Montys Chicken Sandwich was great. I enjoyed their fries and I am so picky about my French fries, if you know me. The sauce was great. I had the House Sauce and the Sriracha Aioli. I love that the pins and stickers are free, they are so generous. The Chicken Sandwich was a lot of food for me so I had leftovers. I tried to eat the next day. The day-after bun, so hard but the vegan chicken patty, good still!

Delicious… I love the 50/50 fries and tots and the Arnold Palmer. The burger was delicious as well! You can hardly tell the difference in taste between a hamburger and these plant based burgers. I was impressed I’ll definitely be back. And I like all the stickers and shirts and stuff they have. Great great merchandising…

Stopped in for a quick snack while waiting for the theater. Had the 50/50 tots and fries with onion aioli. They were done perfectly! Arnold Palmer was good too. Priced right. Will definitely be back to try other food.

Im not vegan/vegetarian and havent tried any vegan burgers before this. It was okay, I was starving so I finished it. The REAL star here was their ranch and fries. The best ranch ive ever eaten and it was vegan?? Omg. Ill come back to maybe try the chicken sandwich but DEFINITELY to grab some fries with ranch. Id even buy that ranch in bulk.

This place was super good! I had a chicken sandwich and cheese fries - both were exceptional and dripping with the perfect amount of fry oil. I finished my meal with a coffee shake and was a bit disappointed that it was just finely ground coffee beans in vanilla oat milk ice cream instead of actual coffee flavored ice cream. It tasted like a vanilla shake with a bit of coffee flavor instead of the exaggerated, unmistaken coffee flavor we all love. Dont get me wrong though, it was delicious! This is the only meal you need all day because its so, so decadent.

We had such a good experience at Monty’s! My 2 yr old can’t handle dairy, and everything here is plant based. He had a grilled cheese sandwich and a milkshake, and he was in heaven! We’ll definitely be back!

Probably good for other people however for impossible burgers it underperforms compared to other plant based meat and even impossible burgers. Somehow a burger with plants grown in the Arizona desert taste much better than in soCal. Fries are decent and Arnold palmer is really good.

Im not a vegan but my daughter is. Its hard to find a restraint that we can both get excited about. First on the list are the tater tots and fries. Absolute perfection if you love a crispy exterior and fluffy inside. Match it with any of the several unique dipping sauces and its a meal by itself. I prefer plain old ketchup. The sweet cold sauce paired with the steaming hot and salty tot is incredible. The shakes are equally as inspired and rewarding. Go nuts and have a burger and a shake at montys. You will be very happy you did.

The food was good but it was just your average burger. The best part was the dressings they offer. The tater tots were good.

Always a breeze ordering at this Montys! Theres usually always dine in seating as well for a nice vegan diner experience. The cheeseburger is my go to but their new chicken sandwich is also delicious. Lettuce wrap sub available for both options. The shakes are yummy yet light- usually a base of vanilla with added flavors. Great for sharing.

Love this place. I dont follow a vegan diet but I choose Montys over a lot of burger places. Their classic cheeseburger is so flavorsome and delicious. Love the fries too! Theyre thin and crispy and a good serving size. I tried the chicken sandwhich and I personally didnt like it, it was spongey after the first few bites but worth trying once at least.

Always so good. Milkshake is to die for. Definitely must try.100% recommended

I’ve been wanting to try Monty’s for years and it was absolutely worth the wait. The burger was just right in every way I hoped. I especially love the pickles they use. I think I recommend a double if you want a “meat” heavy burger. The tater tots were perfect as well. Just the right amount of crispy and salty, made even better with the sauces. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. The girl working the register helped us pick our sauces and was really attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

I took a chance and had the chicken sandwich here and it was terrible. It lacked any flavor and I had trouble finishing it. Ive never had an experience like this at any vegan restaurant. Do yourself a favor and try something else on the menu if you come here.

First time trying out a meatless cheeseburger and Monty’s did not disappoint! The burger was delicious and the texture was reminiscent of a beef patty. I love the shoestring fries - crispy and not so salty. The strawberry lemonade was carbonated and not too sweet. Can’t wait to come back and get another meal!

