Great food and atmosphere

I just wanted a quick dinner before I go to the airport to fly back home. And I discovered this restaurant. It was empty when I was there. But the pasta dish did taste really good

Had the breaded/schnitzel chicken with fries. The chicken did not taste fresh for me. Its a cute place with nice staff.

Service staff were disinterested.Food was too expensive for what it was.Really just go a few meters towards the city center and look for a different restaurant with delicious food.

Unfortunately not a great experience. Everything was average and the food was over priced for the quality.Just walk for another 5 minutes towards the centre and enjoy better food for similar prices.We were there at 17:30 so maybe it was the lull before a busy evening, but nevertheless the food was just ok.

Had a great day menu with a Greek salad and a gyros for 9€ would highly recommend this restaurant to eat on while in Heraklion.

We went on a Friday evening, and it was delicious! The Lamb Chops were amazing and came in a great size. The Moussaka was nothing outstanding, but good as well.Service was great, and overall we spent 35 euros for 2 dishes and 2 drinks.

Be careful, tourist trap! We ordered 2 gyros at 9,5€ each and 2 limonades at 1.5€ each(prices on menuand we received a check of 28€. The gyro was now 10.5€, the drink now 2.5€ and an extra of 2€ service fee!? We accepted the check, as we are common sense people and we did not wanted to cause a scene there, but we wanted to share our experience so you can avoid the unpleasant experience we had. Just because we speak English and not Greek, we had to pay an extra 6€.Too bad because food was decent.

The staff is outstandingly friendly. They speak english, are friendly to your kids and they took photos of us when we asked them to. The food was great. I for example enjoyed antipasti and sea brass with french fries. I highly recommend this place especially when you are traveling with kids. But dont get me wrong: Its not an overly loud atmosphere. :)

🥗:Lamb chop was my favorite! The meat tasted fresh, juicy but not so oily.Other dishes were also good, nothing strange.🛎:Loved talking with the lady at the door, she was genuine and enthusiastic about her work. As a Chinese I feel connected to her as we were both nourished by ancient civilizations. She really made my day!

We tried a variety of dishes here and all the things prepared fresh were really good: Souvlaki, lamb chops, grilled fish. Would not recommend oven made stuff however. Service was also very good.

Great place with amazing food. Owned by very kind hearted old man who cares for your food experience as you were his kin. Highly recommended if youre looking for a place with a true feeling of Greek hospitality.

I love greek traditional food and here it is. Exceptional for the price, the salads they serve are incomparable outside of Crete. Love it.

The Greek salad was very good, and the Gyros was also nice. So all in all the food was very good. Not the best seating options, but it is ok. You do get greeted when you look at the menu, but it aint too annoying.

Really good family run restaurant. Friendly staff, quick service and great tasting food. Portion sizes are great and prices are about average / expected.

I had the lamd souvlaki with a pink lemonade for €17 and it was delicious. The portions are also great. I left completely satisfied and they give you some complementary fresh watermelon slices at the end. Would definitely recommend this place.

Sadly, I had to throw up after eating there... the octopus was burnt and dry, not eatable. Loved the Baby Fish until I found a hair in it. The chicken souvlaki was soaked in alcohol and really tastet like alcohol but they told us there wasnt any. Im very sorry to give one star, because they offered us some watermelon and took 10€ from the bill. But the food really was awfull. Maybe something else wouldve been better.

Although this restaurant is located in the city center, it offers great dishes at a reasonable price. Two huge Greek salads, enormous gyros on the plate, moussaka, dessert, juice and beer cost less than 30 euros! All dishes were delicious, especially greek yogurt with honey and cinnamon...Besides, the interior with a lot of small details is very interesting

It is an ok place for a quick bite, the food is close to 4 stars, but the toilet is not a "gift to the human kind". I must say that the bread was excellent!

I have to sadly say that for the price is real average. We ordered the grill mix plate and the moussaka. The meet was dry I ve had really better meet for less in crete. The place is really nice decorated and has wifi.

I was served right after I sat down. The drink came very quickly. For the food I ordered I waited quite long. The lamb was a little bit hard to chew, but in general acceptable. What suprized me is that they did even take the tip.. I had all my changes back. Well, I would probably recommend this place if you pass by this restaurant during lunch/dinner time and you can try other dishes other than the lamb.

Nice & Cheerful staff . I would strongly recommend to order meat dishes because its tender, juicy and is cooked in a special way . An atmosphere is rather cozy and unique .

Lovely food, friendly staff...We had Moussaka, stuffed tomatoes and pork gyros (they dont do chicken gyros)They had offer of the day with all, with a starter of Greek salad. Everything tasted lovely and the portions are very reasonable

Creten salad was superb and large sized with pork,pomigranite and more, friendly, accomadating and real 😀 my husbands main meal was good, had pork Gyros with breads and chips. The stewed beef I ate was a lot to eat and not as strong in flavour. That said the table next to ours ordered Creten pizzas that looked real good. You should go there if you can.

Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious, and fairly priced. Well get back to it asap.

Very nice litte restaurant in the heart of Heraklion, it gives you a little time out of all the trouble outside. Fancy inventory and amazing food await you here, a must visit.

Amazing and incredible food ! So delicious ! Every dish was very yummy especially the salad ! Good price too and very big portions ! Really lovely and helpful staff and in a great location too ! Two minutes walk from the archaelogical museum and right in the centre of the city ! Upstairs balcony overlooking a busy pedestrian street ! Really lovely place ! Loved it and will be back 😍😍😍😍
