recommend!
A neat little theme park for kids and kids-at-heart that is inclusive and all rides and play areas provide accommodations for special needs. They have a carousel, car rides, train ride, ferris wheel, a mini city (with store, theatre and museumand other fun stuff.Theres a wharf where they have a place to fish and the fishing guide there was wonderful. He helped our kids catch their first fish.
