Good Japan restaurant.
The ambience is very relaxing, warm and dark, and the food is excellent, fine dine
I’m not even gonna lie this restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants cos the food is always fresh reception is nice , workers are friendly, when am free I always visit this restaurant no matter how far it it. Plus my aunt celebrated her birthday here too.❤️🥰💕.
We really enjoyed our time at this restaurant. We tried so many things on the menu. Everything was good.Friendly service.
Solid japanese food lasts another century!
One of the best Teppanyaki restaurants in Dubai. Thanks chef, the food was delicious
Excellent food. Friendly staff.
Food was very tasty but all seafood was overcooked.
Good value set meal. Nice but a bit heavy on the soya sauce for me.
Nice food and nice service. Slightly ove price with some items.
One of the best asset of the complexe. Amazing japonese food.
Best Japanese restaurant did I try in Dubai in 3 years!!! Service Top, Food autentico Japo, TOP
The restaurant was not upto standard. 2 star rating is also more for the servjce they provide. Management should go to other japanese restaurants in city such as marriott or le meridian to see the difference.
This place is a good example of fancy yet traditional. They have a wide selection of Japanese food (though youd only be looking at half the menu if youre looking for halal foodincluding Bento boxes, set menus, and Teppanyaki. The live cooking was a great experience too, but the prices are a bit too expensive.Would recommend as a once-in-a-year experience with friends or family.
I’ve been coming here for years and can never get enough, the prawn tempura and the “toba” teppanyaki set are my favourites! The staff are so lovely and I always enjoy coming here and seeing the teppanyaki cooking. When we come as a group it’s best to get a private room and it’s really comfortable and fun! Great for celebrations. Their green tea is also delicious 😊!
We were very disappointed with the experience. We went here for my birthday. The chef barely spoke. After some coaxing he shared a few words. The main show was in the last 10 minutes. The prices were exorbitant for what it ended up being. The food was good but hardly a teppanyaki experience. We may as well have eaten at a regular table.
Went in for a quick business lunch and opted for the noodles plus rice combo offered during lunch time on weekdays. The service is quick.Liked the fresh fish in the mini Chirashi but the sushi rice didnt add in taste..The main dish was the Miso Ramen noodles. The pork in it was delicious and the miso soup was a good carrier but the noodles should have been done better as was not able to eat them..The decor is subtle and in line with a Japanese place.
Great experience with live cooking 🍳
Great food. Great service. All the crew helpful. Bit pricey for some items.s o the .enu. for example : takoyaki 7 pieces each 10 AED ( 3 times usual price). Non alcoholic drinks bit expensive ( al.ost 40 AED). Other than that all good
Thanks Chef for a great first teppanyaki experience! Very considerate and helpful, the food was succulent and perfectly cooked.. my daughter loved it!There were no staff at the door and service otherwise was slow.
The prawn tempura is one of the best in Dubai. Recommended dishes: spicy tuna sushi, teppanyaki prawns and beef.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, probably best japanese in town. Outstanding service and very efficient and kind staff, big thanks to all of them, with Gina managing and having an eye on everything.
One of our favourite and great restaurant. Even though we didn’t get the teppanyaki table and were upset after making a booking earlier in the day. However, the waitress Gina, made up to us by ensuring everything is delivered quickly at the regular tables. Food was exceptional and excellent.
5/5 from all sides. Amazing ambiance, super tasty Japanese food & friendly staff. Will be definitely back.
To someone who hasn’t been to the hotel for last 1 year the traffic situation is chaotic and lot of diversions , keep a close eye for hyatt regency signs or you would have to take a massive detour. All due to palm deira connection roads being built and construction in area.Great Gyoza and the chicken teriyaki platter and pretty amazing sushi , and really really caring staff , took care of my seafood allergy note and suggested food accordingly.Would visit very soon again.
We came for teppanyaki and we had it.We took set menu and we were not disappointed. When it came to dessert I wanted to taste 2 ice cream scoops and I was told "sorry Sir, but 1 only".This is not commercial at all.Anyway food was good.
Nice teppenyaki tables with private room.. krishna the chef was very warm and food was also nice. Need to drive all the way out there , but out of the city hustle.. peace ful and quiet ambience.
Great sushi and staff! The value for money is there, where the quality of the product and the standard is totally noticeable.I’ve been a few times and will come back. It’s a nice little Japanese traditional style restaurant, that doesn’t fail.Highly recommended 🙏
very clean, the teppanyaki was very nice and entertaining. and we got a lovely caoe for our anniversary.
