Morduch - Middle Eastern restaurant in Jerusalem, Israel
Morduch in Jerusalem
Description
Privilege
So yummy. It’s an unpretentious place and the people are extremely friendly
Fewer things make me happier than a bowl of kubbeh hamusta soup from this Jerusalem institution
MoreGreat Jewish Iraqi warm clocked food
Crowded, old style cooking, very noisy in a noisy environment.
A decent place to eat lunch at reasonable price
As always great food and amazing service. Always a pleasure to go there...they make me feel at home
MoreGreat ethnic Israeli food. If you are a tourist, dont miss this place.
This time I went for the hummus. It was superb. My mouth and stomach are always happy here.
MoreBest kuba soup in town
The food was not good at all.
The place is great, nice to sit. The food is good and they even have gluten-free options.
MoreWe have been in this place several times over a years. On Friday its always busy and one need to be ready to wait in line. We usually go for red kubbeh soup or hamusta soup. This time we also ordered hummus samusa and we have got 2 small pieces, nothing interesting. Also we asked instead of plastic glasses for regular ones and they had none.
Morewonderful place. great food. great ambience. super friendly and helpful staff....
MoreThis is what people refer to authentic place, in the most positive sense.Small and stuffed, but with pleasant atmosphere, it is heated and intense, yet we felt welcomed.Service was friendly and helpful, but we already got exact tips what to order, and the Siske is indeed a special dish worth trying. Small salads as starters were nice, only one thing missing was the option to end with tea (no hot beverages offered, we were informed by the waitress)Totally recommended, if in the area. Fair price, satisfying portions.
MoreExcellent traditional food from a family run place - 3 generations and 39 years of being open. Very tasty fresh humus, stuffed zucchini and variety of dishes.
MoreGreat popular food exelent service
Food is mediocre quality, traditional meuravim, humus etc. Managed by the son of the original owner who is often there for lunch. Service is slow and not very enthusiastic. Been here a few times recently at the invitation of friends. Always disappointing. Azura has much better food, service and fun staff, and is two minutes walk from here.
MoreMy favourite restaurant in the market. Amazing food and wonderful owners and workers
MoreExcellent service and great food.
Definitely one of my favorites in the market. Family owns.friendly service and great traditional food.
MoreNice traditional Jewish Iraqi food.
Amazing cuba soup! good prices. right next to the market
Excellent food, really typical, a nice little workers restaurant. Pleasant service, great and cozy place.A reasonable price, medium size portions and a selection of pampering salads that arrived at the table as soon as we sat down. We ate excellent Kuba soup and a mixed stuffed vegi plate, everything was very good.Highly recommended for those who want to taste local food and tasty
MoreFoodwise, placewise: not worth a penny.
This well-known place had its prime days years ago. Popular for its mid-Asian Kurdish-Iraqui originated dishes (ethnic soups and stuffed veggies), it is still worthwhile trying, but I enjoyed the food there years ago much better
MoreGreat local food for fare prices
Special food, red Kube in a red soup.
Lovely place, excellent kube soup and salads. Very reasonably priced
Good home made Israeli food. Good atmosphere and service, but the prices are on the high end of the scale for this kind of foods.
MoreGood food, very very noisy.
The best and most authentic hummus in Jerusalem. Excellent service, and reasonable prices.
MoreWe visited the restaurant during Friday lunch - the restaurant was full and crouded and some of the dishes were finished. The service was average. Most of the dishes are tasty and authentic with reasonable price.
MoreAuthentic Iraqian food at Mahane Yehuda market in Jerusalem.Red Kube soup is highly recommended!
MoreCheap and delicious, really good selection of starters for just 5nis a person, and fantastic kibbeh.
MoreGood homemade cooking. Tasty Israeli dishes.
Great food. Not expensive.
authentic restaurant place near Ben Yehuda Market in Jerusalem. Tasty food with good pricing. Personally recommend the "kube selek" dish.
MoreGood Iraki/Kurdish restaurant next to Jerusalem market.Kubbeh is very good! I recommend the Sista one.Kubbeh soup prices are 38 nis.The places design havent change gor decades, but it is adding to the food authenticity. Its a eat and leave place, a bit noisy, cannot plan to sit there for hours.Service is fast and professional.Great value for money.Very recommended.
MoreGreat, simple food, tasty for both your stomach as well as your wallet!
Ive loved this place for over 30 years. Great kubeh soups and oriental dishes and great value for money.
MoreMedium quality, way to expensive, low value of price for taste
Best Kubbeh I have ever had! Incredibly good price. Love this place !!
Very good Iraqi style kubeh soup
Great kobe, just the best, recommended visiting at least one time or more 😁
