莫夏印度餐廳 Moksha Indian Restaurant in Taipei
Description
Privilege
Such an wonderful and authentic Indian food . You must certainly try papdi chat and dahi puchka. Moksha special daal is the best in taiwan . Loved food here.
MoreFLAVORS AND ATMOSPHERE SPOT ON!✨I had my first Indian meal here in Taiwan, and Moksha was a great experience.♥️Strong flavors from sauces, tikka masala was bomb, garlic naans were super yummy… Can’t expect anything more!♥️Space and decorations were beautiful as well! Should come and try.(Approximately 400ntd/person)
MoreWonderful, original dishes prepared with care. There is a great variety of curries, all with their distinct taste, and a lot of vegetarian options. The meat we chose was all exceptionally well prepared. Spiciness can be adjusted to your needs (or tolerance levels). Portions are quite filling, so it is best not to over-order. The service is excellent; people are attentive and make suggestions, but are never overbearing or overly intrusive. It is not cheap, but also not overly expensive and you get what you pay for. Based on our experience, it is very hard to say anything negative about this place. Will certainly go here again.
MoreI really love it dosa and chicken tikka, highly recommended 🥰🥰😋😋😋😋😋😋
MoreVery fine taste. Highly recommend
Order the broccoli tandoori! It is off the menu, but one of the best dishes they offer. And also healthy!I love this place!
MoreYou can experience an Indian local food here. All foods are delicious and tasty, you also can choose different level spicy. Their staff are kindly and will give customers great suggestion. If you never try Indian food, you must try it once.
MoreBest indian food in TaiwanMust try😋😋😋😋
My go-to dish here is their Mutton Biryani which to me, tastes exactly like authentic "dum" style biryani. The spices are balanced and they serve it with raita (spiced yogurt). I usually order a takeaway but recently I dined in and the service was excellent too. The staff came to ask if the taste was okay for me and when I mentioned that it was a bit salty for me (I eat low-salt), they generously gave me a bowl of plain yogurt (they offered to replace the dish too which I declined). They also have a variety of Indian dishes like Chaat options and dosa which Ive tried on the past and found good overall.
MoreBusiness Lunch Menu during week day is very good taste with high CP.
Visited Moksha a couple of months ago. A must visit spot in Taipei for authentic Indian food. Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection and all at an affordable price
MoreDelicious Indian food! It wasnt too heavy and overly spiced. The service was great and the food came out quickly.
MoreTaipeis best Indian restaurant! Visited in January 2022. The appetizer was both excellent and visually appealing. We began with Dahi Puchka, a delicious appetizer with just the proper amount of spice while remaining rich and delicious. The vegetable raita is produced with high-quality ingredients and thick yogurt, and it tastes delicious and authentic. The Kadai chicken, with its thick sauce and smokey, well-made chicken, was our absolute favorite. (not the overcooked rubbery like so many other places). The dessert was cardamom ice cream, which was delicious and a lovely way to round up the visit. This restaurant is highly recommended for those who enjoy Indian cuisine. The interior design is gorgeous and sophisticated, rather than Bollywood in style. Parking is available in a local shopping mall or close to the police station.
MoreI’ve been a loyal customer here for over a year now because of the authentic Indian flavors. But today, just when I thought it couldn’t get better, IT DID. I was chatting with the owner about how disappointing samosas in Taiwan are because of their shape, size, taste, and the ridiculous prices on what is not even a real samosa. Seeing that Moksha had samosas on their menu, I asked him what they were like. “You see,” he said. And after a little wait, this tray of piping hot, freshly made samosas were brought out. I was SO SO happy because this, my friends, is the real deal. The outside was crispy, and the filling was perfect. Moksha is a high recommend.
MoreBest Indian in town. We can discover many kind of Indian speciality. Kids love it too.Owner is super nice and friendly 😊 , staff is great.
MoreFor me, the best Indian restaurant in Taiwan. The staff is lovely, the food is tasty, the atmosphere is great, and in top of that they have some amazing wines that mix well with their food. Ive never been disappointed there.
MoreThe tomato onion sauce curry is amazing and the restaurant design is great!
