Best stay in Valparai, excellent view from premium room balcony

I would like to thank our host Benjamin sir and his staff for being so caring throughout our stay..The rooms are clean and the sound of gushing stream gave a extra joyous moment..Will definitely come back soon!!

If you want peaceful stay for one or two day with fantastic balcony view then go for Misty Creek. We took for a day and it was great .Room - 4/5Service - 4/5Balcony view - 5/5Washroom - 5/5Parking - 5/5Wi-Fi- 3/5Price 3/5Note : I think no other hotel having a balcony with a great view. We really loved it.

Good Rooms.Nice staffs.Located within Town limits...

All the rooms have a balcony so that we can have a glimpse of nature surrounding us. The view was really awesome. The service was very good. They provided hot coffee whenever we asked as per our requirement. The complimentary breakfast was also very good but the restaurant was far off from our rooms

Last Month we stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. It was really good experience with scenic view. Our room was deluxe with good view point from balcony. Room is clean. Geyser, parking and Wifi facility excellent. But you have to order food from outside. The service boy will get you for that.Overall it was awesome experience as the weather was foggy . Note that pets are not allowed .Recommended for family and bachelors who desperately needed break. The weather was far far better than Ooty or Kodaikanal or Munnar. Everywhere Scenic view point. Must visit Thalanar view point. Entry fee 100 per person and 100 Parking charges.

I had stayed at the property for 3 days ( due to some training purpose and I loved this place so much that I ended up staying one more day . The view from the balcony is so beautiful. Morning begins with chirping of birds and melodious song of whistling thrush. A lot of wildlife can be sighted in and around the property .Inside the property I got to see so many different types of moths . Also this place can give you very good sky sightings. During my stay I had awesome views of Saturn and Jupiter.The rooms are clean and tidy and very spacious .The owner , Frank is a very humble and down to earth guy. Had amazing bonding with him during the stay and got to knw alot about wildlife in Valparai . Also had nice time with Vijay and Vignesh who help Frank at the homestay.A must go to place in Valparai. Definitely coming again Frank to explore the wlidlife of Valparai.....thanks alot for such a lovely time during my stay

We stayed in the premium room for a night. It was worth the money for just the view from balcony. Homestay has adequate parking for 4 cars. Decent room service and it was a nice, genuine interaction with owner Mr Benjamin. A recommended place to stay on vacation.

Worth for budget with a complementary breakfast and a room with a view 😍& has a good parking space also

Hotel was good and landscapes were beautiful around the hotel. Price were reasonable for 4 people they charge 2500 including complimentary breakfast.

Front side looked like a normal lodge. But it had rooms with great views. Please check with them if the rooms with river view is available before booking. Costed very decent around 2k for a big room that can easily accommodate a family of 4. Had gated car parking.The hotel is located right at the end of Valparai town, so when you see from the balcony, busy Valparai town lies to your right and plantation and hills to your left and a river flows right in front of you.Hotel was clean and bathrooms decent. Had hot water for bathing and drinking water was given. The helper was very accommodative, bought food. Order food before 8.45 or 9 or the restaurants wil be closed soon.

This stay was very beautiful viewpoint in the room and the room services was very nice services and the parking slot also safe for cars and bike.overall must try stay.

Home away from home. Fresh towels and sheets, Cozi blanket, clean toilets, clean rooms, nice and reliable attenders.Cannot ask for anything more.My three days stay went off running like 3 hrs.The local guide Mr Frank had arranged was just too good.If it is Valparai, I strongly recommend Misty Creek.

If you plan a visit to Valparai and in need of an pleasant accommodation with best views and in decent locations then you must visit Misty Creek, I would highly recommend this property. The property is located on an uphill with amazing view of the surrounding tea estates. The property is decently close to the town center yet one can have the calm and serene environment at this property. Rooms are very comfortable to stay.We have visited during March 2021 and that was one of the memorable trips we ever had. The views from the room were amazing, specially dont miss to catch the early sunrise. It is a pleasure to watch.I must appreciate Mr. Frank for his hospitality. Sir, take a bow, he is a man with abundant knowledge about local places and he also got good contacts in and around and also sorted the necessary permits whilst lockdown.The property has good parking space available for your cars. Although the property doesnt have an in-house restaurant, trust me whilst our stay Mr. Frank had arranged food from the locals at very reasonable prices and all of them tasted heavenly.So, without further ado, contact Mr. Frank and he shall take care of the rest.

Nice view of Tea Estates and River...Its was raining while reach there....Room attendant was helpful and bought tea for us... Room was big and had all basic amenities including free high-speed internet, 24 hour hot water, food delivery....Owner Mr. Frank very supportive...

Nice view from the room. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Staff could learn a bit of English though. Overall nice experience.

Rooms with the most beautiful view. Clean rooms, fresh linens and towels..and they ensure to check with us regularly on requirements if any. Food orders taken and delivered promptly. A days breakfast gave a bad experience while the owner ensured to delight us with complimentary dinner.

