Very good services and food

Nice atmosphere, good food. Quality of the salads and the main dish were good. The cheesecake dessert was partially frozen. Therefore not fresh prepared. Personnel was friendly and fast in their service.

Mancare de 5 stele, servirea de 5 stele. Se mai putea lucra un pic la ambianta tinand cont de pretentiile locatiei.

Had dinner here on my birthday whilst staying at the hotel. The food was amazing, the staff wonderfully kind and accommodating. Presented me with birthday cake and a free drink after our three course meal and all at a price I would pay for a round of drinks in London. Similar prices to what we paid outside the hotel. Highly recommended.

Restaurantul este amplasat la parterul Hotelului Intercontinental, intrarea făcându-se atât din recepție cât și din Strada Batiștei.Interior plăcut, elegant. Atmosfera este relaxantă. Am nimerit într-o seară în care nu erau prea mulți clienți.Prețurile cred că sunt pe măsura locației (nu știu dacă neapărat pe măsura mâncării).Am comandat două porții de risotto, una cu creveți și cealaltă cu brânză gorgonzola, pere și nuci. De băut, două pahare de vin alb și o apă plată. Risotto a fost bun, dar nu pot spune că am fost super impresionat.Nota de plată a fost de aproximativ 200 lei. Din partea casei am primit un mic aperitiv (pastă de măsline, pastă de roșii, icre și pâine).Pentru prima experiență a fost destul de bine. Mi-a plăcut!

Nice place and good service

Was here with a large group. Service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. The decor was old school and a bit formal but not unpleasant. The place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Not the experience you would expect...Service was very good, but the dishes were obsolete...HIGH PRICES FOR ANCIENT REPUTATION...

Mâncarea este făcută cu simt de raspundere dar serviciile de servire nu se ridica la standardul acestui restaurant.

Very tasty food.

Locatia, evident, nimic de zis, interiorul foarte dragut, intim dar totul pana la mancare...extrem de scumpa pentru calitatea ei...un simplu orez cu pere si gorgonzola care a fost uscat, nu se simt gusturile ingredientelor, para pusa doar deasupra orezului, in interior nici pic de gust de para, un oarecare "iz" de gorgonzola dar slab... dulciurile nu cred sa fie gatite acolo, clar sunt aduse de undeva. La tiramisu frisca a fost facuta bine, nu este frisca din comert sau cel pitin nu dintre cele mai ieftine. Cafeaua, arsa, pe fundul cestii "s-a lasat" mult zat pentru un espresso scurt. Servirea ok, discreta, doamnele foarte dragute, ne-au acceptat "criticele" evident adresate in mod special catre bucatarie...pentru un restaurant cotat cu "multe" stele sunt mult la inceput, mai au de invatat mult in materie de servire...Ati ales in schimb bine vinul rosu sec. Cu toata stima si tot respectul, daca investiti intr-un nou "concept", aspect, etc, NU lasati acelasi bucatar ca investiti degeaba...imi pare rau sa zic asta, puneti un bucatar de minim 4 stele in bucatarie sa va mentineti pe aceeasi unda daca vreti sa mentineti 4 stele plus, staful/servirea este ok, mai are de invatat dar este, cred eu pe drumul cel bun, bucatarul...nu. Oricum, per total a fost decent dar nu de 4, 5 stele!

The shrimp are worth a try. Pasta is average. The mushroom soup is a good choice if you are into it.

Too expensive for simple food

I stayed at a nearby hotel and happened to see the restaurant. There was fear of the place because of poor criticism of the place in general and the food in particular. I am happy to inform all the people that I and my wife enjoyed the food very much. Service and ambience in the open restaurant. Musicians played and enjoyed their stay in the restaurant. By evening, many more people arrived. And we left satisfied and smiling. I recommend you wholeheartedly.התארחתי במלון סמוך ובמקרה ראיתי את המסעדה. היה חשש מהמקום משום ביקורת לא טובה על המקום בכלל והאוכל בפרט. אני שמח לבשר לכל האנשים שאני ואישתי נהנינו מאוד מהאוכל. מהשירות ומהאווירה במסעדה הפתוחה. נגנים ניגנו והנעימו את השהות במסעדה. לעת ערב הגיעו הרבה אנשים נוספים. ויצאנו מרוצים ומחייכים. ממליץ לכם מכל הלבבתיאבון.

Heel slechte ervaring. Op donderdag 12/07/18 kwamen we eten na het lezen van veel goeie reviews.Er was geen mogelijkheid om van de kaart te kiezen, enkel een buffet was een mogelijkheid.We gingen het een kans geven. (Voor 120lei per persoon(Heel duur)Wat volgde was een marteling. Droog vlees, koude frieten, ...De deksels van de potten van het buffet bleven ook non-stop open.Geen idee hoe het komt dat er zon verschil is tussen de nochtans vele positieve reviews en onze heel negatieve ervaring.Het is niet meer om terug te komen.

F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!! I was not able to take off for my birthday, which led me to search for a wonderful restaurant for dinner. I found it at Modigliani Restaurant. Reluca provided me the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE in the world! The food was mouth-watering good! My friend and I thought the food was excellent! Raluca and her staff accommodated all of my special needs. They made me a special HAPPY BIRTHDAY treat. I will definitely return to this restaurant. I recommend Modigliani Restaurant to EVERYONE!

Such a wonderful place !!Waiters are doing the best that they can all night so you can have your best one :)The food, the food !!! I had some Italian staters which were a real treat, and a Argentinian steak which blew my mind !At the end, if you are interested in deserts, they do not come bring you the menu, but come with the five possible desert options and you chose on the spot which one looks the nicest :p Pretty neat way of chosing if price is no issue to you.All in all, expensive place, but worth for me !