I imagine that this place is underrated. Sure, compared to the rest of Dubai it first feels like you’ve stepped back in time, but the staff were great, and the food was surprisingly really good. I would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area, but won’t drive all the way out.
Good food combined with great service , although the staff has changed but the spirit hasnt and it still is the best authentic and one of the oldest japanese restaurant in dubai. Have been there so many times but cant recall if I was disappointed on any occasion. Keep it up!
Ive been looking for something unique, not just to eat and leave, so i stumble upon live cooking and i love japanese cuisines. Miyako is the place to be. It was indeed a great experienced, good ambience, and service is i also customized the sushi and Sake which they recommend is definitely must-try! amazing
Miyako - probably my all time favorite since the time I got introduced to Japanese food. And being located at the Hyatt Regency in Dubai is an added perk I look forward to when dining there. The service has always been impeccable and the ingredients fresh. And the Teppanyaki experience is always a feast for the eyes prior to gratifying the stomach. #YUMMYINMYTUMMY 😁
TWO THUMBS UP FOR THIS RESTAURANT!! the food was scrumptious! my brother & I ordered: buta kimchi, buta shiogayaki and champon and we enjoyed and savored every last bit of it. The food were perfectly seasoned and the meat was so tender. The matcha ice cream was so smooth and creamy. Aside from the food, the staff were superb. The service was so fast and the crew was really friendly and welcomed us with all smiles. Special mention to Ms Gina the manager & Elina who were really accomodating and made sure that we enjoyed our first time experience at Miyako.. will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
A sensational experience, this place is incredible - proper backstreet Japanese food, amazing service and even better Sake.A favourite in Dubai!!
Visited on a Saturday evening with a friend and OH what a delight!Decent number of guests but not crowded. We were immediately greeted by Eugina with a warm smile and seated at our choice of spot. Pleasing my limited understanding but eager appetite, she guided us through the menu. The service was quick and food was a relish in the warm ambience of the restaurant. The severs made sure we enjoyed the food and wine throughout the evening.Props to Elina for recommending tea ice-cream. That really made our dinner a happily-ever-after.Domo Arigatogozaimasu..!
Great cooks, waitresses, and waiters. This place beats all the others here at the Hyatt Regency Dubai. My tip is the spicey seafood soup. So hearty and flavorful. Staff, impeccable. Couple next to us having hibachi. Nice people,Fun being here.Thank you all for a wonderful evening. Once again, out waitresses is fabulous.
Definitely the best Japanese Resturant in Dubai have been coming here over 15years only keeps getting better out standing restaurant on the higher end but as anything you pay for what you get. Highly recommended will definitely enjoy and want more.
Lovely! Lucky us we went there at about 2.30pm and there wasnt a crowd of customers. Great food, professional staff, amazing interior design. We used entertainer and the price we paid was perfect for such a 5 star place. Id definitely visit it again. Especially because all staff were very good with my baby and they talked to her 🙈 recommended !!!
I like their unagi and uni rice , amazing!
Absolutely loved this place. Authentic Japanese cusine, lovely ambience, and terrific staff makes it a wonderful experience. Everything that we ordered was terrific, Udon and soba noodles, with soup. Tempura shrimps, and sushi which was just so fresh!
The best hotel and really enjoy stay in this hotel. I wikl be back soon
There are only a few Japanese restaurants in Dubai worth going to, and Miyako is one of them. In fact, I would even say it’s probably #1 in terms of authenticity, taste and value. The only con is that it’s heavy traffic coming this way from downtown, so this is only a weekend thing for me.
The oldest and arguably one of the best Japanese restaurants in the UAE.
Its amazing to be able to enjoy Japanese food in Dubai. The atmosphere was good and the service was satisfactory. Food is good at a low price. But I was sorry because the pork that I ordered was too tough. Everything was fine except that. I already want to go eat again.
Real authentic Japanese food I tasted so far after Kyoto trip. Will come back for sure!
The worst I’ve ever had. Value for money is very low. Sushi is double as any where else with o better engridients. We got also teppanyaki, so we sat in front of kitchen and were able to observe the whole thing —> red marks for hygiene and cleanliness. Noodle Soup was very hot and no taste at all. In general very expensive and very bad experience.
It’s rare that a restaurant completes 30 years in Dubai. It is probably the first fine dining restaurant to last this long. The remodel will ensure that it stays around for the next 30 years! I would recommend Miyako to all Japanese food fans!
Had Teppanyaki dinner here but it was subpar.
Great Japanese food.. authentic and beautiful design.perfect for small groups. Not recommended for large groups because the service deteriorates.
