Thanks to Country Reporter we found this great place. This is the first place I have been to that assign’s your table when you order. The food was good, not as smoky as I personally like for BBQ. There was two unmarked sauces on the table and the lighter in color sauce, with what looked like pepper flakes, was really good and flavorful. The Fire in the bowl was the perfect portion of 2 meats & 2 sides plus Fritos! Yum! The banana pudding is the best I have had from a restaurant. The only down side was the water is not filtered and tasted dirty. The $2.79 for a soda is worth the investment. The tea did not masks the unfiltered water. We would come back for the food.

Was there for lunch on a Saturday. The place was packed, out the door line.To spite all that, the service was great. I had brisket and their local sausage. Both were very good. The sausage is especially tasty, not too spicy.Service was fast and short wait (<10 mineven though every table was full.Pricing is not cheap, but fair for food / quality received.Recommend this place, plenty of parking in city lot across the street.

Very friendly staff. Opened the door for me as I was walking in. Was craving a good bbq breakfast but was a little disappointed that only option was the brisket taco for about $5. Rest of the options were mainly sausage or bacon. Not really big on eggs which is weird since this a breakfast review. The eggs were too wet in my opinion but I’m sure that’s how most enjoy them. Salsa was really good and refreshing. Breakfast sandwich was really good but I had to take off the wet eggs.

The turkey sandwich was tender and delicious! Cornbread was perfect. Not too dry and not too moist. My husband had the brisket sandwich and said was bestter than Rudys. The onions all around because I pulled them out. Definitely coming back 👍🏼

1st time so: tried out pulled pork, moist brisket, turkey, sausage, coleslaw, potato salad, broccoli salad and nitro cold brew. Every single thing was delicious. Like Ill have dreams about the brisket and broccoli salad haha. I prefer the stronger seasoning in Elgin sausage but still absolutely amazing. All the meats were melt away 💯 also this location has legit espresso machine crafted coffees, desserts, margs and beer so really the best of all worlds in one place. Vibe and decor were cool and tons of seating. Really cant say enough about how impressive it was - we live in Austin and have kids and its hard to find a delicious place for all of us and out of town family/friends. This is all the things.

I really liked the atmosphere, the friendly stuff and of course, the delicious food. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious, the Bar-B-Q sauce was delicious, the mac n cheese was great, the coleslaw was good but the beans were just okay. The beans were a bit spicy without warning, just a jeans up. Overall, I would recommend!

Outstanding BBQ in the greater Fort Hood/Temple area. The Missus and I have been back in the area for a year and finally found the best BBQ in the area; its at Millers! The meat melts in your mouth and the desserts are pretty good too! You can even avoid the crowd and call in or take out. Try the rest, then come here for the Best - good eatin.

The brisket rub is amazingly tasty. Have been there a few times & always good. Didnt love the beans (fairly tastelessI got. Great bbq sauce. My kids love the pulled pork. Friendly & helpful service.

I absolutely enjoy their food, and if you visit the sweets are a must for every visit. The coffee is an excellent addition although it can taste a little burnt sometimes. I know every BBQ place has it but the Brisket is a must if you get more than one meat on your plate.

Update 10-09-21 stopped in for some breakfast. I had a breakfast burger which was pretty dang good. Wife had breakfast tacos, one with bacon and one with brisket. She liked the bacon (waken baconbetter than the brisket. We shared a cinnamon roll and it was delicious!You can’t go wrong at Miller’s! I usually go for the ribs because they are to die for! When they are out of those, I will enjoy some brisket and sausage. Really, it doesn’t matter what you order, everything on the menu is really good! Don’t forget desert!

I have just three little words for you. Breakfast brisket tacos. You have to try them before you die. Ive heard great things about the BBQ here, but sadly didnt get to try it. But given the quality of the tacos, Im sure its great. Oh and they also do great coffee!

I had a wonderful day today." I ate at this restaurant for the second time during my visit today. The balance of the cuisine, service, and atmosphere is perfect. not allowing for any objections. a busy restaurant with a clever marketing strategy. Come in and sample the chicken. You will come back for the entire menu, I promise!

