you can get in & touch everything for free.. standing on the terrace, walking around empty rooms & having good imagination can truly bring you back in time.. esp standing on the front terrace/balcony while imagining carriages coming in for a party ❤️ lovely

Just across Molo Plaza and Molo Cathedral. It holds food trucks in its vicinity.Lighting were also installed on the the outside the mansion, it might have a different persona during nighttime

The architecture is grand.But except souvenir shop inside, there is no furniture or any interesting thing inside.Outside, there are just coffee shops and snack.It’s good to see if you are close to this place.But it’s not worth if you drive/ride all the way just for this.

very nice and cozy place, nice place to take pictures tho it is more of a souvenir shop by kultura at this point. very nice place. there are shops to buy food outsidee. first floor is a shop, second floor is empty during my visit so idk if they have plans for it.

Very well preserved and beautiful. The lower level is basically a shop, and the upstairs was being used for an Art Exhibit at time of our visit. On the grounds, a few restaurants and coffee are available.

A place rich of history and culture. They have souvenir shop inside and outside of the mansion, they have food stands. A place to visit to whenever youre in Iloilo.

Twas a memorable experience being there. I was amazed with the beauty of the old ancestral house and how they were able to preserve it. Gets crowded sometimes because it is one of the must-see places in Iloilo City downtown. Food stalls, cafe and stores surround the compound and offers a different experience at night. You can also taste the famous and authentic heirloom recipe "Molo Soup" in one of the stalls outside.

Nothing to know about the former owners of this mansion because it has turned to a souvenir shop. Nice place tho. Great for photos.

The Molo Mansions night beauty is so mesmerizing, the lights, the structure of the Mansion is breathtaking. Plus the "Kultura" items sold inside are very nice souvenirs, something to be proud of. I would like also to commend the welcoming, clean ambiance and accommodating staffs and guards. 👏👏👏

Lovely historical homes in Iloilo. A place to visit and shops souvenirs (KULTURA). Best place to chill as well for snacks and coffee-there are stalls for food and refreshments. Just the Kultura staff...not that friendly

The place is now an outlet of a big local store carrying Filipino products. The second floor is not now accessible and its grounds are filled with small eateries and coffee shops. The facade is still picturesque.

Thanks SM for not demolishing the building and for the restoration works you have made. Molo Mansion is one of Iloilos most prized treasure.The entire Mansion hosts the Kultura store where you can buy local products and pasalubong. There are also food stalls outside the mansion where you can experience the famous Pancit Molo.The parking is wide and accesible. No entrance fee is collected for those who are interested to visit.

The Molo Mansion used to be owned by the Yusay-Consing Family. It was bought by SM which they rehabilitated into a souvenir shop and an event space. One can tour the house for free.The grounds are filled with kiosk offering various food items such a local coffee, burger, and the loc specialty Pancit Molo.Grounds open from 7AM to 8PM.

A must visit when in Iloilo. This beautiful old mansion now also houses souvenirs that you can purchase and take home. You can also go up and visit the second floor for a nicer view of the whole property. Tip: Bring or wear an outfit the would match the interiors of this place.

A great free tourist landmarkThe story goes that the Philippine shopping giant behind SM stores bought this old property, aiming to build a grocery store on its site. However, they were not allowed to demolish the existing house because it is a historic landmark. So, the company decided turn it into a souvenir shop and open part of the yard into a concessionaires stand. In my view, thats a win-win situation. considering that many old houses in Iloilo have been left in a sad state of decay.The concession stand offered a number of good, local and locally-inspired fare. I wish it had more of the locally known food like ibus, suman latik, and puto... with tsokolate or salabat. But what they still offered are great dishes like callos and pancit molo. They also have artisanal ice creams in dragon fruit and blue ternate flower flavors. Only the latter was available the day we went and it was beautifully made. The staff in that restaurant were friendly AND knowledgable... quite a wonderful departure from the uncaring attitude of many service staff Ive seen in this city.The building itself is restored beautifully, with its turn of the century design. Inside, we wish the products were curated better. I am a frequent visitor to the Kultura Pilipino shops of SM and I definitely know they could have stocked the shops better. I also wished they (and the visitorshad more care for the building they are in... some of the shirts were sloppily piled on a table like rags and boxes and plastic were strewed under the stairs. The food shop inside the store also stocked with good produce but sadly, we already bought souvenir snacks a stop before this one.The Molo Mansion offers a lot of possibilities and I hope it continues of open and attract visitors.... hopefully they will reopen the second floor as well.One thing I wished the new owners of the Mansion did was to create a better experience that goes into the story of the house. We were all in the dark on the story of the place and the family behind it and that would be a very compelling reason to attract people... a souvenir shop inside an old mansion is nice enough, but a souvenir shop inside the old house of an interesting family, who happened to be one of the governors of Iloilo.

For me, the Molo Mansion kinda represents the city itself - Preserved Culture (The Mansion), Great food and Lovely people. I commend the manner how the mansion is preserved and the friendliness of the staff. I also love how they update or decorate the "Iloilo" signage outside to keep it up to date and visible. Ive been here twice with my family and weve already tried their molo pancit and the flower ice cream - what a delight! Theres also a souvenir and pasalubong shop inside the mansion. As others have mentioned, it is now a Kultura shop downstairs and some exhibit on the second floor. On the side is Sabor Illonggo where you can try Molo Soup and the dirty ice cream. It is a type of place where you can just sit and relax.

