Monroe Street Bridge - Bridge in Spokane, United States
Beautiful view of Spokane falls
The Monroe Street Bridge was built in 1911 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. Its a beautiful Bridge! Check it out!
Love the veiw of the waterfall
I would give this a 4 star, it was great for jumping but the water saved me so...
Would jump here again! Great view. Would give four stars, but the landing kinda sucked.
Beautiful architecture / design and views!!
Definitely a bridge
Nice views
Nice bridge, nice view of the city.
They have little information tablets you can read about the Spokane River
Such a beautiful place to live
Monroe Street Bridge. Pretty amazing downtown Bridge. For pedestrians in cars. Great view of the river and some waterfalls. Good interpretive signs.
Traffic sucks takes a half hour minimum to go 10 miles
Gorgeous historic bridge
Very cool
I was a child crossing this bridge
A great place to watch & listen to the majestic Downtown Spokane River Falls.
Beautiful falls.
I was born in Spokane. I visit the bridge weekly at least. The Spokane river falls rush under this bridge from February to October. The Winter is low flow but still Impressive. Spokane was one of the first cities to have electric street lights powered by the hydro electric plant just above the falls. The plant can be seen from Post street near River Front Park.
Fantastic perspective!
Terrible service, I stood there waiting for a table for an hour but no waiter came to greet me. Ended up just jumping over the railing to get my own drink
Beautiful
The Monroe Street Bridge allows one to start on the south side of the Spokane River and walk east on trails that lead to nice views from different spots on the river. You can connect up and walk on other bridges going north and then heading west and walking the Monroe Street Bridge from this side heading south. Nice views on both sides of the bridge. To the west down the falls and to the east up river towards downtown Spokane,
Nice place for 🚲 rides
Its a good bridge. Gets you from one side of the the river to the other, and doesnt even charge for its services.
Great view!
One of the beautiful places in Spokane.
Cool old and creepy love it
I love the beatiful view, and an amazing photo, just waiting to be taken!! I only hope you have a better camera phone, or camera, than I had, while taken this pic!!!! Please do your part to, by helping to keep the river clean, but also please enjoy, and share a view with a friend!!!!$
Drivin across it many times
Beautiful views
Always the best
Awesome falls!
Great view of the falls and river.
Great drive great view. Iconic Spokane place.
Its a nice calm soothing place you just need to collect your thoughts. Or just stop and take notice to Mother Nature although manipulated by man but to take notice to how powerful she really is. Without her we would all perish and die. How sad it is to see one person manipulate Mother Nature and capitalized on it. And another man can not capitalize on what he has been given manipulate. I guess thats their Civil Right I dont want to give him any ideas but since Im an asthmatic I should be worried about when theyre going to start taxing the air. Despite the fact of all the pollutants methane and cancer-causing elements that are in it. Today stop take notice to the small things the birds the squirrel the few bugs that you may see left and even the damn crows cuz I know we dont pay attention to the less fortunate of our fellow man.
Awesome experience on the gondola. Spokane is amazing!
Beautiful photos of an from this bridge.Part of Spokanes downtown Riverfront park path...also a main North/South arteriole for Spokane from the downtown area
My gosh a lot of water is coming through the city of Spokane, the bridge area is a place you will enjoy in Spokane.
I love that old bridge, especially in its proximity to Spokane Falls. At one time it reigned as the longest concrete arch in the world. I doubt that the newer, bigger bridges have the artistic detail of this one. It is a masterpiece of architecture.
A beautiful place to take photos, Topaz Photography loves using this space for outdoor photos.
The view from atop of the bridge is amazing!
The only bridge over the river in Spokane thats not on the verge of collapsing.
Super pretty, love the architecture and decoration on the bridge plus the history is kinda cool. Love how loud the water is below makes for a great walk.
Great place to hangout or jump off of
Out of anywhere in Spokane The View here is the best and the surrounding areas are amazing
The Lower Falls and Monroe Street bridge are two of the signature views in downtown Spokane. Not to be missed, especially in the spring for the river flows and fall for the colors.
Beautiful architecture and incredibly cool views.Traffic sucks recently.
Its a bridge. Does bridge things very well. Took off a star because it doesnt really try to get out of its comfort zone.
Stunning views of the falls and the river. Walk on the centennial trail under the north side of the bridge for additional views of this impressive structure.
