Moonlight Cantonese Restaurant in Taipei

Claimed as Cantonese restaurant but not that closed to it. The highlight is the roasted Peking duck with maple wood. I would say the duck is rather too big in size and prefer smaller and more juicer meat. The duck meat kind of dry and probably overly cooked. The wraps were way too thick compare to smaller and thinner skin in typical Peking duck elsewhere! I ate 2 pieces and kind of full already! The vegetables seafood soup is rather bland.. too much starch added. Lack of umami factor.. the lobster noodle cooked well with perfect doneness of the lobster company by tasty noodles blended with flavourful seafood sauces. The braised sea cucumber and abalone were just so so.. need stronger taste ! However, the fried thin noodle with remaining duck meat was great but already too full to eat! The pork chop cooked in special prepared sauce was fantastic as the meat cooked just about right in term of tenderness!

用餐環境乾淨明亮，人手似乎有些不足服務人員一直很匆忙靚皮烤鴨二吃$2380真的挺不錯，皮脆肉嫩之外有別於一般的甜麵醬配大蔥這裡更多了一些特別的搭配餅皮也有三種，個人很喜歡二吃選了蘿蔓生菜蛋白炒鴨鬆生菜新鮮清脆，搭配鴨鬆的份量挺剛好青檸焦糖松阪豬$400可單吃也可搭配檸檬皮一起吃松阪豬挺香但個人覺得有點太甜份量很精緻的一道菜鮮蝦腐皮卷$220中規中矩還不錯葡式沙丹焗蝦球$680超雷，味道就是…參了水的芥末美奶滋港式炸兩腸粉$200炸兩就是油條啦！楊枝甘露凍$250裡面包了西米露和葡萄柚果粒很特別的一道甜點，嚐過就好我還是喜歡傳統的楊枝甘露

訂了1130，可能是剛開店，感覺有些人手不足。點了茶水後隔了一陣子才上茶壺與開胃菜（預定時已先點了鴨合宴與鵝四吃），等待期間有些讓人不知所措幸好鴨和鵝分別上桌後表現都很不錯，同時享用更能體會出鵝肉的嫩。片鴨皮肉分離，完整的保留了鴨皮的脆，此外還有提供多種配料，為傳統片鴨增加新意其他菜色也表現不錯，很常見的魚子燒賣也做出水準，要不是吃太飽有想加點的慾望😂8個人吃兩套（一鴨一鵝）四人餐（點餐時有詢問四人餐是否要補齊八人分，因考量到我們點了兩套就只維持四人份量），每個人都吃很飽，飽到剩下的菜打包回家當晚餐，夏天菜還保有餘溫，隔餐吃還是很好吃

The roasted goose needs reservation in advance, 3 days earlier, but the tastes in all 4 dishes are all great, up to the expectations I had before my visit.The service provided by various waiters and waitresses is great and consistent.The fifth star would be there if the air conditioning was good enough. It was too hot during our meal period even when we asked for a lower temperature.

A moderate mix of flavors. Not impressed but a quiet place to dine.

The best duck I have ever eaten!!! The flavors were incredible, as was the service! We chose the Cantonese whole duck, served tableside with "pancakes" and toppings and sauces to make your own delicious wrap. One of our favorite restaurants ever!

The ambience is nice, clean, and neat. Services are good. Food is delicious, especially the dim sum. One must have is a special mango sago tapioca dessert, shaped into a very real like corn. Great place for gathering.

I cant stay away from Chinese food. I really love that stuff.The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.But not tonight, a bit pity海皇羹 (Cantonese seafood soupwas a feast for the eyes and the senses. Swirls of cream contrasted with an orange seafood sauce to form the iconic pattern. Underneath the sauces lay a bed of yang kind dofu containing a bounty of minced jewels: steamed fish and vegetables , Chinese dinsan, peas etc., spring onions, and wisps of egg. Slices of white onions and fish emerged from the Chinese oil sauce while shrimp and sweet green peas decorated the cream.10000 yen for whole set of crab. Nothing should be complained. Food is not as good as expected. Overpriced tea.Customers pay at the reception desk. I think this is the only restaurant in Marriot Group that the waiter/ waitress does not come to the table with bills.

A good restaurant with great food and service. The decorations of the restaurant is also good. The food is great and has vegetable set. The only missed star is the direction from public transportation, such as MRT, is not clear.

this is a decent Cantonese restaurants with a few dim sum selection. The price is a little too high for what it is but since it is located in a restaurant near a hotel I guess its understandable. I would probably come back to this restaurant again but order different things given that we were sort of on a vegetarian diet. The service was pretty good then the tea was nice and the tea was warmed by the pot can you do something

Located on level 8 of courtyard by Marriott hotel. Exceptional restaurant serving Cantonese styled cuisine, famous for their Peking style roast duck which requires reservations 3 days in advance before you can order the dish. The set menu I had was a complimentary dinner package with the hotel room and it was delicious. Every single dish was well made and delicately presented. Chinese fine dining. Highly recommended

This is a fabulous place for family dining. The corn-shaped mango sago custard is impressive.

The main meal is delicious, and the variety of food bars. Feel satisfying.

Food here is absolutely amazing! Very delicious and nicely presented. It’s among my top 2 cantonese restaurants by far. I’ve been here 3 times within a month after my first visit. (Even came in two consecutive days at the very beginning. Haha.Almost everything I had was really impressive but if I have to recommend a few dishes do order the 剝皮辣椒雞捲 and 海鮮廣炒麵, they are soo yummm!

Food was food, well flavored and service fine too. Pricey but that we knew in advance.Note that you have to take Marriott entrence and go up to 4th floor with elevator.

The food was delicious and presented beautifully. (I had my doubts about the duck with ginger and cheese it turned out to be pretty good). The Matsuzaka pork had a bit too much caramelized sugar, but that was really the only minor complaint for the food. On the flip side maybe its because we came during a busy night but the staff was a bit unresponsive, and service was pretty slow.

Best Beijing roast duck in town and other delicious and ding sum dish, a must try place in Taipei

The place is elegant and comfortable and the food is excellent. Everything we ordered were outstanding. The price of course is on the higher end but I think its worth it. The service was somewhat slow even though it wasnt very busy. The place has a parking structure but the line to get in can be ridiculously long, street parking might be the better option.

Good Contones food I ever tasted in Taipei City, but flavor little bit like Taiwan cuisin.

This restaurant offers excellent Cantonese food. It has a good variety and nice ambient. One could meet for business or just for sort of fancy dinner with friends. The food is excellent. We tried several dishes and none disappointed. The service is quick and attentive. Dinner for two with a beer at about 1700 NTD.

We r having set dinner serving per head basis. Food is above average corresponding to the price.

One of the best Cantonese restaurant in Taipei City, you must try Caramelized Superior Pork (青檸焦糖松阪豬and Dessert Tofu Pudding “Douhua” (傳統鮮豆花).

Nice and quiet ambiance, price is on 5 star hotel level, a bit more expensive, but quality is good. Good service through out the meal. Value for money is a bit low as you can get more ambiance and better food quality in W hotel or Grand Hyatt with the same price range.
