Momo &O - Asian restaurant in Johannesburg, South Africa
Very quirky vegan cafe in the middle of krakow. Very nice food and helpful staff
Very good vegitarian food at a great price. Everything I tried was delicious and filling. If I lived in Krakow, I would eat here every day.
Great selection of food at very reasonable price
Sort of a buffet style with set portions of different dishes. I had the 6 portions which was a bit large unless you’re starving, I probably would have been satisfied with 4 portions. Most of the 6 dishes I tried were good, one or two were mediocre. Overall a good experience and good price.
I an omnivore these days, but I was a vegetarian for 15 years and this is just the kind of place I would have loved to have had in my neighborhood back then! I would have eaten lunch here every day! It was great! The service is friendly and the place is clean. If youre not a local heres a tip for you: clear youre own table in these places. Look around for where the dishes go, ask, or just watch other people when they leave.
Great vegan place, healthy, tasty and budget friendly.
Very nice place for fast and cheap meal.
We did not enjoy the quality of food served. The place looks run down and service is average.
Probably my favorite place to eat in Kraków, with amazing vegan food and a nice service
Nice and tasty
Momo is great! One of the last still existing old-school places serving tasty vegan food
Delicious vegan food for a very reasonable price
A great choice of fresh, delicious and healthy food. Lots of vegan options, lots of salads and many warm dishes too.Portions are good, food is really tasty and very satisfying.Plus, there is a choice of delicious freshly pressed juices and an incredibly huge range of tea and herbal infusions. The place is pet friendly and children friendly. And this place is also very good for a quick break. There is a lot of space. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet.Very different from chain coffee shops and restaurants, this place is unpretentious and genuine.Highly recommended.
Excellent food. Talented chef. You can tell that the food is prepared with care and skill. The flavors are perfect. The food is fresh and served hot. I could eat here every day.
Absolutely lovely place - I love the concept. Variety and quality of food is great. The only shame is that the new waiters give smaller portions.
Nice vegetables and lovely chai tea. Delicious Momo with spicy sauce.Freshly squeezed juice! Very good prices
The waitress can’t normally explain the menu. When we finally ordered what we wanted, we waited for 20 min, after which she said that she forgot our order. The lentil soup was good, but the taste doesn’t cost that much confusion.
Cool and comfyAlso, quite tasty and affordable
I love this place!! Food make with Love :Thank you for feeding me with such a good stuff
Super tasty food, big portions, and helpful staff.
We stopped in here for lunch and it was a lovely experience. Prices were good, service friendly and it was a nice atmosphere. Tables were clean too. The food was a decent sized portion and tasted good and was delivered very quickly.
Delicious, fresh food and cheap as well. The “small” plate is actually quite huge. There are a variety of salad and hot food options so it’s actually difficult to choose! The place is small but has high ceilings so it feels quite airy. I’m also grateful to the woman behind the counter for taking my recycling as I couldn’t find any place to put it in the city :( A minor annoyance is I asked to try a dumpling from one of the menu options (I didn’t want a full dumpling mealand the woman declined, saying “We don’t do that.” Huh? Why? It’s just one dumpling! It’s very reminiscent of communist way of thinking, as in, must stuck rigidly to the rules 😒 Anyway I would still return!
I think I went at the wrong time, a little less options from the menu were available. But the quality of food and the warmth and reception was lovely
Delicious choose-your-own salads and masala dosa, which, although not much like a masala dosa in India, is tasty and very filling. Nice room & cheap too.
The plate of food was okay. It’s really simple and some bits are more tasty than others. But the dumplings were, sorry to say it, disgusting. The sauce tastes awful and I just couldn’t eat the dumplings. The taste and structure were so unpleasant. So all in all, not a positive experience.
We were there twice while we were in Kraków. Nice place, cozy, like at home. Tasty food for really good price. You can set a plate as you like it (several warm meals, several salads, soups). But they make some food (several kinds of pancakes, indian dumplingsand awesome desserts. You have to try it!When we were there everything was vegan except for some dips and almost everything was gluten free accept the cakes. They accept cards.(in the photo are the indian dumplings)
Not a true Indian food. But nice smell.
When we stayed in Krakow for 4 days, we went here for breakfast almost every morning, the food is nice but it can differ every day that you come there. You can buy a plate for 17 zloty and than you have 4 different kinds of portions on your plate than you can choose from, or you buy 6 portions for 22 zloty. Its cheap and affordable for a student like me. But the atmosphere is not really nice. Mea by some music than could make it better?
Delicious, good value vegan/veggie food. We ate dumplings with lentils and onion - amazing flavours, and shared a multi grain pancake with spinach and tofu, offered with choice of a few sauces. Lovely, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Will be returning. Thank you!