Fantastic experience. Despite not having a reservation (which I recommend that you do if you are trying to dine here), we were lucky enough to get seated right away. The wait staff were attentive, but not over-bearing. However, where Moksha sets itself apart and above the rest is its food. Far from being a stranger to the various forms of Indian cuisine, I found that not only were the flavors authentic, diverse and colorful, but also was the presentation above-and-beyond what one would normally come to expect. The Ambience in the restaurant was also interesting, but didnt detract from the experience at the table. This is the second time Ive been here and both times were consistently good. Highly recommend for a date, business lunch or a night out with friends.
Moreone of the best Indian food in Tianmu. Ram and Mohan owners of this Restaurant are amazing by the nature and culinary art too. Thank you so much for accommodating us and offer to taste your tremendous food.
MoreThis is one of the many highly priced Indian restaurants in Taipei. So yeah, many of them are expensive. The decoration and ceramic pots show a good taste of the owner. The foods taste is good but I will not say that I loved it very much. Hence, a rating of 4 stars.
MoreTheres a good variety of vegetarian options on the menu. Their lychee paneer curry is an interesting mix of spicy and sweet. Weve gotten different appetizers every time, but theyre all delicious starters. Even before appetizers, they bring out a literal shelf of complementary chutney: mango, pineapple, carrots, beets. It feels like a refreshing new experience every time I go.One question: why is there so many flies or mosquitoes? The fly catcher was cracking away throughout the meal haha
MoreVery delicious food and different taste than other indian restaurans. to being with you should try papdi chat , dahi puchka . then matar paneer and butter chicken is very palatable. breads like naan is so perfectly prepped . really must try food here
MoreWe went to this restaurant for dinner and didnt need a reservation. The staff was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. With a party of 4, we had various dishes, all pleasing and good portion sizes. We ordered Vegetable Biryani, Butter Chicken with rice, Matar Paneer with garlic naan and Lachedar naan, and Kadhai Chicken with naan. Drinks included Mango Lassi, Oreo Milkshake, a glass of Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. For dessert there was Malai Kulfi. This was my first time trying Lachedar naan and it was fantastic. We recommend everything.
MoreBest Indian food Ive had in Taiwan so far and Ive been to a total of zero before! The butter chicken is insanely good. I had so much naan bread that I ended up in a carb coma for 16 hours. Thats how good it is.
MoreEverything we ordered is amazing. Flavourful experience, and so satisfying. The portion tends to be bigger than usual. Menu is big. Will definitely come back again.
MoreAuthentic and best Indian food so far in Taipei dishes taste like same we use to eat in India . amazing presentation lovely atmosphere with pleasant Indian decor friendly service owner is an Indian personally ask the guest feedback
MoreIt’s the best indian restaurant in town. Wide selections of food. All authentic and delicious. Can’t miss the lamb curry, naan, bread, paratha. Staffs are most friendly, if you are not a fan of spicy food, ask them to adjust the spiciness for you. They are more than happy to help!
MoreSpecial indian favor which I would say, never tasted before. Strong sense in mouth and stomach long after dining. Definitely a visit for those in quest of favors and taste of indian food. Best serve of this day is samosa, which is a triangle shape potato curry stuff delicacy. Sides are great too.
MoreOrdered cheese naan, butter chicken, and mango lassi, love them all! Everything is tasty. The place is comfy too.
MoreReally terrific Indian cuisine, the best Ive had in over ten years of living in Taipei. The authenticity of the food served here, especially the fantastic Dosa, blew me away. We ordered four dishes, and neither of us were able to choose our favorites -- they were all that good. The price was quite reasonable as far as quality Indian cuisine in Taiwan goes. Highly recommended.
MoreThe food was amazing, very tasty and delicious. I ordered the chicken lunch set for 325 plus service. It was worth it! Highly recommended
MoreCurry is traditional Indian style, and the interiors are all delicate glorious Indian type. I like the appetizer Delhi Wada. The crispy texture is charming. Average cost is about 700~800 per person.
MoreAuthentic Indian food you rarely see in Taipei!! Love the bite-sized starters they offer at the beginning. The curry is super yum and flavourful as well. Do pay a visit if you’re looking for some true Indian taste.
