Mister Ayachi - Moroccan restaurant in Fes, Morocco
great sandwitch. very good value
Rien a signaler top
Good bbq sandwiches! There is beef, turkey and sausage and all are nice. Try the spicy version for some extra flavor. Mister Ayachi is very kind and will help you with other street food recommendations. This all for the price of 25dh per sandwich!
This place is really a find. I was skeptical because can you trust Google reviews of street food? Well, trust the positive reviews of this place. Mister Ayachi is the real deal, serving plenty of people who are obviously local. The seasoned meat fillings for his sandwiches are perfectly seasoned (with spices but not hotand, if you ask, can also be made spicy (fairly challenging spice level - and our family regularly eats Szechuan, Eritrean, and Thai food). Mister Ayachi himself is also great. Lots of vendors in the market will try to take advantage of tourists but Mister Ayachi definitely does not do that. Hes friendly and approachable and will explain whats in the meat case without making you feel pressured or patronized. He charges the same prices to everybody, unlike the vendors across the way who urged the fellow I bought zaatar from to charge me double (I paid double because why the heck not, its only fifty cents and it made the whole groups day when I handed over the money despite the zaatar sellers obvious embarrassment).
It was tricky to find, but well worth it. Four years later Im grilling kufta and all I can think of is Mr. Ayachis. Legit.
Local Nice place
This is handsdown my favorite place to eat in Morocco! Mister Ayachi is super nice, the food is even better and it’s really cheap and just genius overall. GO.
Lovely guy. Gentle, good sandwich with great sauce
Delicious sandwich! The owner is really lovely too

Very filling sandwich 25dh+ and tea for 5dh. Owner very kind and welcoming. This place is a little closer to the mosque I believe (but still on the main market road)
Easy to find: As shown on Google Maps, its on the "alley" that runs parrallel to the main big street but not in the *exact* location on that alley. Look for the black sign that says "Mr. Ayashi" just like the picture shows- walk less than 100m one direction and if you dont see it, turn around and walk less than 100m the other way and youll find it. Trust me its on the street Google Maps shows, and he told me he has been there for 18 years. Good spot, very friendly owner, and was open At 22:45 on a Tuesday
Amazing BBQ sandwich. Possibly the best food I had in Morocco. Mr Ayachi himself was very friendly and even invited us into his kitchen to take a photo with his grill. Was a little difficult to find and was closed on Friday night. We went back the next day and was well worth the search. Mr Ayachi even offered us tea which he had to get from another vendor. Price was super cheap too (20-25MAD). Must visit if youre in town! Would have only been improved if there was some sauce to go with the delicious grilled meat.
Sandwiches, even spicy if you like, for 25dh onwards. Friendly staff at a small food stall.
One of my best meal in Fes! Getting lost for 15min on the way to Mister Ayachi but it totally worth a shot☝🏽it costs 20MAD for a panino. try the turkey one ;)
Excellent barbecue street food in Fez, both the turkey and the beef are so tasty, the price is very good and the location is clean.
Real local experience in the medina. Food was tasty.