Great inexpensive food for hipsters but people with diet restrictions can eat there as well. ( If you dont mind the fake hipsters who want to change the world to be a better place, but its just too hard to do.)
I had a plate with 6 portions of different salads for 22 zlotys. Every single salad was sooo delicious.I highly recommend the salads.
Amazing food with lots of varieties. You can assemble your plate by your own what I really liked. Plenty vegan options.
Nice vegan food, especially deserts. Personally, too dark place, the atmosphere. Sometimes overpriced, thus I prefer samosa coocked near by, 10m to the right from entrance. However, if place with samosa is overcrowded, this is the best 2nd option, recommended.
Delicious food, plenty of vegan options and nice and helpful staff. My friend and I ate there 2 times and we were very happy with that decision. The prices are very cheap.
The best food that we had in Krakow. Amazing offer and great taste. The spinach with tofu was so delicious and warming on a cold day!
Delicious! A lot of vegan food including grain pancakes and nice system of composing meal from many small dishes you choose, I love it.
Very nice vegetarian/ vegan restaurant offering various options of cold and warm fresh dishes. Staff is very friendly, they speak English and are ready to answer any questions about the food.
I was rather disappointed. I had the apple cake, which was very watery and the Oriental Spiced Coffee, which was spiced nicely but maybe there wasnt any coffee in it. Maybe I misunderstood and it was spiced soy milk. However, the main dishes other customers had looked good.
Very nice! Staff friendly! Fresh and delicious!
This is still one of my favorite restaurants in Krakow. The food is basic cafeteria food, but done in vegan and vegetarian Style. The staff is always helpful, although slow, and the food is always about the same. You can expect a good quality and a nice atmosphere when you are here. It is very much a hippie stronghold and that is said in a positive way
Offers vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan options.I am vegetarian. I went with a friend who has celiac and a friend who eats meat. All three of us found the food tasty and portions large. Added bonus of some vegan and some gluten-free desserts (and a few desserts with dairy). All three of us could satiate our sweet tooth and appetite!
I ordered nalesniki (pancakesthat is written in the wall 7 min. More than 20 min and nothing come. I went to ask and they simply forgot about me. Also when I was ordering the lady was very rushing me to order. I looked back and none was behind me to order so I have no idea why hurrying. Also in the menu is writing lassi, when in ordered... "We dont have it".
The best place to have vegan food. If you like Tibetan and Indian food this is your choice. I found masala dosa with amazing sambar and chutney and also you can find mono and very fresh fruit juices
Had a nice experience here. Food tastes really good. Portions are quite decent sized. The restaurant looked to be value for money. Momos were served hot and were tasty. Staff is courteous. Speaks good English. Location is very accessible. Would love to visit again.
The Indian food that I tried was very good and authentic. However the customer service didnt seem up to the mark. The lady at the counter kept getting the order wrong and then when i ordered chai for 2 people and ended up getting 2 teapots that amounted to more than 4 cups of tea! Even though the chai was also very good it was just not possible to drink that much. I would recommend the place for the food but would suggest placing the order carefully and checking the bill to make sure its correct.
Wow. The food here is sensational and great value. Family of 5 had some amazing vegetarian food and loved every bit. Definitely recommended.
My soya latte tasted fine, but was probably the smallest portion Ive been served in a long time. The vegan cake options seem a bit limited, as this is a mostly lacto-vegetarian place. But they did look tasty, so fingers crossed the vegan options will expand in the future.
Absolutely love it! Would steal it and transplant it to London if I could! How to explain? First, most of the food is gluten free and vegan. This is one of few places I feel confident to eat as a coeliac in Krakow. On every visit there has been a friendly English speaking server who has demonstrated good knowledge of gluten & confidently guided me to the choices available, which is is most of them. The food is also fresh, flavour rich and plentiful. Go for the buffet option and within minutes you have a rainbow on a plate ready to devour. The speed of service is especially great if you are time constrained. The interior is very simple but the variety of table sizes means it is quite possible to eat here alone, as a pair, or in a group. I have never seen the bar very busy or noisy so it is a great place to read in peace or talk with friends.Even for Krakow, this place is crazy cheap. The combination of friendly service, great healthy food and price is probably unbeatable!
I thought the taste will more neutral but surprisingly various and delicious. The price are normal for an organic place. The menu on the wall also in English. Popular amoung locals, what sign of the continuous quality service.
Liked the food. Had a great supper. At 9pm on a Saturday night the salads looked a bit limp. They need appropriate music four this vegetarian, Indian style restaurant (not loud rock).
