Cute Italian in Ponta Delgada. The quality was good but on the expensive side.

I went here my first night in Ponta Delgada to get over the airplane food. My server was lovely, offering suggestions and pairings. The caprese was delicious, the bolognese was fresh and fragrant, and the pasta was cooked just right. Definitely recommend.

Warm, quaint with friendly staff and delicious food. Seafood linguine was amazing! We were treated to complimentary limoncello at the end of our meal. A class act.

Nice small Italian restaurant. Staff was mixed as one is rude and the other is nice. Food is okay and not "out of this world", but better than several other dining restaurants on the island.

Fantastic meal! The food was excellent (especially the seafood pastaand the service was amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone travelling to the Azores!

Great food, friendly staff, large portions

The service is good and they are friendly. The starters that we ordered were very good mussels in a orange sauce and ceaser salad. The main course we ordered a cheese pizza that was surprisingly good even though the crust was a little thicker than we like. Over all I would eat there again.

A kitchen faint in taste and a staff that means well but fails to provide a pasta within an hour. Might have been unlucky but i can not recommend this restaurant. The ambiance is decent in the front of the restaurant but if you have to sit in the back: its noize and the room is lit with bright white TL light.Recommend you go anywhere else, for instance Tasca.

Very nice place!I would definitely recommend this place, tasty food, not as at the other places at Azores where they only serve french fries and hamburgers. You have nice and various dishes here and a big compliment to the staff which is very friendly and kind!

Would not recommend the restaurant to anyone. My pasta was tasteless and overdone. The staff was nice but the owner wasnt really friendly and tried to kill a mouse on the street in front of everyone eating out there (finally some other guy stepped on the mouse and killed it :/...

Don’t miss some of best service on the island. You may want to call ahead for reservation at the peak times. Lovely venue and good selection. Calamari was excellent. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

Great food, reasonably priced and with a good atmosphere too. Eat outside to enjoy the experience to the full. Book if you dont want to wait. We had pizza and loved it! Second visit in three days and I know well go again! The lemonchello is amazing too!

Well, pizza was made with a frozen base. Pasta was terrible.Owner is a character. But I was really trying to dine, not to buy a ticket to the circus.Nice job. That’s why it was almost empty

Awesome authentic Italian food- the real deal. Benny and his staff were attentive and friendly. Nice cozy atmosphere. Mushroom risotto was delicious, as was the pineapple dessert and a nice wine selection. A must try for great Italian food in Ponta Delgada.

Have just left there. I cannot praise this place enough. Benni and his wonderful partner ( told you I was rubbish on names ! are wonderful hosts. The food is top class. That goes without saying. But an evening is more than just this. A real restaurant run by real people who care. Not just a place after custom. Cannot praise high enough and we eat all over the world.Lee & Jenny. Xx

Amazing food, friendly and accommodating service

The pasta Salmone my wife ordered had too much panna and almost no salmon, my Vitello meat was difficult to chew and the service was poor (when asked to closed the door because it was cold inside the owner said he couldn’t). With so many good restaurants in this beautiful island I would recommend everyone to try another place for dinner/lunch.

The food was excellent. We had calamari and mozzarella for appetizers and various pastas. All were delicious--I had the carbonara and it was excellent. All of the desserts are excellent as well. What made the visit the most enjoyable was the amazing service. Beny and everyone else were very knowledgeable about all of the food and drink and even helped us plan some adventures on our trip! Highly recommended!

Delicious food and excellent service! The staff was super friendly and polite. The atmosphere has the kind of italian touch you would expect. Also, our order arrived very quickly. Therefore, if you want good italian food, this restaurant is the place to go!

We had dinner here our last night on Sao Miguel. It was excellent!!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Food was delicious!! We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service and lovely Italian food. Enjoyed very nice Bruschetta and pasta with tomato and basil as well as aglio olio e pecorino. Both the Tiramisu and Panna Cotta with a spicy crumble and sliced fruit were outstanding desserts. Stay for a nice Espresso as well. A great addition for a little variation from the wonderful Portuguese choices in Ponta Delgada!
