They catered a family meal at the pub when we stayed at Ballyhannon Castle. Great food! Sharon and Claire were the best. We will be back!!

One of the best experiences we’ve had in Ireland. Warm, welcoming environment and the family that runs the pub is absolutely lovely. They made our whole group dinner a few nights and it was delicious. Also, the Bailey’s cheesecake was to die for. Highly recommend!

We spent a few magical evenings playing music, talking, making new friends and relaxing at this great pub just outside Ennis. Highly recommend the staff, the food and the craic!

Im a spanish girl who has lived in Quin for 4 months and Monks Well Inn was where I used to meet with my friends. The stuff is incredibly friendly and they even helped us once to organise a surprise party at their backyard which is cozy. One of the things that I like the most is that you can have a cup of tea or coffee it doesnt matter what time it is. I totally recommend it!

We spent a great week in Quin for the Fleadh in Ennis. Monks Well Inn became the home pub for us. Claire and Sharon were fabulous. We were to get a late lunch/early dinner one evening on our way to the competition. Our group tried everything on the menu, and all the plates offered were delicious. The pub is clean, beautiful, comfortable. We didnt get to enjoy the garden, but it looks beautiful. We spent our evenings in session and enjoyed conversation with our local friends. Now that we are back home in Indiana, we are missing the friends, music and toasts of Baby Guinness! Thank you and well be back!

The Monks Inn is the perfect place to meet with some friends have a drink and play a game of pool. The stuff is so friendly if you need something and they can help you, they will without any doubt.My favourite part is in the back yard where they have a beautifull space to take a seat surrounded by flowers.

The monks well pub is such a friendly, brilliantly run, and all in all fantastic inn! I stayed there for the Fleadh this summer, and every evening the craic and music was brilliant. The staff are so accommodating and welcoming, I would really really recommend anyone to stay here as you are not far from Ennis town and the atmosphere is fantastic.

This is a beautiful pub! Decor is gorgeous. Service is outstanding!! Lovely, ovely people. Id travelled to Ennis but found it too busy, so if youre anywhere near the area Id definitely recommend a trip out to visit. Dartboard, pool table, game machines, some terrific art and bronzes, comfy sofas, and pretty outdoor garden. Feeling a bit pub spyish I have to mention that the loos are great! For me, the most critical aspect is the hospitality, Co Clare, take notes! Experts at this in residence at Monks Well Inn! Ill be back! Thanks Sharon and Claire

We were here for a BBQ the day after my brothers wedding. They couldnt have been nicer. We turned up first with our two daughters and straight away someone was over to ask if the kids were hungry and their BBQ was put on first. The food was fabulous. The garden where we had the BBQ was lovely too. Really enjoyed the evening.
