Calle Saltos del monday, Pdte. Franco 7000, Paraguay, Abai
Scenic national park with a large waterfall popular for hiking, camping & picnicking.
Amazing place!
Five star
Monday falls very beautiful. Don’t loss the opportunity to be there.
Excellent place to relaxing and site seeing! Great food, but just a few veggie options.
Excelentein contact with the nature
there isn’t a very big touristic infrastructure and it was a bit expensive but it’s worth it! you can buy some food and beverages at a small cafe with great views (photos with the flower heart).
Just unbelievable.
I love Paraguay, if you come to Ciudad del Este this is must visit place!

Very Beautiful!! A wonderful experience. I was surprised how clean it was.
It was an amazing experience. The cabins that we stayed in were beautiful and comfortable, the zip lining was fun, and the view of the hikes was amazing. We also did some archery, and we would have done some rappel but we were there during winter and so we couldnt do it. Would definitely recommend, especially for tourists.
Awesome! Totally worth the visit
Nice waterfall but be aware that they will charge you extra to get to the lower deck.
Someone knows where to place a swing! Could have spent a lot linger swinging and watching the Waterfall! Just a big kid really 😀
Beautiful!
A must stop when traveling to the east borders of Paraguay.
A wonder....!
Very scerenic and relaxing waterfall which you can take elevator to the base, or grab a bite at the restaurant
Spectacular views
Total rip off they charge $10 for americans which is 3x the price in local currency. Iguacu Falls is only about $4 more and far more impressive. No credit card swipe here either, so if you are coming from Brazil you need to exchange for local currency. Just walk up the road a bit you can see it just fine up there for FREE, unless if you value having the full experience of going on their elevator and steps. Beautiful waterfall though, definitely worth viewing from the street. You can also go to the park next door and even get a raft ride to the falls for just $8 which is a way better value.
The waterfalls are beautiful. However, it’s a shame how they disrespectfully destroyed this pearl of nature with random concrete structures. But the guests don’t seem to mind. The entrance fee is $10 for foreigners.
Great park with amazing panoramic views of the Monday Falls. This park is a little bit further from the falls than the state park with the elevator, but the views from here give you a different sense of the landscape and the falls. One should visit both parks to get a better sense of the falls.
We have be surprised by the place and how the Gov. keep it in a good shape. The place offers you beautiful contact with nature and a place to enjoy the fall view.
Not far from the more famous Iguazus falls this waterfall is itself a wonder. A very powerful jump of water that you can nearly touch. It is just one of the hidden gems of Paraguay that are little known to the majority of travelers. You have to pay a cheap ticket to park you car and get into the park but it is really worth it
I paid 10.00 usd. Extremely expensive, its far from the city. Honestly I recommend the visitors to visit Iguazú waterfalls its a lot better. Im really disappointed.
Calm place not overcrowded like Iguaçu waterfalls.
Expensive entry, but the falls are amazing. Very nice park around. Dont get elevator tickets as the view is good without going down the lift.
Great to spend time with family and outdoors activities
It was a lot of fun. The waterfall was beautiful. There were a lot of bugs though, so bring bug spray if you go.
Excellent views plus great food and service at the restaurant
Such a beautiful place, you can enjoy a meal or a drink near the waterfall and can go down with a elevator...The food is good..
Secluded. Tranquil. Excellent restaurant overlooking the falls. Very few tourists.
The Waterfall is very beautiful. The park is small, but worth a visit. It costs $8 (dollarsfor foreigns and $6 for Mercosul people and it is untill 17h open. :)
Wonderful single waterfall, nice small restaurant, and well off the main tourist track.
Totally underrated. The Iguazú falls are so close that people dont come here, but you miss out impressive waterfalls all to yourself!
Nice place to visit! I recomend taking the elevator to see the falls from the river level.
It was really beautiful. The falls is a must see. It wont take much of your time since the park is for a 90 min tour.
Excellent place. Nature and a amazing view of the falls. For a better experience buy a full ticket
HIDDEN GEM. Since there are the Cataratas nobody cares about the salto del monday but i definitely suggest to go there because is off the beaten track and touristy at all. The nature is amazing and you can enjoy a very close view of the fall. You can easily reach it by taxi from Ciudad del Este. They have opened an adveture park but yiu have to reserve in advance.
The Monday Falls just south east of Ciudad del Este were amazing; if we had not known about Iguazu Falls we would have been very content with our visit! A wonderful experience without the crowd. Make sure to take the elevator down to the bottom; it’s well worth the small fee. For the most part this attraction is left so much in the natural setting; even the trail is mostly just a foot path.
Peaceful place to take a walk, talk and lunch, magnificent views and very friendly people.
The experience was very good, the atmosphere is good and spacious with lots of woods sectors. If you use a wheelchair you can use their elevator to get down to the sector where the falls are at. If you get hungry they have a nice restaurant/cafe that you can purchase food from. Payed parking inside the area of the falls, over all a good experience.
Very beautiful place ! A must see before going to Iguazú Falls
Often ignored by the traveler in the trinational region, these are 15 away from downtown Ciudad del Este and 45 from Downtown Foz. Definitely worth visiting this young sibling of the Iguazú falls. The only downside is that the ticket is a bit costly in proportion with the services and variety of sights you get at both sides in the Iguazú / Iguaçu national parks, where ticket prices are similar, or a bit higher. The comparison is unavoidable providing that this is the same region.
Awesome experience! The staff were so friendly and the repel was awesome! Such a fun experience!
Just amazing but hard to access without car
#AventuraInolvidable Pro#2020
A closer and way less crowded sight to a beautiful fall of Parana River
No tourists, amazing place! However, you need to pay extra to take the elevator!
I finally got a chance to visit this small waterfall.. Which in reality was pretty big and powerful. If you are in the neighborhood stop by.