Let me preface this review by saying that I am a die hard carnivore. That being said, @montysgoodburger served up a pretty decent burger.The plant based patty was surprisingly tasty and I didnt feel like I was eating a meatless burger. Same thing with the cheese, I didnt feel like I was missing out on anything.Overall, it was good burger. Was it $15 good? No. Would I get it again? Burgers were amazing as well as milkshakes fries and tots were as expected. Everything was delicious. Got a chicken just to try it. It didn’t taste like seitan assuming tofu it was amazing also. I hate seitan but everything was on point. We had plant power the other night and it was awful so if you have to choose between the two please pick Monty’s! You won’t be disappointed as a burger restaurant.

I dont understand why it has a good rating, if everything is horrible even the coke, it tastes like a remedy and knowing that when I paid 65 for 3 hamburgers I thought that the price was the omen of a good hamburger living up to its name but nothing is good, until the Vanilla shake that I asked my son came out with a taste not at all similar to a vanilla flavor, he did not want to drink it.

Always ordered the chicken burger. Its kinda greasy and fried which makes it really delicious. Bathrooms are nice in the building and free refills if u keep your cup. Best vegan burgers Ive tried so far.

Wow! Just wow! The chickn sandwich absolutely FLOORED me! It was so good!! The batter was soooo crispy and the chickn inside was so juicy. The burgers were amazing too (my boyfriend ordered those). Tried the root beer float as well and it was definitely the best I’ve ever had. If you’re passing by or a local- vegan or not- GO HERE!! You will not be disappointed. There was really quick service too, only like 5 min for our order. And a bonus: the pins and stickers are free! Putting this on my car for sure.

Amazing Vegan burger that is just as good as In and Out...I know you may think not possible but it was amazing. Also tried their new fries chicken sammy and have to say I could not tell it was Vegan. Juicy, tasty, texture....all the makings of Tasty Goodness. So good, will drive out of my way to go to one of their 3 locations. Highly recommend.

As much as I hate to admit, I really liked the burger. I am a meat eater, and I was impressed by the texture and char flavor of the burger.

Got the burger, tots & milkshake. Super small menu so it’s not hard to decide 🤣. The burger was delicious but I didn’t like the bun to patty ratio. The patty is a little thin for my liking but it still tasted good. The milk shake & tots were on point.

The Max’d Out Fries & Tots are the best vegan fries I’ve had - the cheese and sauce were excellent.The Single and Double Burgers were overall great. I didn’t like the bun - Disclaimer: I am a big fan of burger buns so I may be a stickler but that’s the only criticism I have of the burger. The taste is delicious and burger is seasoned very well.I ordered the Coffee Milkshake it had potential but I didn’t like the taste of the coffee flavoring used. It didn’t quite taste like espresso but an imitation coffee flavoring.I am looking forward to coming back and trying different types of fries and shakes - customer service was A1!

It was so delicious, especially mixing that fires and tater tots 😋 so yummie! Worth the drive. Especially for Vegans. Vegetarian and even people who arent. Always a joy to be adventurous and enjoy good food.

I give 4 stars because the fries were not as good, the wait, and price. Other than that, this place is all good!! Service was fast once you were able to make it to the register. The burger was tasty, especially since it was all plant base, cant even tell! Montys is extremely pricey! I bought a double cheese burger, fries, and a strawberry lemonade (sparklingfor the grand total of $22.84 (That was only for myself). I will definitely come back here but not as much. Maybe once every couple of months. The line was long but once you finish ordering, Montys employees offer you stickers and buttons for free, which is pretty cool. For those of you wondering, its right in the Food lab when you walk through the doors to your left, right by a ramen place.

Ok, first time finally trying Montys after all the hype. Burger was DELICIOUS and lived up to it. Is a double worth $14 tho? H*CK NO! 5 stars for taste. 1 star for value. 3 star average. Id eat this once a week if it was in the realm of reasonable pricing.

Pretty good plant based burger. You can very much tell its not meat, but it was still tasty. The ingredients tasted very fresh. Loved the pickles on my burger. The ambiance is pretty cool. Definitely a college vibe due to its proximity to the nearby colleges. Tons of places to choose from inside as well, including beer and alcohol!

