A great place to relax with children or a romantic date. It is possible to rent a boat. There are food and drink establishments. There are often themed musical evenings.

A beautiful palace with long grassy areas with ample shade. The perfect setting for a Sunday picnic.

To be honest, I saw feck all through the deluge of rain that day but, what I did see was absolutely beautiful

A hidden treasure in Ludwigsburg! You can enjoy this place in many ways:1. Do a picnic and get some drinks with the view of the lake2. Do the wonderful trek to or from Favorite Park and finish here with some food in the Biergarten

Its over 20 years since I was last at Mon Repos and its still A very nice place to visit. Built as the lake side cottage/ boathouse for the Kings of Wurtemburg it really is a must see for visitors

Prince Eberhard built this lake palace for his fiancé and it became the new centre of life and creativity. The lake palace was known as the favourite place where the Herzog retreated for hunting and cultural merry making. In the middle of the lake there is a chapel where the Prince and his Baroness joined together in retreat for silence and solitude. Hence this palace is known as Monerepos - in retreat. This lake palace is now for the citizens a favourite place for walking and relaxing. There is hotel and restaurents that give variety of food for the visitors. Monrepos is a beautiful place for reflection, relaxation and enjoyment.

A very large park with very big parking area. Perfect for evening walk or run!

A magic place which must be visited!!!!!

Incredible place to go and walk around, entrance is free. You can rent boats to go on the lake 8€ for half an hour (4 people max). There is also a resturantant and golf course. Perfect to take your children or take your partner for a nice afternoon.

Lovely park! Nice little benches to take breaks on. Biergarten and a trip on the paddle boats makes this definitely a little highlight in Ludwigsburg.

Super nice walk around the beautiful lake with a little castle…

One of the gems surrounding Stuttgart! We arrived there by bike (but the S-Bahn station is not that far away eitherand were toootally impressed! Nice atmosphere during spring and autumn especially.

Enjoy walking there over and over again. So many nice views. Each special in its own way.

Very nice park to chill and do some sports. The park has an autopark but I would recommend to walk/run/bike. Surrounding towns (Ludwigsburg, Bietigheim, Asperg, Freiberghave very nice paths through fields to this park.

There are definitely other better places in the neighborhood to visit. A humble schloss with a poor dark lake with smelly air and muddy path to walk through.

Very beautiful, a great place to stroll, have a picnic, take beautiful pictures and rest with the family. It is very worthwhile to know the place.

Beautiful historical building close to Ludwigsburg. The place has a beautiful park with a lake where small boat can be rented to enjoy the water. A Bier Garten and a restaurant are also there to complete the scenery.

Beautiful lakeside palace. There is ample parking and has a restaurant close by. Walking distance from the S-Bahn station Favoritepark. Get a picnic basket and enjoy a nice day outdoors here.

This is the calm cool place basically a palace by lake side converted to public park. The apple orchards welcomes you to start with. Lake side walk. Well manicured big lawn and talk trees variety of flowers.

Beautiful and historic place near Ludwisburg. Highly recommended. Parking is free and you can take a nice walk around the "large pond" or a paddle boat. Its simply so relaxing and so nice.

Beautifull oazis :has a big beautifull lake with posibility to drive a little harmless boat 13€ an hour!!! Thats an amazing hour and pretty cheap ;)
