A brilliant place in St Marychurch near Babbacombe.Plays background music of quality and a good sound level never too loud.A live music venue that serves great lagers Ales and ciders.LORENA is an amazing Barmaid one of the best I have had the pleasure to meet.She is super friendly quick on service really approachable and informative too, great tattoos too!!!It has its own brewed Ales Platform 5 Brewing Company Ales.The Coaster session IPA 4%Western Golden 5.2%Whistle Blower 4.6%Also stocking rattler John Smiths moretti  and Brixton Reliance pale aleAs well asFosters Korev Amstel Heineken Kronenburg Thatchers gold and GuinnessIt has a really old feel with wooden tables and chairs and seated areas bar stools too.Dogs are very welcome slabbed floor and carpeted areasWell worth a visit for sure.Enter and enjoy.

Nice busy locals pub showing sport on the TVs around the pub. Has nice real ales from the Platform 5 brewery. Next to the Co-op and bus stop at the start of the shopping precinct.

This is a great old type friendly pub .Great prices great weekend bar music and for sure some of the most hospitable staff in Torbay . Def worth a visit

I had my children christening after do here, staff was very helpful and accommodating to what I wanted appreciate the help setting it all up and the food, love little garden :)

only one own beer on at the moment.Of course the normal beers are all on.Nice back yard away from tourists.A little rough around the edges.

Old established pub. What my daughters call an "old mans pub" which suits me because I am an old man.

Great place! Good atmosphere even at quiet times. Staff are real people, and are fun! You can get a 10% discount card for weekday beers which is a nice bonus. Real ales, are okay, I always prefer a choice and there are more than a couple to choose from.Great for an evening with a couple mates or even a crowd. And fair prices even before discount card, also a large outdoor area which hosts the weekend music in the summer.