Second time I’ve eaten here in a week and it’s soooo good! I enjoyed a brisket egg & cheese taco with candied maple latte in store. Both were great. But then I did a carry out breakfast and ordered the small pimento grits but added chopped brisket and soft scrambled eggs on top. It’s delicious! I can see this becoming a regular spot for me

If I could, I would give 6 stars. Brisket is excellent, the turkey is flavorful and moist—not at all dry as you might expect—and the ribs are superb! My favorite ribs ever! The mac and cheese seems to be a step up from Kraft out of a box, which is the one downside. Given how excellent the other stuff is, I had hoped something better. Get the banana pudding before you leave as a favor to yourself. not your standard pudding It resembles whipping cream and is created with banana chunks and cookies. Amazing stuff. Also quite friendly is the personnel.

The food deserves 5 starts because it’s just so good!! Potatoes and mac n cheese are mouth watering!! I guess that’s why it’s so expensive lol but I also understand the prices of food have gone up. I love the soda drinks they have there as well they’re so delicious lol I tired every single one of them! I wish they had a combo deal though, you have to buy everything separately. So we’re just trying to strategize what’s the best way to order what we want but also save money. I also wish they had a kids menu option, we just shared our food with our children.

Pretty good! Definitely worth a try! They ran out of ribs, before we got there. But Ill gladly make another trip just to try the ribs!

Brisket was fork tender and juicy. Sides were also delicious. Were new to the area and will definitely be adding this to our restaurant rotation when we go out to eat! Went at dinner time, no line and plenty of food left (besides them being a little low on ribs). Restaurant was very clean inside and plenty of parking in a lot across the street. Also, if you have enough room left for dessert, try the sopapilla cheesecake!

This place is just as good if not better than all the places Ive been to on the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ list.The brisket was extraordinary. Both the fatty and lean were insanely tender. Sauces were great. The ribs were my favorite part, so tender and juicy and packed with flavor. I got the hot link sausage, and it had some decent kick to it.Sides were classic and very well done. The buttered potatoes were unique and delicious. Plus the vibe in here is awesome. Grab a beer or a coffee, sit down and hang out with friends over some classic Central Texas Style BBQ.

As good as Miller’s usual barbecue is, I had their breakfast for the first time today and it was shockingly lackluster. I ordered a loaded hash for $10 and received small bowl of hash browns with cheese and an over cooked egg with a little veggies in it. It definitely did taste near as good as any of the usual barbecue. My wife got biscuits and gravy for around $7.50 and it was just two small biscuits with gravy. My two small boys split a pancake plate which was by far the best meal of the three and the cheapest. The three meals with 3 drinks put us out $35. You can spend a lot less for a lot better breakfasts at many other places nearby. My recommendation is come for the barbecue. Not the breakfast

Great Texas bbq!! The beans were well seasoned, the sausage was amazing with a kick of spice, and the pulled pork was also good. They also have their own coffee shop inside. Nice place.

Moist, thick-cut brisket with a trendy vibe. This place seems to attract fewer cowboys and more college students and former hipsters, but the bbq is still real! I got a 1/2 pound of brisket for about $14 and made my own sandwich, but I appreciate that they have more reasonably priced sandwich options for people like me who don’t want to spend $20 - $30 every time I eat out. The beans are just beans, but not bad. The chocolate chip cookie I had for dessert was PERFECT, with that real homemade texture and taste. Other highlights were the craft soda at the soda fountains and the spicy bbq sauce. If you’re passing through, this place is worth your time.

Everything tasted delicious. The pork ribs are my favorite, the fruity pebble cookie and pineapple cream soda were good too. They have excellent customer service. The only reason I rated a 4 stars is because of a mixup with my order. I won’t talk about that because they made it right. Thank you to Millers for delicious food and a great experience. I definitely be coming back again.

Miller’s Smokehouse located in Belton, Texas has the best barbecue! We were pressed for time and ordered pulled pork sandwiches to go. They did not disappoint. Now before we left the car in front of us ordered a coffee and a cookie to go. So, of course inquiring minds want to know. They ordered a white chocolate mocha latte with a sugar cookie. We had to try an iced white chocolate mocha latte with the sugar cookie . Yes it had sprinkles and yes it was delicious! Apparently they have different types of cookies on different days and several coffee to choose from. I think Starby’s has some competition.🥸

If you are craving some of that Tx bbq you’ve always heard about, Millers Smokehouse is the place to get some of the best in the state! Staff are incredible, all the food is made from scratch in-house, Momma Miller makes all the desserts from scratch everyday! (the sopapilla cheesecake and banana pudding are to die for). Most plates are normally enough food for two people. Just make sure you leave enough room for the dessert and hand-roasted coffee from the coffee shop inside the restaurant! They also serve breakfast. I can’t wait to pass through town early enough to try what I am sure will be one of the best breakfast tacos in the state also! Make sure to say hi to Dusty, Momma Miller and the rest of the family that run one of Texas’ Best BBQ joints in the state. You can definitely tell this family has been perfecting the art of smoking briskets for generations!