Good place to stay. The service was excellent and the boys took care of literally everything for us. The view from the room was amazing. We had to climb down to get to the rooms and the stairway was a lil narrow. Otherwise its a good place to stay with your family and economical too

I stayed at Misty Creek during February 2020 with my friends. The rooms were very clean and the service was very good. Especially the view from the balcony looking onto the valley was awesome. The owner Frank is a very friendly person and he gave us guidance about sightseeing and the staff were very helpful too. Looking forward to going to Misty Creek again.

Great place to sit back and relax. If youre lucky you can get the rooms with balcony and enjoy nice view of tea plantation and a flowing river. Rooms are good, neat and tidy. And the host is a very humble guy.

This hotel is in the main town valparai. We Selected this after seeing so many positive reviews and it did not disappoint. The place is not hard to find and its just opposite to Horeb Marthoma Chruch which is a small Chruch. There is private parking space for more than 3 cars and a few 2 wheelers. The rooms are not big but neat and almost every room has 2 beds. Bathrooms are decent as well. There is a table and a couple of chairs in each room which is also good. Everything normal and good so far and now comes the best part of the stay, the balcony. The view from the balcony is awesome and you can sit and gaze at it all day long. Note: the view is good from every balcony from all the floors, but the top 2 floor balconies are the best of the best. The price for the rooms are absolutely fair and you would not be asking discounts. Our room boy Mr. Ramkumar was very helpful and he was available for service swiftly. Mr. Frank Benjamin the owner was very helpful and gave tips about sight seeing locations. Nadumalai river is only 200 meters away from the hotel and taking bath was blissful as anyonw can do so. For breakfast, lunch amd dinner there is a hotel less than 100 meters away and it was good (Krishna Inn). A superb experience and i would recommend this specially for the aswesome view it comes with. Its very good place for the calm stay.View is very good from the balcony. It will be very nice if the rooms tidiness is improved.

The drive to the town from pollachi is awesome! The room we have checked in is well maintained having nice view of tea plantations. Three stars because of arrogance of property owner Frank Benjamin.

A superb place to hang on in Valparai with gorgeous outside view from the room. Rooms are clean, affordable, neat and special mention for well behaved personnel and nice breakfast.

I just loved the view from my room, we booked a room in the second floor which has private balcony, the room was neat and clean..food was ok..had a very comfortable stay.

The place looks ok but the rooms are good. The price range from 1500 to 2500 a night. They are clean and well maintained. Even the person who runs the place is very nice and polite. The view from the room is also really pretty. The place has covered parking that can easily accommodate a car.The weather is cool and pleasant. This is in Feb when lower areas are already hitting temperatures of 30 degrees. The drive up is a complete hill drive with around 40 hairpin turns, so caution while driving is best.

Best place to stay @ valparai.. Rooms at top floor are very good to enjoy the stay. Frank is very friendly and gave right suggestions. Good for family.

An average pace for last minute booking. Rooms were quite big and spacious no doubt. Only few rooms have balcony, that may add to some value but it comes with an additional cost. If you get room from first floor onward then its perfect. This home-stay, doesnt not provide any thing to eat. You need to step out to Krishna Inn for food. You need to struggle for breakfast, even for a cup of coffee or tea. Room service is good. The attendant is quite helpful in providing information around places and arraigning few limited things he can. Sight scene places in Valparai are far away from the home-stay.Imp: NO good places to see actually.. You can just enjoy the drive or ride through Ghat and Hairpin Bend and the view from their is mind boggling. Nothing else is so good about this place..

Average rooms. Has really good view point from couple of rooms. You cannot expect to get soap, towel like many of the other resorts or stays. WiFi is poor. The door bell was broken and made an annoying loud noise whenever they got us food. Its high time that is changed - the bell. There is no food option in the homestay. Everything is got from a nearby restaurant which you can yourself walk and order. However, in Valparai there are very few options in the town area. The owner is knowledgeable about the various tourist spots and can guide you well when you are there. People of Valparai are really sweet though if you make it a point to talk to them and ask their opinion - this was kind of a plus. 2 stars for the stay. 1 extra star for friendly people.

We can order very good home food. Wifi connectivity is low. Decent rooms.

Not a good place to stay as we cannot feel relaxed. The passages are narrow... Its like an ordinary lodge. They wont provide any soap, toothpaste, turkey etc.... Its not worth what we pay.But the hotel people are good and the food was also nice. They arranged night Safari in permissible places which was a very good experience.

Well maintained clean rooms with a good view of town and estates. A clean bathroom with water heater. Frank (owner), Jenny (workerare cordial.Wi Fi not that fast if you are a hotel wi Fi user.

Good view from rooms. No restaurants available inside hotel. However, they provide services to the food to your room based on your order. Parking space is limited but good and roofed. Restaurants at walkable distance.

Wonderful weekend stay there..... Very nice view from the rooms especially from the top two rooms with the private balcony which are just behind car parking. Food ordered through Mr. Jeni is awesome which is really tasteful.... We loved it and enjoyed it....Room is very worth for the price.....Still some room for improvement like dining arrangement, cupboard for cloths, drinking water kettle heater, etc...
