Beautiful park stands near center of erbil which offer you amazing view and green grasses and best place for family , couples and include cafe , shish shop , Teleferik which travels to next stand parck is (shanadar park and also have public W.C for men and woman

Great park , there is cirlce at the enterance of the park, where there is pigeons you could feed them. There is a miniture erbil citadel and erbil minaret , miniture Eiffile tower.Toward the minaret there is a shop who sells refreshemnt drinks and some food but it is little overpriced , you can buy water and cola and juices at the gate if the park cheaper.You can ride cable car to pass over the shanader park.There was a ballon as well،but i dont think they operate it anymore ...It is worth visiting ...recommended

as area it is not too big, but as value of this park i like to mention what will you see inside the part, 1st at all it called minara park which is refers to (minarasymbol that located inside the park and this is very old minara that can be see from very far distance because of its hight, then goerment transferred (ibn mstawfi stone structureto this park also it is very old structure from erbil, also you can enjoy many type os green structures that made by trees and a lace like romanian stadium frm the intrance also you can get up and get down by (tilfrikfrom this park, also from the rigt side of the park you can see some small handmade qalat and minara also efel tower, and also kids play area available inside this park and behind it, you can see some govermental offices and a green house from the last point of the park.

Minara park is located in the center of Erbil city. It is a suitable destination for families and small groups. No great dining options only few small shops.

I love the place! Although I did not come at spring so there was less flowers than usual, also most water works are off which is kinda sad, telefric are off at morning and noon too :(

Very clean and calm place , you can see the historical minaret which bult in 1128 - 1138 A.D , it mean the minaret age is about 900 years old .i wish everyone get this chance to see the decoration , art and architecture .

This is almost in the center of Erbil city. There are three adjacent parks connected by a telefreak. It is a very nice and calm place to spend some relaxing time in.

A quit and calm medium sized park, known for hosting the historic "Minare tower" and a couple of memorable status of the kurdish leaders and poets. Have a comfortable amount of disks and tables to sit and read a book with a cup of coffee, there is on small sized cafe to buy some local coffee or tea and to relax in the park.

I have been to this place previously. This time I had a great time. My kids enjoyed the playgrounds where they played seesaws, slides, tunnels and swings, we also rode the cable car. A disclaimer, the games need maintenence and some were not safe for kids. I hope they manage to remove unsafe or broken play elements.There are many people coming out inthe weekend. You might find it difficult to park your car.The gardens are very well maintained and kept clean.

This is a great park and also close to Shanidar Park, which is another must-stop.The Minaret Park is easy to get to and recognize. As you drive south, look to your right for an elevated slope and drive up to meet the stone archway with a bird on it. Park here and waltz your way in.Youll be greeted with what looks like a Roman forum sort of look. On the right, you can see a miniature replica of the Eiffel Tower. Following this path, you can also see a miniature replica of the Citadel (very cool!and the Mudhafaria Minarett thats in the park. Keep heading north-west and youll see a gigantic orange balloon thing (sponsored by Korek, which I think is a cell phone carrier), and past that is a path with statue busts that lead to another large statue and the Mudhafaria Minarett, which is the last piece of a mosque that used to be in the area. (Its behind a locked fence, but its still a nifty piece of history to see, and you might as well if youre here.)Definitely a great place to spend some time. Theres even a playground for kids!

It has such a great calmness and well done garden jobs. But in my opinion it needs more services to be done there.

Beautiful well maintained park... It is very refreshing to go there in a hot Summer evening or a clear Spring day.I wish there was more seating arrangement to have picnic etc.

Choli Minaret is one of Erbil citys most famous landmarks. Built in 1128-1138 A.D., during the rule of Sultan Mudhaffar al-Din Called, it is also known as al-Mudhafariah Minaret. Local inhabitants refer to it as Choli because it was far from the city. A truly fascinating experience for visitors interested in local history

A 13th-century minaret featuring promenades amid formal gardens & water terraces.miniatur of Citadel and Seyd Gaylan are available here.a lot of hero statues of Kurdistan that can be recognized from their effort in the past. a very good design park for everyone, you can learn and enjoy me time here Minaret it self was built in the era of Atabkin, which is the remnants of mosque with remarkable artistic design. Minaret base is 15 meters, with hegiht 22.10 meters with cylinder shape entire Minaret height is about 37.10 meters, has 1 door and 2 stairs, so the ascended and descended people can not see each other. what a wonderful artistic work !!! made of baked clay and plastered with blue burned ceramics for external decorations the wonderful architect of this Minaret is Messaudi Mohammed and still, sorry to say so, hygienic of toilets are very nasty and smelly. can some volunteers clean them all?

Nice place for couples.

Minarah Park is one of the most beautiful recreation grounds in the region. It is located opposite Shanader Park and is named Minarah because of the Choli Minaret housed in the park grounds. The park can be visited daily and national activities and celebrations are often held here.

Beautiful spot. I dont know if I was early, or if the place is just a remnant of its former glory. I felt like I was in an amusement park the morning after its last night.