We have been going to Millers for BBQ since last summer, when we moved here. Best, most consistent food quality in the Belton area. This last time, we were there for breakfast tacos on a Saturday morning. Delicious!! And with easy carry-out. Try it.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Brisket is really good, turkey is well seasoned and moist, not dry like you expect, and ribs are Outstanding! Best ribs Ive ever had!! The only drawback is the mac and cheese, which seems to be one step above Kraft out of a box. Was expecting better given the other food is so so good. Do yourself a favor and get the banana pudding before you leave. Not your typical pudding. It seems to be whipped and made with cookies and chunks of banana. Great stuff. The staff is super friendly too.

In the nicest way - this is what city people think bbq is. The Mac was just water and pasta. We got a table and they set up a seat for my little kid but then asked if we were seated there and to show the slip they give you. We didn’t get one. They told us they gave that table to a different party that came in after us. So, They double booked the high top table. This Made the whole meal feel as if we need to move or get up. We couldn’t relax. They had to ask what name was on the ticket then brought out the food. $70 for the food to come out cold and lacking. It did Look nice. Most of the staff was friendly. Just would go there again now know what it taste like.

This place is AWESOME! We were in the area for our sons archery state tournament and when I looked up BBQ places in the area, this one happened to be the closest to our location. I am so glad we stumbled onto this place. We arrived right at 11:00 am (when they start serving lunchand there was only one large group ahead of us. By the time we left, the place was packed and the line rounded the corner of the building.We had the moist brisket, 1/2 rack of pork ribs, homemade sausage (regular, they also have jalapeño), the broccoli salad, potato salad, and one bloody mary (for a total of $59.99). This was both our lunch and dinner today. EVERYTHING WAS DELISH!!!We live in Round Rock and have already decided this is worth the drive and will be bringing extended family on our next visit (next weekend😉).

I love to get the Big’un! Very filling! Their brisket is always tender, smoked to perfection, juicy, and so delicious! I love the fact it’s our local spot because I’m definitely a frequent buyer of Millers BBQ!

Food was great with clean indoor / outdoor seating. Togo lines were quick and easy. Their limited menu is good and easy to order.

Excellent barbecue in the neat little town of Belton.Whether you like brisket, pulled pork, or sausages Millers has the option for you. Ive had or tasted all three and theyre all good. Plus they have excellent desserts. There could be a line during busy times, but things move quickly.When in the area we usually eat here multiple times.No fake barbecue here, you can see and smell the smoke coming from the building.

Of course this is a great spot for lunch & dinner, but the breakfast is amazing! They serve until ~ 10:55 AM. Miller’s has quite a few options on their breakfast and coffee menu. I recommend the pancake breakfast for dine-in and a cinnamon roll to go (or one of their other delicious looking desserts).

Excellent ribs. Sausages densely packed, but in my opinion not as good as looser packed sausages. Brisket good, but inconsistent remarked my cousin who is bbq connoisseur and been here on many of occasions. Sides better than other bbq places.

Great service, adorable place and the FOOD! Pulled pork sandwich, Mac n cheese and Cole slaw - all were fantastic. Pulled pork was sweet, tender, juicy. Cole slaw was sweet, but not sickly sweet. Mac n cheese was just right.Husband had brisket and pulled pork. Really enjoyed it.Well deserved spot in Texas Monthly "50 Best BBQ in Texas"! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟We will be back!

So there is not much to say about Miller other then if you havent tried them then you are missing out. I have the pleasure of living locally and let me tell you it is always been top notch BBQ. I usually order the 1/2 pound of brisket and sausage. It is worth every penny I pay. If you wanna try some delicious BBQ give them a try in belton you wont be disappointed.

Brisket, sausage and half a chicken.. solid 8. I felt the Brisket could have used a little more smoke and spice. The jalapeno cheese sausage was delicious! The half a chicken was seasoned & cooked perfectly. The BBQ sauce, potato salad & broccoli salad was good too. We traveled from Round Rock just to eat here and we would do it again!