Well maintained mansion from 1920s, now there is Kulthura shop inside. We get nice pictures with a nice background.

Its a mansion turned Kultura Shop. Nothing much really. The usual old mansion that preserved its architectural design. I do love the shell chandelier though 🙂

A well preserve ancestral mansion. A historical site. The first floor is pretty much a souvenir shop with handcrafted Filipino products. At the side of the mansion is a cafe. Entrance fee is free.

This place is own by SMDC now. So thy have KULTURA store at the ground floor. Just to preserved the place but a must visit if your in iloilo province

Grand as it seems. I am not sure whether tours are still held. We went here on a Monday afternoon and the rooms upstairs were not open. At the first floor, Kultura Filipino products are being showcased and available for sale.

Beautiful well-preserved ancestral mansion in the heart of the city.Love the fact that efforts were actually done to keep the mansions architectural and interior beauty with a bonus art exhibit located in the second level. Would make you feel of how life used to be during the time it was completed and what kind of life the owners of the house have. Only downside of the place is the missing ventilation.

Visit the mansion and experience the touch of history. Grab your favorite Ilonggo pasalubong. Now they also have art exhibits from seasoned Ilonggo artist. And ofcourse, taste their blue ternate icecream.Kultura souvenir items are available inside. Best for pasalubong.

Iloilo tour would not be complete without visiting this famous mansion.. its Picturesque and well reserved..love the molo soup which are sold outside the mansion.. and the bamboo bikes which are for rent..

Lovely Spanish era house. Well preserved with lots of good but expensive local crafts and stuff sold inside. I believe this is a SM property the countrys most popular Mall chain.

Nice mansion, simple and elegant.. Just infront of Molo church.. Has shops inside and there are also cafés outside.Expect high prices for the products they sell..There are also bambikes here.

Historical house that is open to the public. The first floor is a kultura branch where you can buy souvenirs exclusive to Molo Mansion. The mansion can also be used as an events place.

A well maintained old Mansion dating back to the Spanish period... The details of the house are very evident and i loved the wooden floors and panels in the 2nd floor. Its interesting to find out that the ground floor has been utilized by Kultura for shopping trinkets and souvenirs. The 2nd floor is also used to display works of art of different artists.... All in all, the structure is there but whats inside is already commercial...

Youll definitely love taking pictures here. Its very photogenic. There are.souvenir shops and cafe here too. It has a good pick. ☺

Its a must see place in iloilo. Theres a spuvenir shop below and mini art museum upstairs. The staff are very friendly, they even volunteered to take a picture of me in their place (because I was alone). Beside is a resto, you should never miss a chance to taste their very own blueternate flower & dragon fruit ice cream, they also serve pasta there.

Molo mansion seems to be a one stop shop if you need to get souvenirs in Iloilo. Wide selection of souvenirs to choose from with reasonable prices. Stores that offer snacks and coffee are located at the side of the mansion. Also there was an exhibit of paintings on the 2nd floor.

Tried the Pancit Molo and Ice Cream. Twas good! The place had souvenirs on the first floor and paintings on the second floor. There are also plants being sold behind the mansion. Some parts are still under renovations, though. The mansion has a balcony that shows you the Churches towers.

Its a nice place to buy Ilonggo souvenirs and food (there are two cafes beside it). Just dont expect historical facts or some sort of tour (that cardboard greeting is as close as youre going to get to an explanation about the houses origins).The first floor is reserved for KULTURA, where you can buy local souvenirs like shirts, mugs, postcards, and traditional costumes. Theres also Sabor Illonggo for food souvenirs and snack items. You cant go to the second fl. unless theres an exhibit so, time your visits.Grab some quick eats, like blue ternate ice cream and pancit Molo at the cafe, then maybe take some photo ops. Thats about it. Theres no entrance fee though, so its a cheap way to pass the time if youre ever near Molo Plaza.

No entrance fee. You can buy souvenir items on the first floor, and the 2nd floor has some events or art exhibits at times. After admiring the architecture of this building, you can relax at the cafe in the garden or take more photos around the area. Its just near the church and the plaza.

A american era heritage house converted to tourist destination. Inside the house sells souvenirs, native food and products, the second floor is perfect for parties and exhitbits, although it does get a bit warm amd doesnt have airconditioning. The grounds are littered with quaint food stalls.

An ancestral house turned to a souviner shop but a well preserved mansion house. Its glorious magnificent facade and structure are in best state. It is one of the scenic spot for an instagramable moments.

I actually entered this place years ago, before it was sold to new owner. it was creepy and dark and something out of the movies 😂 a total change now, the renovation has brought out the beauty of the House. A nice place to visit to see how people used to live in older days.Dont forget to try the Molo soup at the back and the Blue Ternate Lemonade and Blue Ternate Ice Cream.

Molo Mansion is love. Very gorgeous old house. Well maintained. Now its a tourist attraction in the center of Iloilo.No entrance fee and free parking.They converted the house into a Kultura store which is why Im a bit sad because I wanted to see whats their lifestyle before by seeing the furnitures and stuffs inside.They have mirienda spot at the back of the house where you can try flower ice cream, fresh buko, hot chocolate, etc.

The exterior is beautiful and speaks of the grand times of old. I expected it to be like a museum but what you see inside is a branch of Kultura (owned by SM group of companies). Nonetheless, this branch sells Philippine artifacts and souvenirs. Theres a cafe at the back/side of the mansion which offers delicious iced tablea.
