Monggo Bar & Restaurant in Kuta

I traveled all over the world, and this was hands-down the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my life. I would do anything to go back, but COVID-19 has me stuck in the USA.

Literally was our hangout every night, great atmosphere, great staff, and just overall great place to be, will defs miss the bartender yoga and our favourite friend Tony, they are such great humans.

Nice wooden decoration and friendly staff. However the food was a little disappointing for the price we paid.

Great place with rustic decor. Food was brilliantly presented and was filling. Fairly priced food and drink with excellent service and a friendly owner.

The best bar we have visited in Canngu,from the amazing food to the best bar staff,they will do anything too please,the atmosphere is so chilled and even the customers are the best.Would highly recommended anyone to go there if visiting canngu,you wont be disappointed.

Probably the most underrated bar in Canggu.Love the ambience.Perfect place to hangout with friends, its not too crowded, musics not too loud.

Cool place but dont get the cocktails. They are bad!!! Literally taste like slightly flavoured water.

Very nice Ambiente. I ate a steak and it was not only on the point as ordered. It was extremely tasty as well.Chairs are cozy to hang out and staff very friendly. Prices are fair. Good place for a evening to eat or to meet with friends

..Monggo - place for romantic dinner, with very unique interior design ((all old and good things)- I felt I was in the last century :).. Anyway they have cool music, nice service staff waitress - Eka, bartender, and the man with a red hat on the door and as well the boss - Dino were really friendly, polite and helpful. First night I came there for a dinner and I ordered tuna steak - big portion of the fish with salad, was very tasty, I can only recommend it :)!. And second day I got special grilled king prawns with salad, potatoes and special sambal from Bali, I liked that so I ordered another sambal, I wanted to pay for that, but they never charge me :).. With pairing gls or white wine from Chile. The wooden plats just touched my heart.., so cool to use natural products in the restaurant, well done boss. They have also happy hour from 5-7pm daily 1for1 drinks, but as well after happy hours nice prices for drinks. They also serve very tasty dessert - like pancake with coconut and coconut sugar. They have a security - good guy Bima, lets keep those kind of service and Standart of the food :). When Ill visit next time, Ill try breakfast as well ;)All the best to you 💪🏽

Great food, but ants everywhere and the staff were awful. Begrudged paying the ‘optional’ service charge.

Not good for cocktails I went there to have dinner, we order 4 cocktails, I had the canggu passion (its virginand it was terrible, it tasted like water with some ginger, couldnt feel the passion fruit, just had all the seeds. The mojitos were very bad too, litteraly couldnt feel the alcohol in it (werent virgins). Otherwise as main course I had tuna and it was great

We waited an hour for food for two people finally we asked the waitress who just acted annoyed with us and she said it’s coming. No apology or explanation. After another 15 min with no food we asked for our check for the drinks and she brought it annoyed. Then as we were leaving I asked a different waitress if they were out of what we ordered she replied that they forgot to put our order in. The worst isn’t that we waited an hour and 15 min for no food, the worst is that the staff acted like it was no big deal and we were the problem.

Uncooked pancakes. Inedible eggs benedict. Cocktails are ok. Not worth a visit, sorry.

Enjoyed some happy hour drinks, just not a fan of people smoking at the table next to you.

Great place. Barmen Yoga can make all the cocktails you ask. I have been looking for a place to have a nice drink for 2 km, this was the best. No crowd, just good talk to the barman.

My go-to bar for a chill, yet fun night! Great mix of expats, locals and tourist. Music is always fantastic! Yummy drinks and they have happy hour.

Try to take the second floor table to have a morning fried rice and fresh orange juice, its a perfect ambience, promise.

Ate here twice and both times it was on point! Good pasta but I’d HIGHLY recommend the tuna steak. Staff is really lovely and polite. Ambiance is PERFECT. Very antique/eclectic- I loved it. Cozzzzy

Nice place to chill. Food was hit and miss.The English breakfast was terrible! Eggs dry, sausage dry, bacon dry, and generally flavorless. It was kind of expensive too for a small portion, around $14 Aus with a fresh juice. Add to that a long wait when i was literally the only order.However, for dinner I had the surf and turf.The steak was cooked to perfection, the prawns could have been better. Once again, portion was small but at least it was a good meal.

This bar is a great place to chil. Foods are super, crews are friendly, speedy wifi, and the most important is "Happy Hour everyday."Best local bar in Canggu!!!

We got takeaway and had to throw it all out. Our vegetarian order was full of bacon and the food was terrible anyway. Waste of time and money.The bar seemed ok with lots of people gathering and enjoying themselves.

Unique and cozy place to chill in bali. I love the food and the people here very friendly.

Place was too dark. Order steak and grill squid. Squid portion were really small and not grill but some small pieces served in a soup/sauce base and steak came out medium raw instead of "medium. Ask to have it cook just a lil more but came back well done. It was a simple fix but they couldnt do it? Happy hour price was not impressive for the drinks, not worth it. Had to keep flagging down the wait staff when needing something. Was definitely not a good experience.

Wonderful spot! Quirky, fun and welcoming, a refreshing oasis in Bali with great cocktails (Try the Mojito!and fabulous food and great service! Deano, the owner, welcomed us and we will be back! Definitely put his one on your list of places to eat & drink! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went to Monggo bar for dinner and drinks. The owner Dino was a fantastic host. He was very attentive and took a great care of us and other patrons. I saw him taking care of this solo traveling girl and even offered his staff to walk her to hotel because it got late! Ive never seen that any where.Food was fantastic and drink selection was excellent. I enjoyed few of their inhouse cocktails. Hookah was also really relaxing and fun for good chillaxing bali night out. I highly recommend this place!

Very nice place. Their breakfast was amazing after a night out and so was their juice options. The bar is also great, great cocktails, and a wide variety of import options. The general vibe of the place is quite cool, with the old school signs and old school antiques. The service was also great.

Visited for an early dinner, around 6pm - it was relatively empty. Menu descriptions are lacking - ordered a vege burger but couldnt eat it as the patty was made up largely of egg. You would think the restaurant would disclose this. Tried to pass it off to the kids (without telling them it contained eggbut they wouldnt eat it either. Also ordered a squid dish which we thought would be fried but it was served as a soup/curry. Not that appaling. Hand cut wedges were very nice but a small serving and mojitos were not too bad. Over-priced.The restaurant is quite dark inside and has a dirty/dusty feel. Probably better for a few drinks and cigarettes than a family dinner with the kids.

Awesome Restraunt great food reasonable prices friendly staff and a super cool fit out with many interesting things to check out all over the Restraunt especially the toilet I guarantee a good experience like no other dont think aboutHead to Monggos and check it out yourself.

Awesome spot. Good food and service. The atmosphere is great, Balinese style hut set on a bumpy dirt road that leads to Batu Bolong beach, worth dropping in for sure!

Popular well appointed Bar & Restaurant in the heart of Canggu. Excellent food and drinks menu. Something for everyone. Evening vibe is more for adult enjoyment - staff are well trained and courteous. Definite venue to consider.