Road-trip back to DFW and we wanted a local BBQ spot. We ordered a variety of things to get a taste and was not disappointed. The lean brisket, turkey and jalapeño sausage was fantastic and our sides of green beans, potato salad, and slaw were tasty. Plenty of seating and a fun industrial vibe. Definitely recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit today. Todays visit made it my second time dining at this establishment. The food, service and ambiance are well balanced and 100% maintained... leaving no room for complaints. A bustling restaurant with a well-thought-out marketing plan. Stop by and try the chicken. Went to Miller’s smokehouse today to get a pulled pork sandwich. It wasn’t too busy and I was able to get my sandwich pretty fast. The one thing I really didn’t like was that they assign you a table and you don’t get an opportunity to know where that table is going to be.As a highly sensitive person I have sensitivities to light sound and view what I’m looking at and when I have my back to people or I’m facing them. I was coming in for a quick sandwich so I didn’t ask to change tables or anything but this was some thing that I really do not like at all.I will probably still return to Miller’s as my mom said it was the best barbecue in town. However, I would ask to sit in a specific place ahead of time now that I know how it works and if they weren’t able to accommodate that I would not eat here again.The sandwich was pretty good I would like to have had some spicy or barbecue sauce or some Tabasco. I didn’t see any around I was kind of in a hurry so it wasn’t a big deal but it would’ve been nice to have an option of barbecue sauce offered to me when I ordered if they have any options.

I can keep this very simple. This should be a tourist spot or a Guy Fieri place of visit. In my opinion hands down the BEST Bar B Que place in town.

Hometown eats and drinks meets modern style! Restored space is attractive and comfortable.We went for breakfast. Two spacious seating areas welcome you and your party. The coffee bar had the yummiest Autumn Spice 🍂 latte with an amazingly full taste without overpowering flavor with a touch of sweetness.The restaurant boasts an old fashioned meat counter, draft beers and specialty coffee drinks. Check in at the outdoor station and listen to the directions of where to go inside.They bring your food to the table after ordering at the breakfast coffee bar or the meat counter for lunch and dinner. The friendly servers sure seem like they are smiling behind their covid masks.Our food was great and unique. The pancakes are sweet and don’t even need any syrup. The sausage egg sandwich bread is light and fluffy. Avocado toast is on crunchy thick toast and has bacon with poached eggs. Mmmmmmm …Bathrooms are cute and clean. Family accessible and each stall is its own little bathroom. Each stall has its own theme - seriously a place to go checkout the restrooms just to see how cute they are!Family friendly with high chairs, plenty of space and lots of simple but fabulous options.Come enjoy the revitalized downtown restaurant across from the Beltonian theater Belton TEXAS.

We had a great experience at Miller’s Smokehouse. We tried the brisket, sausage and chicken with coleslaw and potato salad. Everything was delicious!I really liked the fountain drink selection: fresh brewed tea, standard cola drinks, and tasty draft soda (Stubborn Draft)We went for Sunday lunch…We waited about 25 minutes to order, and received a table number as soon as we placed the order. Our food was brought out quickly after. The restaurant was pretty busy, but everything was smooth! There were also lots of people calling in orders to pick up, so that’s great option!All of the employees were very friendly and helpful.

This place is absolutely amazing!! Brisket, chicken, sausage all were top notch. Mac and cheese was so good.Got a chance to go out back and check out their pits and talk to the Pitmaster for awhile as well. Truly a great experience!

The brisket was the show stopper for me. The pickles were a turn off since I am highly allergic but nobody asked me if I wanted pickles or onions. The Pinot beans were spicy needed some meat in them but overall they were delicious. The potato salad was very bland but if the meat is good who cares about the sides. The customer service was nice and the atmosphere seemed customer friendly. I will return for the brisket. I loved the organization and social distancing definitely a great price for the food

The food tasted greatGREAT Texas BBQ Get there early they ran out of ribs . The portions were pretty small for being a Texas Smokehouse. But the taste was great. I wish they served more.. the banana pudding is worth getting so good

Found a place that rivals Rudy’s. The food was excellent. I tried the bigun sandwich which is made up of multiple types meat….sausage, brisket, and pulled pork. I highly recommend this sandwich can’t wait to try it again. Was going to try their ribs but they were already out for the day even though it was only 12 noon. They also have a variety of desserts that were just as delicious. You can eat in, order curbside, or pickup yourself. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.😋
