Moana Park Estate Winery - Winery in Napier, New Zealand
Very pleasant....we all enjoyed out time there.
Best vineyard of our cycle tour - we would have been happy staying here all day! Staff made our visit really special, excellent customer service and a beautiful location. Relaxed and non-pretentious with fantastic wine - we stocked up! Will be back on our next trip to Hawke’s Bay!
Such a lovely time at this winery! All the wines are vegan and they can even do vegan pizzas/platters. We had the $60 platter and it was amazing! Grace was lovely too and was very knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend this winery more :)
Beautiful setting under 130 year old walnut trees with 80’s music playing !Enjoyed the wine samplingGreat service and knowledgeable staffNon pretentious and laid back environment
We just popped in for a quick glass of wine and WOW…. What a beautiful venue. Tree shaded tables right next to the tasting room amd vineyard. Beautiful.
Great place for lunch. Yummy platters & pizzas.Fabulous hostess Amanda. Will definitely go again.

Great service and great win, .and conversation. Lovely place. Definitely will return.
Such an incredible spot to visit. The atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. I cannot thank the staff enough for their hospitality they were exceptional. There are some neat outdoor games that you can play while you wait for you enjoy a glass of wine. Most importantly the food was delicious and the portions were very generous.
Fantastic wine and food. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be returning.
What a great find, one of those small local wineries that have really passionate staff and make you feel welcome. All the wines we tried we liked and we bought 6 bottles because they were all so good. Food was awesome too and they had some really great vegan options, the pizza was so good and the home made hummus to die for, which was a nice change. Highly recommend.
Awesome food, wine and service
We went to the Bic Runga concert. Bic was great but we feel the whole event should of started earlier. It got quite cold and we left early. Too long to wait for her to come on stage.
Lovely, honest hospitality and fine products
Excellent. Waitress had a beautiful dye job and seemed excited that she had customers. Wine all tasted great, pizzas perfectly cooked, definitely not frozen, fairly priced. Most people there looked kind and friendly. Also, the tomatoes were definitely hierloom. A pleasure.
Great afternoon and evening at Dragon. Great staff. Well organized.
Lovely place for a wedding. Great staff lovely food
We have enjoyed gorgeous vegan platter with some beautiful sparkling wine in the most amazing winery setting. The staff was outstanding too.
Exceptional experience. Awesome service. Great wines and great food. Asked for Vegan options for food. They were so happy to provide. Even had Vegan cheese. Vegan pizza also available. We had the Vegan platter. Perfect! Sparkling Rose -and sparkling Chardonnay went down so well.. we’ll done team, great service and product!
Here 4 Hollie Smith concert nd yes had a great time..cheers
Good wine, tasted at Winetopia event in Wellington. Anna was very helpful and helpful passionate about the wines. Bought a case looking forward to delivery!
Fantastic wine tasting, platters were huge and such variety of tasty treats accompanying great wine. Thoroughly recommended
Had a great time at Moana Park, their tasting was by far the best quality and value we’ve been to in the bay!So cool to know the wines are all plant based and all taste amazing.Highly recommend to anyone in the Hawke’s Bay!
Beautiful view and super nice people. The wine is also epic
One of the best tasting experiences in the country. Everyone are passionate in what they are doing and most importantly they make beautiful wines.
My favourite wines in Napier! Amazing whites and reds - no sulphites and really interesting winemaker!
It took them a month to pay the backpackers who worked at their Vineyeard, when they should have been paid on a weekly basis. This is a completely unacceptable behaviour. Also, they only decided to pay the backpackers after several weeks of being chased after for payment. Definitely would not recommend backpackers and seasonal workers to work here.
We stopped there during our biking trip with the kids. Hubby and I had a tasting and liked the wine so much that we decided to buy some home. They do free delivery across New Zealand and offer 20% discount if you order 12 bottles or more! The tasting we had was moana park experience, 12nzd pp, includes 6 different vines tasting and a homemade bread snacks, so its a very good value. Atmosphere is nice and chilled out, nice outdoor space. Highly recommended!
Pizza and viognier a perfect way to spend a weekend Saturday !
They were able to squeeze us in for a tasting, even though we pulled up at 4:58 (they close at 5). It’s our 2nd time here. Love the serenity of the place & the small, personal feel. Wine was fantastic as well, loved the Syrah. Yvonne took a photo of us & the winery is just beautiful! Great place to come after Church Road Winery, just down the road. I’d recommend skipping Mission though.
