A high star venue for accommodation. Best breakfast I have ever had anywhere in the world. Just everything you could ever want. The rooms are very spacious with everything you could need. Amazing views of Yorkshire from the farm. A great location for lots of tourist places to visit. Lovely friendly owners. Top quality all round. FAULTLESS place to stay.

A wonderful stay. Peaceful, welcoming, beautiful.The staff were superb. The room (12was immaculate. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.Amazingly the price was also great.Extra touches like the wine glasses, scatter cushions and flower arrangements make all the difference.Fantastic service, views, rooms, prices and food mean that a return visit is extremely likely. We stayed here while attending a conference. Bed was comfortable, nice shower. The breakfast was wonderful! Breakfast table set with full continental breakfast plus a choice of full cooked English breakfast, scrambled egg, porridge or fish. Sadly for me there was no gluten free bread but I didnt not leave the table hungry! Lovely ladies cooking and serving.

Although the location is good the b&b is in need of some renovation and general tidying up we had a quiet night but rooms are in ear shot of reception so people can be heard... breakfast was ok .. could be tweaked and be great. Generally you get what you pay for

4 bed cottage was perfect for us. Comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Price is very reasonable.

We had a fab experience! The hotel is in a lovely relaxed area, our room was great! big spacious bathroom Very clean, lots of space for suitcases, comfy bed, lots of good lighting and an endless supply of tea coffee milk sugar and hot chocolate! We felt safe, comfortable and enjoyed our breakfast the following morning! I only have good things to say about this place, but if I had to be really picky I would say for some reason theres an odd damp smell inside the hall way but theres no smell outside or in the rooms! Which was strange. And also the water is very cloudy so we couldnt use it to make our hot drinks, we had to use our own bottles of water. Other than that it was really good and i will deffo be going back!

B&B in a farmhouse, feels slightly off the beaten track though bus stop outside for town centre. Rooms well appointed. Overall good value

one of the worse b&bs ive stayed in there was rubbish outside everywhere and supermarkets trolleys out need to remove them makes it look untidy the garden is in a right mess when u look at the gardens on there website that is not what u see when u arrive all the windows need a very good clean and stairs outside need a good sweep the whole outside is just a mess its a shame rooms have a smell to them and are not cleaned right sheets get changed when u leave and u have to ask for things that should be in any b&b. out of my 5 days there i had breakfast 2 times my boiled eggs was nearly raw and all the food on the main table was not covered up so flys was on it the whole breakfast roon was dirty and messy i couldnt wait to leave the place

The room was very clean and well presented staff were very friendly and helpful the only two downsides were I could not get any hot water in the bathroom ( left the tap running for a good 5 minutes the other one was the signal on the TV set kept going off out of signal.

Room listed as "luxury" and "newly decorated with modern fittings". It is neither and none. The room was poorly finished, dirty in places and to a low standard of decoration. Electrical fittings were poorly installed in both the bathroom and bedroom, the outside door didnt keep out the cold draught (below freezing overnight), the window blinds were missing several vanes, and the additional curtains didnt cover the windows. Also, the duvet generated so much static I had a lightning display to rival a tropical thunderstorm every time I rolled over. I have never witnessed such a visible display of static in furniture, I regret not filming it! Breakfast also left a little to be desired, though the black pudding was very tasty, and there was plenty of variety. To their credit, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the water in the shower was very warm, though sadly they were the only positives. I did pay very little for the night, so I can only hope other rooms are better appointed. Bottom line, I would look elsewhere first.

Staff just cant do enough to ensure that your stay with them is what they would expect from staying with you. 5 star all round. This is our fifth stay at model farm and they just keep improving.

English/Polish/Southern African style butchers. Boerewors sausages,T-Bone steak, Ox-tails, Ox-Tripe, Cow feet....yum!!

Model Farm is a place to be when relaxing and enjoying the Yorkshire countryside. The price is unbelievable and you get the most luxurious rooms and free breakfast from the farm produce. Breath of fresh air and the shop full of fresh products. The bedrooms so romantic. Summer time or winter time the place is amazing. Its a proper model farm.

This is a fantastic place to stay when visiting the Bradford area. Staff are friendly and helpful, the accommodation good, and somewhat quirky, and the breakfast and views from the dining area are the pick of any stay. As a party of 7, we had everything we needed at a great price. This is the second stay here, and Id definitely return

Negatives: I paid for a deluxe room for the ensuite, but the bed was far too soft (I kept feeling like I would roll out), the pillow smelled of sweat and the room had an horrendous odour to it, like strong stale body odour. No plug was in the sink. My room was in the barn and when people walked past in the corridor it sounded like they were in the room due to the gap under the door (very flimsy lock too so I didnt feel safe being a female alone). The window wouldnt shut properly due to being broken (But I wanted fresh air in anyway due to the smell). The heating was blasting out all night and the sound of the boiler firing up kept waking me up. Room was approached by climbing outside steep stone steps as the rooms are on the first floor of the barn - the outside light was broken on these, so after dark these steps had to be climbed in the pitch black when icy which was extremely perilous.Positives: reasonable price. Breakfast was fantastic. Very attractive high beamed ceiling in room. Lovely setting.

I only came here for the butchery/shop and it was awesome! They have some good south African products especially decent boerewors and biltong at a reasonable price. I would recommend it, they also have things like Fanta grape and fizzers. A good quality butcher all round.

The farm shop meat pack!! £30 of the most amazing value! I had to freeze immediately as we were going away but this pic is the box they kindly found for me to transport all the way home to the coast. Even hand made giant ice packs to keep it all chilled! Service...you bet!! I couldnt lift the box it was so full so you,ll get the idea of how much you get, bacon sausage chicken breasts, diced breast, pork chops, ribs.. Joints...so much!

I do my south African shopping here and they have a range of products. The butchers is the main reason for my visits. Its reasonably priced and great value, also they have Boer wors, cant complain.

Great place to stay and a regular here. All they need to do for 5 stars is upgrade the mattresses and add a mattress protector!!! Apart from that I have no real issues and enjoy staying here :)

Great place to buy fresh meat and other continental foods. A bit far for the target market now considering prices are a bit higher than usual. Up side is the butchery does delivery on telephone orders.

Stayed here a couple of times (a few years apart), the quality and size of the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast is very comprehensive and high quality. Far better value than the usual motel chains.

I recommend not staying at this Bed and Breakfast. Its very disappointing, even if it is cheap. There was no welcome, just thrown the key and hardly spoken to. Then Manager, Beata, was so rude when my key didnt work. This was so bad as the management did not care about the guest. Then when I got into the room the floor was still dirty and the toilet roll not been refilled, made me think they hadnt cleaned it from the previous person, did I have someone elses sheets??! The room smelt of damp, there was black mould in the corners of the ceiling, the shower only stays hot for 10 minutes (not great for washing long hairand there was mould all along the bottom of the shower curtain. When I came to having breakfast, no one came out to take my order, after 15 minutes I had to go and ask at reception. Then my food took ages to come out. Just an unbelievably bad hotel!!

A real home from home. I stayed there for ten months while working in Cleckheaton and could not have found better at twice the price. Highly recommended.
