Not to be missed! Incredibly friendly service. Every dish we had was high quality: tuna fish tartar, jamon risotto and iberico pork chop. Portions were generous. Price fits the taste. Worth a splurge— you can’t go wrong here.

My visit to this charming bistro was on one of the busiest nights of the year in Paris the fete de la musique. I just walked in about 8pm and there were tables. The restaurant was busy but service was friendly and quick. There are a few main meals and some lighter dishes too. It appears to be predominantly authentic French cuisine with some other European touches. Prices are reasonable for a major city like Paris. A starter, main and drink was about €40. The staff seemed to understand my terrible French and happy to compensate with their better English. It was rammed with locals so I would say it must have a pretty good reputation. Although I was caught up by the festival mood it was still a good place to visit.

Excellent true French restaurant, the menu is limited which is always the best sign of freshness and quality, the manager was friendly and knowledgeable which is a rarity in Paris and most of all the veal and the wine was divine. Restaurant was fully packed and other customers praised the Chef. A must visit if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed as they truly cook and have very nice base products, wine and drinks selection.Ps: Very good value for money don’t be fooled by the $ signs, it is a great neighborhood bistro food place not an expensive treat.

Wow, just wow, the food is spectacular! Its the best French bistro Ive ever eaten at in three trips to Paris. Foie gras, steak tartare, steak "bleu" (i.e. extra rare, no exceptions), rack of lamb, iberico pork, baba au rhum, etc. Its all amazing (see pictures). Like most non-touristy French bistros, the menu selection is not that big, but each dish is a work of art. Its quality over quantity of options, and the portions sizes are just right. The menu is all French, no English version. Im French-Canadian and I could translate for my English speaking colleagues, but others might need translation apps or help from the waiter. The waiter is very proud of the food and assumes this gives him the right to be somewhat arrogant. Its not too bad if you play along and take it in jest, the service is still very professional, but also dont expect to eat in a hurry. They were very accommodating to our group and overall it was such an awesome dinner. I will definitely go back. Highly recommended!

We ended up at Mon Bistro because of its location near our hotel. We are so happy we did. Possibly our best meal in the 9 days we spent in Paris. The pork and lamb dishes were exquisite. In fact our entire experience was tres bon. The staff were not only attentive but helpful in selecting our meals. Dont miss out on this place because its not on a main street. It was packed with locals. And even though we were foreigners they treated us like locals.

Excellent dining experience. As a group of colleagues from various countries, it was a great way to experience four or five courses of French cuisine served by an entertaining waiter who spoke perfect English. The place is cosy and elegant.

This is my favourite restaurant in Boulogne. The quality is amazing. It isnt cheap but it is excellent value. Ive never had a dud there.Have the Argentinian steak, it is incredible! All the desserts are insane too, particularly the deconstructed lemon tart!

Excellent food, starter of the day was Saint Jacques carpaccio with truffles, we just all took that one... Wine was good too, even if a little bit pricey, but excellent service and food for Boulogne...

Excellent!! This was our first night out to dinner. Our waiter was more than accommodating. He was patient with my limited French and explained the menu to us. The entire staff was friendly and cheerful. The food was delicious! We ordered terrine de fois gras, fish, steak, fromage and Baba au Rhum. If you order the Baba you will even get the bottle to pour your “Rhum”. Definitely worth going!!Merci, Mon Bistro, formidable!

Im sure the food is excellent... However, the place was closed, so I couldnt really say one way or the other (Mon 1945), so perhaps double check those opening hours before you go. No sign on the door either.

One of the best restaurants in Paris.If you love beef try the Johnny or be amazed with anything the chef suggests.Weve brought many friends here and all of them want to come back.When you return you feel like you have dinner at your best friends home.Make a reservation, any day of the week.

Its a restaurant that refused to accommodate 12 people. It wasnt a request for a single table, we were ready to sit on multiple tables but they refused to give us reservation. Is this how hospitality service works in Paris?

Really cute traditional French restaurant with a small and delicious menus. We had the meat dish and also the fish and two and both were delicious. Extended since wine list and super nice and helpful staff. Definitely a must if you are in the area

Very friendly Brasserie in traditional French style. Good food and you should definitely go for a full menue if possible. Not the place you go for a beer, but rather for a nice bottle of French wine.

Great classic Bistro away from the tourist throng. Also quality wine by the glass at a good price. Service professional and friendly. I heard one waiter speaking English, if that helps any of you.
