Lamb Balti and the naan were nice and flavoursome, but the rest of the food was absolutely shocking. Tikka Masala was just a tub of red food colouring mixed with sugar and pilau rice was tasteless, no difference from regular rice, so not sure what made it pilau- the coloured bits? Whats up with all the colouring? Ordered as the place has great reviews, but I dont really know why...

Great naans that are always fresh. Very generous portion sizes that are good value for money. Really friendly staff. Havent got enough nice words to say about it.

Super good chicken karahi, prices not too bad either. Staff are really friendly and service is also of a good standard. Was surprised by this place as its honestly better than some of the places on curry mile.

New to the area - ordered takeaway for collection - all really great, fresh, and flavoursome. Staff were all really lovely and easy going too. Nice experience. Looking forward to eating in in the future. Definitely gonna be my go to local !

Lovely food, fast service, reasonable prices and our server was really nice. Being able to bring your own drinks is a bonus, would recommend!

Myself and my wife have just had an amazing meal at "The Moon" in withington.We have not been for years due to moving out of the area but we are pleased to say that the standard/quality of food is as high as ever. Excellent and affordable place.

Attended as part of a 60th birthday celebration, service was very good. Neither too intrusive or lacking. And no mistakes were made with orders which was appreciated. My main wasnt what I was expecting in terms of how it was served. But everything I had was tasty and of good quality. Also You can take your own alcohol in ( the bar is a dry onewhich is handy for keeping your bill down, so my meal turned out to be very affordable. Overall very happy.

I came here with my family. The food and customer service was great. I enjoyed my time.

Food was okay , nothing to complain about also nothing to rave about .The two star come from a very inappropriate waiter who whilst I was out for a family meal kept trying to have conversation with me and interrupting our conversation with it being a small venue he was quiet clearly stood listening to our conversations .

Incredible experience - the seekh kebabs were the best weve had, the Madras and Karahi were perfect and the naan bread is to die for. We went for garlic naan as well as peshwari naan - delicious!The staff are very welcoming and attentive 😁

Decent tikka masala for a more affordable price than other restaurants in the area, the sauce had separated a little so was slightly watery, but Id definitely order here again.

The only reason this has a star (other than the fact its compulsory for a ratingis because of the Peshwari Naan. I ordered a Vindaloo which was essentially a generic curry with copious amounts of chilli powder in; making the sauce dry and the flavour rancid. Genuinely felt ill afterwards. Didnt taste authentic at all and no potato despite it being a VindALOO; which is Indian for potato. In short, Morrisons do better ready meals and for cheaper.

Really enjoyed the food here and was really impressed with usman and his hosting skills ...very reasonably priced with good portion sizes and can bring own alcohol too so was a win .. nicely air con too so was cooler which is a bonus when sweating having a curry (not too cold though).. oh and the sweet chilli with the poppadoms was absolutely amazing.. defo recommended

Recently got a take away. The interiors of the restaurant was great. Will definitely go back once all this lockdown is done, when we go back to the new normal what ever that new normal is. They had very good interiors... recently redone. Very good seating area. Looks a lot better on the inside than outside so would highly recommend it.

Awful food, bhajis were tiny, overcooked and tasted shop bought. I’ve had as good from Tesco. Lamb had a strange smell, which made the curry inedible. It tasted old and mushy. Ended up throwing it all away and making my own food. Could not recommend you avoid this place enough.

Reheated chicken in a very watered down curry - niceeee. Called to complain basically got told I was a liar. You cannot mistake reheated chicken ,it has a very distinctive taste and texture, however they insist it was fresh. Thought I would give this place another try after a shocking experience few years ago. It hasnt changed. If your taste buds are dead, this is the place for you.

Ordered food through takeaway service. The bags they use for naans and parathas are definitely not food packaging material.While eating, I noticed severe aluminium dust like material on my hand and on the naan as well. When I checked the bag, it was coming from it.Its very scary that Ive consumed the food with that dust. Advice them to take actions as soon as possible regarding this issue!!How can this quality issue not been checked when buying these bags????? Very poor service!!!

went here before my hols. without doubt it is the best curry i have ever had faultless. and the side dips were superb. staff friendly and always chatty. it will be used more on my stays in Manchester area

An unplanned visit turned a cold Saturday February night into a pleasent evening. The place was empty when we arrived at 5.30 but soon filled up and by 7 the place was almost full. Modern decor with a waterfall water feature mounted on the back wall.We had a simple starter of popadoms, my partner and I werent too keen on the relishes, cabbage but no lime pickle or traditional mango chutney however the vegetable samosas were lovely.The main course, chicken Rogan Josh was fresh and tasty, not too hot and with plenty of depth of flavour. Good qualty chicken too. We would of preferred real cooked chips to the frozen French fries. The pillau rice was tasty and plentiful.A clean welcoming friendly Indian modern style restaurant at very affordable prices. The meal including 2 pints of Cobra came to just £31.00.

Visited here and was not disappointed. Nicely decorated 👌👌. Our waiter was extremely helpful. Food was plentiful, lots of meat in our curries. The naan was incredibly tasty. The meal was fantastic value for money also.

Highly recommend this place! Best curry house ive ever been to so far, great customer service and friendly staff. Most likely lamb chops starter best one going in Manchester, first time going didn’t think it would be this good.

Food was delightful. Highly recommend the garlic naan with free sauces. My friends all enjoyed their food too. Very friendly service. BUT one of our naans was forgotten which has lost star. Have heard it’s bring your own booze though!! 🥂🥂

One of the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Vegetarian selection is very wide, I ordered Vegetarian Korma and it was one of the best I have ever had. The mushroom fried rice was also excellent. Finally, the service was absolutely superb. The staff was extremely nice and available. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

I have been going here for years. This place has friendly staff and decent curry for the price. Dont come here expecting high quality cuisine, the food served here is solid satisfying meals. Great if you want to come for a quick-ish meal, if you arrive early, or for groups .To put the price in perspective, Poppadoms, 1 x rice, 2 x curries, 1 x garlic nann and 2 x beers costs around £24-£30 for me. Not bad when splitting the between two.

One of the best restaurants in South Manchester - certainly better than anywhere I have tried on the curry mile. Friendly and attentive staff. Good choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians.However, I would not recommend the takeaway service. I have only had two takeaways delivered, and on both occasions it took between 1 hour and 90 minutes.
