My best experience so far st Sunway, Malaysia. The staff at Monash was so collaborative and helpful. They really help you get settled at the Uni. The highlight was the multi ethnic cuisine at the Cafe. It was fantastic. They also have a great vegan collection.

Part of the Monash campuses which are originally all based in Melbourne.This university is one of the few private independent universities which is primarily research focused in their outlook. The student futures department is opened on weekends to cater primarily to potential non-local students.

The Marketing and Admissions person was a total waste of time. My heart sank when she plodded out to us, felt like when we are at a Govt department dealing with a surly unenthusiastic `civil servant. She could only parrot info which was on the brochures (as if we were illiterate). We needed specific info on the medicine degree course, but she was totally blur when asked questions not on the brochures. First she told us there was student accommodation for students for the 3 years in JB, but students could opt for their own accommodation. Later when we asked her about the student accommodation in JB she mentioned, she said no, there was none provided in JB (she probably confused the PJ campus with the Monash place in JB). When we asked if the Monash medical degree is recognized in the UK now post Brexit, she gave us out of date info. Just our internet search answered more questions. So different speaking to the knowledgable, intelligent admissions office person in IMU! Another person named Pinky posted on Feb 8,2022 on the internet, similarly very disappointing experience. Monash University??? No way!!

Computer Science student here, if you have no previous knowledge of programming and is planning to enroll, dont. Go take an online course first because they dont cover the syntax and youll have to pick up the basics yourself. If possible altogether just dont come to Monash, massive workload, youll have to be very diligent to survive here. Schedule is very tight and you get like 5 biweekly assignments for each subject over the course of 3 months so that would be around 20 major assignments average per semester

Monash University Malaysia Campus has two famous car parks named Eastern Monash car park which is free of charge but has extremely limited space, and Western Monash car park which costs RM2 per entry. Ticket can be paid in cash in a metal booth built in the car park itself or with Sunway Pals card. Monash University Malaysia Campus cafeteria price point may be a little hard on students as they are pivate operators and need to make a living, but in relative to eateries in malls, the price is actually slightly below. Lecturers are very dedicated to teaching and research, at least the ones I came across, so please, I plea to all undergrads to try to acquire as much knowledge and skill as you can. Postgrads studies, both taught and research based, are very active. Tuition fees is no joke so please make the best out of your experience here.

Im currently a student in Monash University Malaysia in Business and Commerce Faculty. Im writing this based on my experience here so far and it might be different to others. Ill make this review as neutral as possible.First of all, the amount of workload is tremendous, it might not be a lot if you see it from one unit, but combine 4 units together and its a different story. I experienced burnouts and mild to moderate depression and good thing I realized it quite early (I do assignments and other stuff little by little to prevent rushing things). The lecture slides can be very confusing which can impact your tests and assignments; learning from post-class quizzes is more ideal in that case (my opinion)Second (personal opinion), marking of assignments and test can be a little subjective but I dont think of it that much.If you manage to enter into this University, keep in mind that fees are constantly calculating; you need to enroll in the next semester units and pay for the fees before finding out your overall marks in the selected units which can be costly.In conclusion, I do not really recommend this Uni to people who wants to do other stuff outside learning (lets say opening a business or maybe a side hustle); but, to those who are "REALLY" eager to learn, then, I would say this uni is okay. From my perspective, like other reviewers here, the degree certificate is whats worth coming for. As of right now, after knowing what it is like to be here, Im trying to transfer out of this Uni.

The only thing worth coming for is the degree, if thats not as important, Sunway University is better in literally every aspect.

The admission is useless, kept delaying my application, giving the facts that they have to ask the Australia campus, and my application was delayed for over 2 months! Totally shambles!

As of the Covid-19 Pandemic, campus is very empty but the staff are still friendly and helpful and make sure everything is according to their protocol. Areas are sanitised regularly.

Really a good place for study and working

Not a good place to study.The workloads are too much and they expected to complete everything in a very short period. The lecture materials and lecture videos wont help on our assessments especially test and quiz.

the fees are expensive because they claim that u are receiving ‘australian quality’ education but honestly i don’t feel that u are getting that. it’s not a very interactive learning experience and mostly very exam based so it puts a lot of stress on students because the exam standards are so high but the teaching quality is not the best. any student u meet here will tell u it’s super stressful so if u can’t handle stress well do not study here! library and common areas are always packed, it’s pretty much impossible to find a space to use especially during exam season. free parking is full by 9am and generally parking is very limited. also the campus is small and depressing and the food SUCKS. we literally pay so much to this uni for nothing

Was only here for a short visit during semester break. I would say the campus is overall clean, nice and efficient. There is a pathway called the Canopy Walk, which connects Monash with Sunway University, Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Lagoon, Colleges and stations.

Reputable university. A relatively small campus as it is only a branch campus. It has state of art facilities to maintain a high quality of research and study here. The Autism research centre is one of the most established one in the country. Well known for its health science (MBBS), engineering n business programs.

took psychological science and the first subject is biology for plants and animals???????? what kind of relation is that to psychology and human behavior?????? I was not expecting to do biology for plants when I applied. wish they said A level Biology was a requirement or recommended so other students did not have to struggle to understand the lecturer and plant topics!

Love the environment but some lecturers lack English qualities.
