In a modern building within a commercial area, this upmarket hotel off National Route 157 is a 5-minute walk from Omicho Market, a 16-minute walk from Kanazawa Castle and 2 km from Kenroku-en, a renowned landscaped garden.Refined rooms come with flat-screen TVs, minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking equipment. Suites add separate living rooms with sofabeds. Wi-Fi is available.Amenities consist of a polished restaurant and coin-operated laundry facilities, as well as gender-segregated indoor bathhouses offering panoramic views of Kanazawa Castle. All public areas feature contemporary works by local artists.
Everything was nice. The view from my room, service, cleanliness, and breakfast (optional). Close to the major sightseeing places. Thank you very much to all the staff who helped me!
Location, price, cleanliness, public bath - everything was great. I have stayed in many different hotel chains but I will definitely choose Mitsui garden from now on.
Excellent hotel! Great price and amazing hospitality given the price, proximity to tourist attractions and also bus stop to kanazawa station. My personal favourite was the roof top public bath, very nice after long day out. The smart tv in the room also indicates busy or crowded level of the bath so you can go down when you feel comfortable.
There is the most wonderful scent when you first walk in the door. The public bath is fabulous, if a bit hot for my liking. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I wish the rear I/O on the tv were more accessible, but I made do. This is now my top choice for Kanazawa.
Heres one of the greatest hotel in Kanazawa. Especially breakfast is fantastic!
Great hotel. Especially the Japanese bath on lvl 13 was outstanding! Room size, cleanliness, service and location left nothing to be desired for.
Pretty new hotel, have larger rooms available. All non smoking, very clean and comfortable! Service was excellent! They made dinner reservation for us before we got there. Walking distance to the market.
Good Service, staff are so nice and helpful; also can speak multi languages. The restaurant is good too. Over all feel warm, great and comfortable.
Elegant rooms yet still economical. I miss the pure buckwheat pillows though. Best part is their breakfast buffet. It showcases Kanazawa local cuisine and ingredients. From local root crops to various teas. Its far cry from the usual cuisine you see in Tokyo. Highly recommend stopping by Kanazawa even just for a day.

Very spacious room, well maintained. Wonderful service. And really enjoyed the Japanese bath on the 13th floor. The breakfast buffet is really superb. The best
Conveniently located along the Kenrokuen Shuttle route. A daily shuttle bus pass can be purchased at the front desk for ¥500. The restaurant offers an amazing shabu shabu experience with Noto beef or Noto pork. Definitely a must try! Breakfast buffet offered a great selection of local cuisine using local ingredients. They also offer selection of Western breakfast items. Only issue was that the parking is located about a 5 min, but there is a temporary loading area behind the hotel.
Utterly disappointing. For a 4 stars I expected better. There are loads of small details that make the experience frustrating / disappointing. If the breakfast is good, it is not mind-blowing and some of the food is not particularly good (pastries or juices for instance). Hence making the ~1800 yen pp a bit difficult to swallow. In a regular room, there wont be enough space to open a suitcase nor will you find shelves to tidy your clothes. Merely a few hangers. If it ever rains and sightseeing is made difficult, dont expect enjoying the premises, there is no bar, no lounge and no "social" area. Just your (dullroom. The lounge /bar of the nearby Share Hotels is in that regard perfect for that and where we ended up spending a lot of time. And finally, if you fall for the nice pictures of its onsen, be warned that yet again, you wont be able to enjoy it whenever but only between 6-9am and after 3pm. Ah, and be sure to be given a white card if you are a woman and a brown if you are a man, you will otherwise be stuck in front of the onsen and will obviously have to go the reception in your pajamas asking for a new card. Not a big deal, but frustrating. Again.
Very new very clean hotel. The triple room we stayed was quite spacious and came with table and sofa. Bathroom has a large bath tub, equipped with two basins. Room aircon was sooo quiet that we cant even hear it. Comfortable bedding. Very pleasant stay. Thank you!
Wonderful hotel in a great location. It is close to a great public market and the Kanazawa Castle park. There is a Japanese style bath on the top floor of the hotel which is great for soaking my tired body after a full days outing. There is also a coin laundry in the hotel, and it provides laundry detergent. Well exceeded my expectation because the nightly rate was so good.
Had a lovely stay at this hotel for three nights. Very clean and comfortable rooms with an onsen on the top floor. Would absolutely stay here again.
Staff were excellent and spoke very good English. The rooms were generous in size and spotless, top floor onsen was very clean and relaxing, self service clothes washing and drying facilities available, good location to Kanazawa Castle and Garden. I left behind something in the room, called them the next day and they were more than happy to post it to my next hotel on a next day postal service. So easy! The only small gripe was that the washing machines were an all in one unit so clothes never came out 100% dry. Apart from that I couldn’t fault the hotel!
Great location for the castle and gardens, the right price, attentive staff and thoughtful design. Didnt feel like a 3 star hotel at all. If youre coming from the station its walkable, but the cabs are cheap.
Basic business hotel, centrally located and within walking distance from all local attractions (Omi-cho Market, Kenroku-en garden, Kanazawa castle, Geisha and Samurai districts). Buffet breakfast is a good value.
New modern hotel with no own parking. Overall the stay was ok even if there was some misunderstanding with reception as they didnt liked that we stopped the car in front of entrance for just drop suitcases (like all taxi usually do in Japan), making it longer and troublesome. Not a great idea to use carpeting as we was welcomed in our room by a small ant running happily on the floor.
13th floor bath with mountain views is worth the price alone, the pajamas and stationery make it even better. Room was efficient and clean, and bed was comfortable. All very pleasing.
Modern hotel, very comfortable with large rooms and good facilities. We didnt eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely. Very good value hotel.
The location is close to fish market, a brand hotel. Very beautiful with orange smell in the air everywhere. It is relaxing. Staff are polite and detailed. Proactively to serve customer. ( they help us for a couple pictures !The bath with a sky view, it is wonderful hotel in a city area.