A lovely afternoon sipping a $5.00 flight which had four different white wines. The staff is personable and very knowledgeable about the terroir and chalk content of the local soil. The Pinot and Syrah have a cherry finish with top notes of hay which seems odd, but highly enjoyable. The harvest is in April, which is a different schedule for this Napa girl.
I have just opened a bottle of 2007 Settlers Syrah tonight. It is absolutely superb. It has matured beautifully and is one of the best syrah I have had.To be reccomended.
Booked our wedding and were let down by dishonesty and lies! This venue is in voluntary administration we had to find a new venue and stand in not getting our money back. So many people are owed money be aware!
Delicious wines and a thorough tour of the wines by Dan himself. Good and relaxed experience.
What a fabulous boutique winery, focussing on natural winemaking. We arrived just after 1230 and Trevor was happy to oblige and share his knowledge and give Russ and I an informative talk about the 7 wines from The Classic Experience option. We loved the complimentary bread, oil and dukkah and the woodfired pizzas are a must too. We bought 2 bottles of their Rose, one to have with our lunch there and one for home. I must say, not really being a white wine drinker ... I loved their Chardonnay and Viognier.Very friendly and relaxed and definitely recommend . So chilled, we didnt leave til 3pm.Thank you Trevor.Juliet and Russ
Wonderful first visit to this winery. Friendly staff and great service. Kids had giant jenga to play on the lawn and were happy running around outside exploring. Wine tasting was brilliant and loved the Viognier amongst others. Freshly made pizza and bread were delicious.
First stop on our wine tour, delicious vegan friendly wines
We had a wonderful wine tasting here. The wines are superb, the staff friendly and knowledgable, and the port is to die for.
RIPPED OFF AND NOT HAPPY. Went to the Seafood Festival on Saturday. What a complete and utter rip off. Got given plastic wine glasses. Would have expected glass considering the price of admission. The live band was just that. Alive. They were not performing, just had music playing from a piece of equipment. Seafood festival HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! What a laugh. 3 stalls and one with no advertising. Not surprising at $5 for one Pacific Oyster (not even bluff). People coming to the cellar door were able to walk into the festival without paying a cent. Drove over from the Manawatu, will not be doing that again.
Lovely wine and staff! We had a gentleman serve us who really knew his stuff. They had a group coming in so he asked us to come back in 35 mins and it was really worth it. Highly recommend, wine tastes great too.
It took you one month to pay the people who worked for you, who should be paid weekly. This is not acceptable and its incredibly unprofessional.
Its a lovely vineyard but its a pity that seasonal vineyard workers have yet to been paid our wages after a month. Countless calls and messages were sent and no one has responded to any of them at all. Please pay all of us who worked for you at the 75 Mere Rd vineyard from 11 Jan to 19 Jan 2018 and send us our payslips too!
Small winery which makes wines which are less likely to produce a allergic reaction. They have a wide range of wines and offer wine tasting. They offer a tasting of 6 wines. It does have a toilet. Friendly staff.
Loved the wines, but can buy them cheaper in the Bottle shops
Great spot to enjoy a tasting. Unlike some other vineyards in the area its open seven days a week so its perfect if youre visiting mid-week.Tasting room has a large outdoor area where you can sit and take in the surroundings while also enjoying a glass of Moana Park wine.Should be on the list of anyone visiting Hawkes Bay.
Excellent tasting experience, small eco friendly winery.
Worth a stop in. Trevor our wine tasting expert served up three glasses on the table before we even got out of our car. He sat with us there, shared his knowledge about the wine and the vineyards ecological practises. We tasted many wines. He was patient while we shared a few stories. The experience was excellent. Each wine had its own distinct taste. We enjoyed them all.
Terrible. Bought expensive bottles of SVR, Estate and Crush Pad series wine. They all tasted the EXACT same. My many years of wine tasting experience leads me to believe they are the SAME wine - i.e. fake bottling and packaging.
Wonderful visit today with outstandingly friendly and knowledgeable service from Gemma. We have not received such attention and generosity from a Vineyard cellar for a long time.
Fantastic wine and port, very good cellar door experience with winery owners providing great service. Highly recommended.