Amazing delicious gorgeous food!! My brother and my dad and I went out hiking for their bday and this was such a lovely way to finish the day! Lovely staff too!!! :)

Montys is classic, simple and delicious. However, very expensive. To be honest, I was skeptical because Im one of the few not wowed by the Impossible patty. In fact, I dont really care for it very much. Montys managed to serve up a loaded-up cheeseburger with it that I thoroughly enjoyed. The bun and all the fixings made the burger for me. Also, the shoestring fries are superb and the dipping sauces are all so good. The salted caramel shake is just the right salty sweetness and is thick and smooth. They let you mix and match shake flavors! We got half salted caramel and half chocolate.

Burgers are amazing here! Ive always been skeptic about plant based burgers from the few places Ive tried. This place made me change my mind on that! If I were to compare this to any place it would be IN-N-OUT. The burgers taste similar thats the freshness of ingredients and the fries that you can also top with the house sauce (animal style fries). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone whos looking for healthier alternatives.

I could not believe that this burger was plant based until I had it. OMG!!!!! trust me trust me trust me... you would not even know. It taste just like an In N Out burger but completely plant based. Took family members here and did not tell them and they swallowed the burgers. They didnt have a clue.... Flawless Victory......... FATALITY 👍👍

Best burger, tots and strawberry shake Ive ever had in my LIFE!! Highly recommend this place. The staff were really chill and friendly, and even though its a bit of a tight place, once youre seated at the bar it feels plenty roomy and has a great vibe. Im so excited to go back as soon as we can. (Plus, everythings vegan!)

It’s a good burger (pun intendedhaha. It’s on the small side so I think $11 is a little expensive for a burger, but it IS vegan so I’m sure the price is justified. The fries are very delicious and so is the strawberry lemonade (free refills btw!). Great customer service & AMAZING cleaning crew at the Riverside Food Lab (thank you to the young man who bussed our table 🙏🏼). I’ll be back for more burgers :)

I recommend Montys to everyone I meet in Riverside, its always my late night go to because their hours are the best in the area for vegan food. The staff is always so friendly, they give free refills, and the food is good!

The best of the best in vegan food. The sides come with a flavored aoli. The chocolate shake is the creamiest, most decadent shake Ive ever had. Main drawback is the price. $11 burgers and $7 shakes are steep for my budget.

Truly amazing vegan place. Great friendly staff. Finding a place to sit can be hard given this is inside the Riverside food labs on market street and is crowded since there are other food outlets there.Long wait to order but luckily our family got seated right at the counter there. Simple and easy options to choose and order. Once we ordered we were served really fast inspite of the crowd. We had the burgers with tots and kids meals. You can split the shakes to share which was nice. Overall amazing vegan burger, tasty fries and tots, awesome shakes which made up for the wait. You should ask for the Habenaro sauce which is very very spicy and not on the menu (but available if you ask). Staff are very courteous and helpful when you ask for something. Everyone including kids enjoyed and had a good time.

I wanted to like it......But the entire experience was a miss.1. Wait time was way too long.Placed order at 12:22 and it took 19 mins for our order. Especially when they have exactly 1 item on the menu. A burger !2. Ordering system is a mess. The music in the hall is so loud that when an order comes up you can’t hear the name. So each time everyone rushes the counter to hear if their order is up. After 19 mins of rejection it gets really disappointing. The adjacent Mexican place had buzzers so you don’t have to stand there and be tortured for 19 long mins!3. Fries were great. Loved the thin cut.4. The Burger: just didn’t work for us. It has that strange impossible aftertaste or was it the cheese?5. The Bun: Bun was way to dense and thick. A proper Brioche is super light and our bun was either stale or someone doesn’t know how to do Brioche.6. Grilled Onions- MIA. They forgot the onions - none on the burger.7. The Price: love that it’s Vegan but you’re “Killin me Small’s” - $14 for a double is too much for me. A Double Burger with Fries and an Arnold Palmer $22.Star for the Fries and a star for Vegan.

So yummy, regret not trying a shake tho, have to next time. Great atmosphere in a mini food mall. Friendly staff.

Everything, even the sauces, loved the ranch, are all cruelty free🐱Every one seems to enjoy this spot. The team members seemed happy too and eager to help. You can also grab a beer 🍻 or a ramon dish at a nearby eatery!Prices are a bit higher than most fast food.
