Mokpo sebal nakji - Long legged octopus restaurant in Reiko, South Korea
An entire vibe. The hotel is extremely clean, the staff is kind and the facilities are well decorated. Not to mention the drinks and food is good as well. I wish I booked this hotel for my entire stay. Also, the location is pretty accessible and located near a market across the street. The market has cafes, bars, restaurants, stores and a mini fake shooting range. Additionally in the evening there are tons of tent bars!! If you want a local experience and stay in a trendy hotel, this is the place for you.
highly recommend! It’s so convenient as it literally at the entrance of the subway station, which gets line 1, 3, and 5 access. Across the street is the famous insadong area with lots of restaurants and shops. All those duty free stores in Myeongdong are within walkable distance (~20min).Room is ok not spacious, but the bed is so comfy I literally stay more time in the hotel than going out.Breakfast is a huge bonus. The Korean style breakfast is so delicious, having more than 10 different things on a tray!
Amazing hotel with great location (beautiful area of Insadong). The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need, very clean and large. The staff is very reactive and helpful. I wish I stayed longer!
Good hotel for the price with excellent location. Rooms are clean and slightly larger than comparably priced rooms in the area with good soundproofing. The theme is kind of urban party for hipsters but saw mostly non-party type crowd during my stay. My only complaint is that the same song in the elevator played for 4 days straight, could use some variety in there.
room ok but bartender cant make drinks right. They didnt k ow how ti properly make a simple martini... not a place for a cocktail. No wonder why this place is dead when everywhere is popping busy.
Booked for 6 nights, got a room on 5th floor (rooms are from 3rd to 13th floor). Noisy neighbourhood. Building construction across the road so noisy from 7am til late. Street vendors are yelling at all hours. Fine if you are out and about but not if you are sick, want a sleep in, or have to work. Asked if could be moved to quieter room at back but only option was room next door (!or at 3rd floor at back and no guarantee noise will not be noisy. Rooms are actually ok. Showers are good. After walking around Seoul all day you want to come back to a sanctuary. Would not recommend.
If you want to stay in the middle of the action in Jongno3ga, pick this hotel. Its very happening at night with all the street food stall. Iksondong cafe and shops are accessible through the alley across the street. Convenient store and subway entrance right in front of hotel. Great location.Room is Marriot Moxy standard, new hotel. Great bedding and pillows. Bathroom and towel are clean. Basic room with great bedding. If you have gold member, you have choice of free breakfast or beer. Breakfast is pretty standard for a 3 star. Nice selection, served hot food as well.Hotel ambience. Very hip and colorful. The vibes does goes well with its neighborhood.
Hotel Moxy Insadong is really a great place to stay! It’s near all the Pochas and it’s very convenient with the subway station just in front of the hotel! Also, customer service is great too! Big shoutout to Jinny who helped my friend and I to get cabs when we have many luggages with us! Daebak!
Great hip hotel in the heart of all the action. Walk outside to restaurants and food stalls with multiple Korean barbecue places around the hotel. Breakfast in the morning is self-service but worth it.
Great homebase for Seoul! Stayed in a double standard (6th floorand while it initially felt small, over the next four nights it became ideal. The pindrop quiet room has great light, interesting street views and a fantastic efficient layout with room for your luggage, a built-in desk (plus another small table and chair hanging on the wall - useful if you need another workstation), plenty of places to hang clothing, multiple outlets, mini-fridge and tea station. The hotel sits right above exit 4 of the Jongno-3 Station (Lines 1/3/5and it was super easy to get around Seoul. The first 2 nights, we wandered downstairs to the multiple pocha sidewalk bars for dinner and drinks, a local diner around the corner for breakfast, and the CU directly across the street for everything else (banana milk, ramen, soju and beers). The hotel has great daytime rooftop views, breakfast and coffee machines on the 2nd floor, a laundry room (6,000 KRW total for wash + dryand free 12-hr luggage storage in the basement. The staff, both at the 16th floor front desk and breakfast venue, were always sweet and super helpful. Truly could not ask for a more comfy and super convenient Seoul homebase and sad to leave!
Excellent location. Youre right across the street from Ikseondong Hanok Village which has plenty of restaurants to pick from and shops to visit. Only a slight walk to Insadong street with all its shops and restaurants and a short bus ride to the palaces. The hotel itself has a new, modern, hip look. Rooms are pretty good although not very big but thats expected for Seoul. Breakfast is excellent! The staff were also very helpful. The called a taxi for me to get to the airport as I couldnt speak Korean. Then one of the staff members helped me carry my luggage down as I had some extra work related bags and waited with me until the taxi arrived.Would definitely stay here again.
Family of staying in a room with two twins and a queen. The room was spacious. The building is also pretty cool looking from the outside. Second floor had coffee and water and a cool Hangout area.Hotel is located literally right in front of the train station stop and at night time a lot of street vendors come out and set up (포장마차).Location is in a busy part of town so dont expect it to be quiet. But that also means theres a lot of great sightseeing and good eats around.
Moxy Seoul Insadong is basically perfect.Rooms are small(ishbut very manageable for 2 people. What really stands out are all the little details like the abundance of hangers on the wall, nice desk, bed, and TV, the extra table and chair hanging on the wall. The housekeeping staff were like ninjas too - whenever we stepped out even for a moment we would come back and the room would be refreshed.Roof has a great view, staff are friendly, I honestly just have only good things to stay. Will hopefully be back!
Do try out their bar at level 16. Very good customer services. Thanks for having me there. Will go back again in future if Im in seoul. Room is clean and big. Insadong is very good place to visit seoul.
I took one star off the rooms because they are very small. But they are impeccably clean and very comfortable. The staff is incredible and while I didnt take advantage of it, it seems to have a very cool looking rooftop bar.The food tents that open up on the street right in front at 6pm are a unique experience you shouldnt miss
Good hotel for a low price in a good neighborhood. The breakfast is good but it’s slow. Sometimes I had to wait 30 minutes to get breakfast. The gym is small.
Great hotel at a great price. The location is perfect to walk or take a train to many places in Seoul. A train station is just outside the front door. The atmosphere is casual. The rooftop bar has great drinks and delicious food. They offer breakfast from 0730-1000 a buffet on Saturday and Sunday, or a traditional Korean breakfast or an American breakfast on weekdays. The street food vendors outside are always a great choice and always friendly service. I cant wait to stay here again!
Amazing location! Right in front of tons of restaurants, street stalls and even a super cute and trendy hanbok village. Nice views if you pay a little more for high floor room.
