Mint Vinetu - Book store in Vilnius, Lithuania
Liked this cozy and unusual place, great idea of interior, cool service, awesome cocoa🤍
Its a great place in the library. it is a great space where you can quietly drink your coffee and read a book
Officially my favorite cafe in Vilnius.
Aš always excellent place to relax and have a nice coffee!
One of the best coffee places in Vilnius. Their neighbors are also good t.b.h.
Everything here is in good taste, including music. One of my favorite cafès in Europe.
I spent there couple of afternoon hours going through newly published poetry books while enjoying cup of fine coffee
Great little second hand book shop, many languages, lots of art books, really good espresso (but no food the day I was there)
Nice place to study and have a vegan coffee
Best cocoa mug ever!
Nice place, great cheap coffe
Lovely atmosphere. One of the best places for a bookworm. Feels like I can spend all day there. The selection of books may be not the best, but besides the point I think it’s a great place to snuggle in with your book and drink a cup of coffee
If youre a book worm, this is your favourite book shop/cafe
It is a lovely, cosy place with lovely owners and lovely employees (wonderful human beings). Tasty coffee and tea. Considerably cheap and high value books. Must visiting, must and worth coming back. Again and again. Even for studying, for meeting friends.
Review is just for the coffee. The coffee was decent but when I asked what type of coffee they had available for Americano I received a blank stare. I then asked what country the coffee they were serving is from and the girl told me Americano. Ok maybe she didnt know. There are literally 20 coffee shops very near that not only have way better coffee but better informed baristas. The workers should know if they are serving a single origin or a blend and what country its from
I really expected to like this place, but I just didnt. It feels like its trying very hard to be hipster British/American, but just ends up being neither that, nor authentically Lithuanian. The selection of English language books is terrible. I dont think Oxfam would even take these titles. The prices are astronomical. They are selling an 80s typewriter thats not in perfect condition for 100 Euros, that can be found for a tenner on eBay. I get that this is Lithuania, so availability isnt the same as in the UK. But I feel like it would be more authentic and enjoyable to embrace that
My friend recommended this place, and I wasnt disappointed. Its cozy and warm and stylish in that old-school bookish way that instantly immerses you in nostalgia. Also, do try the Alice in Wonderland cocoa - its something in the middle between a drink and a dessert and absolutely delicious even for someone who doesnt really like sweets ☺️
This is my favourite place in Vilnius! a cosy café where go to read, to draw or have a talk while drinking coffee or tea in a very quiet ambience, surrounded by books. If youre lucky enough someone could also start playing the piano or the guitar. I just love this place!
Fantastic vibe. Great tea and biscuits with a possibility to play chess, guitar and piano. Had a lovely time there playing on the piano and chilling with my cup of tea.
My favorite place to have a cup of tea or coffee and even to find original presents - books, postcards, pins and other things. :must visit place in Vilnius! :)))
Cute little book store with cozy reading space and various options for coffee. They have books in Nordic languages as well as Lithuanian and a small collection of English as well.
The best place for booklovers in Vilnius, highly recommend to grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the vibe!
Very cool book shop with cool vibe and also you can have coffee here too and relax!
I absolutely loved this bookstore/reading room/coffee shop. Very old school/old world, so much character, very friendly service. Quite a gem, indeed.
A nice cozy place where you can get books as we as some coffee or tea. However there was a cold draft in a further room due to the door not properly insulated.
A very cosy atmosphere! Drinks might be a bit averagre, but they suit the theme and at not too overpriced. Cheap books tho.
If you seek atmosphere and wonderful service - you are at the right spot. Full of old and new books for a fraction of value price. Hands down my favourite bookstore
Without doubt one of the best coffee places in Vilnius to work, read or just hang out. Great selection of books and stuff.
Its great! They sell really cheap second-hand books and serve delicious drinks. The workers are very welcoming and quick on their feet. Its quite a small café and everything is a bit crammed - some like that, some dont. I enjoy it very much, it feels very cozy and at home. Overall a lovely place
If you are looking for something to read or simply need a dictionary, this is the place to go. There are plenty of books in a few languages. Just bought a dictionary - happy with the book, as well as the fact that is sustainable and affordable.