MoreCame here on a Saturday night with a friend with excitement to try new kind of food. When we asked the server to recommend some dishes, she seemed like she didn’t know much about the menu. We finally decided to order two curries and two types of bread. While waiting for our food, the server was cleaning the table next to us. And she just brushed all the mess to the floor, which is really not pleasant. It takes approximately 40 mins for the meals to serve to our table. The food is okay, but when we asked for spicy sauce, it takes another 10 mins or so to bring their spicy powder that is not spicy at all. The overall experience is not as good as expected. Probably will not come again.
MoreAwesome Indian food and place! Gotta try and come back more than once!
Love the creative appetizer and refreshing small bites they offered for free in the beginning! Curries are tasty too, our stomachs are too full to digest well...
MoreThe boss (chefis so kind. He makes food based on your taste, ie spicy or not. He also gave me a good kulfi today because he was so considerate.I will come back soon
MoreReally loved the welcome dish"papad in a different style". The food is very authentic. One of the best dosa ever had in Taiwan. Worth visiting.
MoreLast Sunday evening I had the privilege to enjoy a wonderful meal at Moksha Indian restaurant at Daan district in Taipei. As I am not very familiar with the Indian kitchen Ive asked advise by explaining my favorite taste of food. This resulted in an excellent choice of chicken butter curry, naan bread, rice with some extra flavor which all started with a dish I can not remember the name of, but excellent. Friendly people, clean and all for a fair price.
MoreBest Indian food I had in Taiwan. Very rich in taste and used perfect amount of spices in every dish that can make your tongue directly connect to your soul. Every dish was a piece of art. Credits to the chef. The owner was very sweet and friendly. I really appreciate the decorations and the ambience they had created. Friendly staff and great menu with all the descriptions.Every food I had at this place is now my favorite here.
MoreVery delicious Indian food. The owner is very nice and friendly. He will recommend the food for you.
MoreIf you want to taste really a authentic Indian food must visit here 👌, I went almost more than restaurant in Songshan to Taipei arena all are just rubbish with bad service too. Mr Ram and there EmployeeS are too good !
MoreThe taste is good and service is great too, a place you can bring your friends here sometimes :only the seat isnt that comfortable 😂
MoreThis place is so amazing. Great atmosphere, pleasant staff, good location. The best pappadum and naan Ive had in Taiwan. Three different spinach curries and a great selection. I really, really loved the naan, I had butter and regular. I had the spinach mushroom curry and it was amazing, I could barely eat it, it tasted so beautiful. The lamb curry I had was great too, I didnt even need to eat it with naan. I really love this place and cant wait to come here again.
MoreFood was delicious and the service was excellent. We did not have to wait long for our food, I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you are looking for Indian food.
MoreI’ve been here twice—and will definitely go again! Easily the best Indian food I’ve ever had in Taiwan. And there are several dishes on the menu that I had never seen before at other Indian restaurants. The owner is very passionate about his restaurant, and his passion shines through in the food. If you only get Indian food once in Taiwan, you have to go here!We ate most of the dishes before we could take photo—just a testament to how delicious!我已經去過兩次,然後一定會再去一次!印度香味很濃很好吃,而且有幾道菜其他印度餐廳吃不到,比如照片上的餅。如果只有一次機會在台北吃印度料理,大推薦這一家!
MoreFantastic, authentic Indian restaurant, and reasonably priced considering the complexity of the dishes. The decor is nice in the restaurant, but the real treat is what comes on your plate! I asked the server (as I doto bring me whatever way they would eat typically, as authentic as possible. And I received the lamb thali with all the sides and components to a full meal. Spicy, yes, but satisfying and it seemed to work nicely with the dishes!
MoreReally lovely dishes 😍😍so creative and delicious !! We all enjoyed it !!I think it’s local and tradition Indian food, so there are many foreign visitors, and the staff can speak English👍
MoreOne of the few places in Taipei that serve nice South Indian food. Our heat/spice intolerant children enjoyed the food too. It has unique setup and decor which is reflective of traditional Indian crafts. A lot of attention is paid to presentation of food. It had big menu and the prices arent too high either. We are already interested in a lot of other options on the menu that well try on our next visit.

I will definitely rate it 5 and recommend to my friends!!! I love chicken butter curry very much and the traditional roll~! Love it!! We will visit the restaurant again very soon!!
