Morazán Plaza - City park in Sensuntepeque, El Salvador
Morazán Plaza in Sensuntepeque
Description
We visited with the family and thought it was so beautiful being able to go back and see those beautiful buildings feeling secure and learn a little bit more about our culture.
MoreVery clean. Well kept and secure. Its being patrolled by the police.

The public space has certainly improved over the past years. Felt very safe, lots of food options in a close proximity which is great if youre there to check out the church or Palacio nacional. We were in the area for classic car event, the city did a great job facilitating the event. The area for the most part was clean, well kept, but very crowded; something to keep in mind when visiting.
MoreJust a historical place
Worth visiting but under a lot of construction at the moment.
Beautiful but dirty
Nice

Changes are coming
Wonderful
The beginning of the recovery of the historical downtown in San Salvador. Very beautiful.
MoreRelaxed vibes
Very nice
Nice place.
Safe area and nearby cafes are amazing
Amazing historic National Theatre in the heart of San Salvador and close to artisans ex-couartel mall. There are multiple shops in the area and restaurants. Security at this place is high which will make you feel safe and secured. The local ice cream paleteros are an amazing treat to have while you take your best pictures. Go before noon so you get the sun at the perfect angle.
Morenice, although more benches could be better
Not enough benches or shades, pretty and clean.
Nice market and lots of good restaurants
Good old centro must go 4 any traveler
Very pleasant family place
Thats place is nice to be able hanging out
Very nice place in downtown and local businesses with nice local food.
Convenient place to have fun as family
Crowded as usual, many people visit this place to chat and rest after work.
Great place to visit... safe for tourism..
at the histórico center in San Salvador, was nice and well decorated x xmast
Clean and safe
Very well guarded place by the cam or local law enforcement. Good nice and cheap places to enjoy a good time
MoreReally nice a bit dirty but their was police making sure that it was safe.
Very nice, still memorable the Spanish influences!!!!
Great place to hangout late at night. Decent amount of security and number of places to eat/get a coffee. Great place for picture taking.
MoreA place that bring you good memories
Love it
The plaza offers a nicer view of the Metropolitan Cathedral than that available from the cathedrals main entrance. There are places around the plaza to eat local food in a local atmosphere at local prices.
MoreIts a better place now, because it used to be a mess before Bukele wining the San Salvadors Majors election.
MorePlaza Morazán has been rejuvinated as part of the facelift given to the historical center of the city. With the increased security in the area, there is a relaxed feel to it an alsi Plaza Barrios in front of the Cathedral and National Palace. There is also a multistorey car park on the east side of the plaza.
MoreVery nice atmosphere. Felt very safe. Highly recommended!!!
Salvadoran downtown, cultural place, good cafes.
It was really beautiful right in the Plaza! But everything outside of it needs to get reorganized and a little paint and some work done because you know youre going to visit a nice place, but everything you see just before getting there is so ugly! That it seems that they only worked for the plaza to look nice and thats it!!!
MoreA year ago was here, and was a mess, but this time they have down a amazing job fixing this area, beautiful at night time, a place to come, looks safe enough but I will come in group, slowly new nice store open around.
MoreDuring its last modification, this historical square has gained new life, there are places where you can sit, parking lots, cafeterias and tiny restaurants. Also quite close to other Squares (Barrios & Liberty Squares). So close also to the Metropolitan Cathedral and National Theather. Place worth to be visited during day and night.
MoreIts a nice small park to visit, since the national theatre is right in front of it.
MoreMonument to Francisco Morazán