Tea was pleasant. There were a decent number of used books in English. Also they sold some nifty enamel pins made in Lithuania.
Awesome cafe-library. Go there to chill drinking fancy drinks (matcha), coffee etc. And read good books. You can also play guitar if you are good enough. Super suggested.
I think I found my favorite coffee shop in Vilnius. Cozy and soothing atmosphere. This coffee shop is also a second hand book shop with a large selection of books in different languages. You can stick for more than one hour, choosing a book. A large cappuccino in a beautiful cup - 2.30 euro, one of the best prices in the city center. Desserts looked appetizing, I will try next time :)
Great atmosphere, friendly crowd, lots of books! They also do live music, but I havent been yet.
As an Expat and Traveller, this is my favourite Go-to coffee spot in Vilnius. There are lots of internationals here, affordable second hand books in different languages and a great cafe menu. Value for money and a friendly environment
It is a nice place to sit and work or read a book. It is quite silent, but you still feel like in a public place. You can order some natural teas or coffee, some desserts. Alsž you can buy some books and stuff.
Great coffee, it has a strong taste but not bitter. Atmosphere is relaxing.
Great atmosphere, SUPERB tea, absolutely lovely staff, normally very awesome customers as well ; very nice place for everyone to visit, definitely recommended. Whether just looking for books to buy or have a cup of tea or coffee.
A bookstore mostly selling second-hand books and a cozy, stylish cafe.
This is such a cool little cafe and bookstore with sections in a variety of different languages and some quirky little finds. They even serve coffee like you get in Laos and Vietnam - with condensed milk. Yum 😋
Incredibly cosy atmosphere and great cocoa! Perfect place to meet friends and have those long deep conversations as it is quiet and there are small intimate spaces to sit away from others eyes. The book selection is also quite big so you are sure to find a good read with your cup of cocoa :)
I went because I’d heard they had a good selection of used English books, and I was not disappointed!! Great diverse selection!
One of my favourite places to come and chill out, have some amazing cacao or coffee. This place has a very bohemian classic vibe, with books all over the place. You can come here with your friends to hang out, or do some work. Nice music in the background, friendly staff. Overall, this place has its own spirit and charm. Of course you can buy books here, they have them in a lot of different languages. There are some handmade artworks and postcards from Lithuanian artists by the counter. AND they also sell old school vinyls :)
Very nice idea of books and little spots to hide for a while surrounded by so many minds :)For a better atmosphere in the evening i would recommend less light, maybe with some desk lamps on the tables? That would be awesome! And also would be useful to let know staff about cakes ingredients :D and more milk alternative options!!!For the rest BRAVO!
A great place for a coffee or tea with your favorite book. Although now its more a Cafe than a bookstore. Usually crowded, but still has a good vibe. Ask for a giftwrap when buying a book, they do an oldschool wax stamp
Very cozy bookstore/Caffe type of place; books are often used but really cheap (some for a euro). If youre looking for a place to spend chill few hours drawing/writing/working or just chatting with friends with a cup of warm cocoa, its a place to go!
A really nice and cozy coffee with lots and lots of used books. Id say its the nicest coffeehouse to have a rest all over Vilnius. There are many little corners to sit in and read, there are 2 chessboards to play and there are many interesting people going in and out to look at. Very nice. The only downside are the beverages though. The cappuccino is boring w.r.t. the taste. The cocoa with cream is nice though, and there is not much they can do wrong with a simple tea.
The nicest cafe Ive been to in Vilnius. Without a doubt. Sit, read, and have a delicious (and pleasantly affordablecup of coffee! There are also some quirky postcards, as well as a small selection of vinyl records, magnets, and other souvenirs, if youre interested in that kind of thing.
Lovely bookstore and café selling used books and kinds of cards and arts. Excellent place to spend an afternoon playing chess and drinking coffee.
Cozy place with lot of books and souvenirs. The guy at the counter was weird and a bit unfriendly, but I still give 5 stars for atmosphere!
