Was quite excited to try this place again since reopened, on arrival seen a woman smoking outside, once placed my ordered waiting for it to be ready the same woman walks behind the counter with no mask on without washing hands starts touching the food. I instantly asked for a refund where the young man got very abusive and refused the refund. Definitely stay away as they have no concern for hygiene and no thoughts to following government guidelines during this pandemic and customer service isn’t clearly their number one priority.Update on 08/11/2020 - seen a Facebook status staff are awaiting covid results and business is closed I am not shocked after seeing first hand this business does not follow the government guidelines and their staff do not wear face masks

Place has reopened considering we are in an unprecedented time the chef is posting photos to their Facebook with no mask present and flip flops. Very professional I must say. Hope to see improvements.

Best burritos in the Teesside area! Staff are very friendly and the food is amazing

The food is absolutely delicious. The only thing that concerns me is the hygiene. I go there a lot for dinner and have noticed they do not use the plastic gloves when making up the burritos when the owner isn’t present. I don’t think they should be using bare hands, it’s not hygienic! Great friendly service and quality food but this is my only concern.

I have been to the burrito bar twice now, the food is good if a little strange, some parts of the burrito are hot while others are cold, but that isnt a problem when the burrito is as good as this.I opted for the stupidly hot salsa and found it to be completely variable. The first time was not spicy at all, where the second left a lasting tingle.I would happily recommend this place to others but I am still waiting for my stupid heat.

Finally a place where I can get burritos! Loved my burrito only issue was that they ran out of chicken filling when I went - alternative options were just as good, will be visiting again for a chicken one.

Overall enjoyed it, though it was slightly strange as the burrito was neither hot nor cold, or rather it was hot AND cold at the same time. The rice was hot, the chilli, beans & salsa were all cold (from a refrigerated displayand then it was all wrapped up and mixed together. If you like your food good & hot this may be a disappointment. Im easy, but found it odd. Still, it was very tasty and filing and i went for the "stupidly hot" salsa and found that it was good & hot while not being truly "stupid". Id go back.

Pleasantly surprised with this new burrito bar. Having tried a variety of Mexican restaurants in the UK, we didnt have high expectations going in, but we found the flavours fresh and authentic. The salsa verde had a good medium spice level and tasted pleasantly of tomatillos (a rare flavour to find in the UK), although it was spicier than its American green sauce counterpart. We shared a chicken burrito - the chicken had a good flavour with plenty of cumin and spice and was nice enough that we will certainly be going back to try the pork mole (which was our first choice but unfortunately sold out when we went at lunchtime). They also serve Jarritos (lime or mango), so Mexican food fans can get their soda fix.
