9495 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19114, United States, Philadelphia
Casual sports-pub chain with basics from bar snacks to steaks & a large selection of tap beers.
Left after using the rest room. Very strong pungent odor and unkept. Discretely let the hostess know and her reply was, ‘yeah we get a lot of complaints about that’.
great service ! our waitress Mackenzie was just getting done and stayed just to serve us ! great food !
Good experience. Food was good. We sat in screened patio like area. Lots of football. Jukebox was turned up a little too loud. Manager lowered volume. Menu is loaded with sodium
All was well during the lunch session, Hope the server provided very good service. Hope even brought my cell phone out to me after I left it on the table. Hope did Millers Ale House proud
WoW what slow and mediocre service. Hardly anyone here and the waiter is treating us like we are in Siberia. I swear he put us on the ‘pay no mind list’. I called the restaurant front hostess station. She answered and I told her I was behind her. She eventually walked down to us. I asked where is the waitstaff. She left to find him. He basically ran by saying you all look good. The manager showed up after we asked. Took about 10 mins for a shell shocked woman to show up. All we wanted was another round of drinks. The bartender came back with her with the drinks. Note, the waiter was still MIA. I will not be returning for any Eagles games. Food is good. Service is ‘non existent’As an add on, at halftime we paid the bill and drove over to Buffalo Wild Wings. I try and write honest reviews. I am sympathetic and aware of staff shortages. I can see when a place is packed and I make sure to ask when the food arrives if anything we need I ask then. Servers and staff are on the run. And coming back to check can take a bit. I also order another beer if I am halfway through with the expectation that the bartender may be alone and busy. I am not unreasonable and demanding 5 star treatment in a Pub style place. But, when your staff is nonexistent I am going to leave and find another place. If I wanted to wait on myself I would stay home with my Grill and drinks.
The service was fabulous as well as the food I got the ribs best I ever had right hand to the big man great place to bring your family.
We were just going in for lunch today and everything was a mess. The order was messed up, where we asked for a mixed of two sauces and we only got one, one of the orders we placed never came for us until we had to ask for it, the Mac and cheese zingers were not properly made, and on top of that we got the wrong bill.It would be different if there was some attempt to rectify what happened but all we had was a bland apology.Don’t waste your time going here. Try someplace else.
This location has really gone down hill. The last few times weve been there, weve waited a long time for our food even though it wasnt crowded. The drinks are have been very weak. This visit we asked for our wings to be well done and watched the server write it down. Not only were they not well done, they were the exact opposite. Our server was new but very good. Food was good as well.. but overall, we wont be returning anytime soon. Well drive extra 20 min and go to the willow grove location.
Horrible service. Staff never took our order after 20 minutes of sitting there. This is after the hostess asked us to move for a undisclosed reason to another table that wasn’t cleaned off. I had to ask another staff member to clean it off. Meanwhile everyone else in the place was being served. Racism staff!!!! Do not eat here……
Second time there. Both times my food came out cold and not fully cooked. Service was good until I complained then I started getting looks. This place is good for a drink and that’s about it.
Ordered takeout via Google. Food was very good, and was ready before I got there at the pickup time.
The waitress did not introduce herself. The establishment smelled like onions. They did not have mint for adult beverages. They need better management.
Average food, service below average. 11:30am on a weekday, ample staff, no crowd. Took them a while to greet/seat us and take our order. Drink order was not fulfilled completely, waiter came back because he forgot our food order and then still put it in wrong. Someone in my party ordered a chicken tender salad which arrived as a chicken tender platter. Waiter took it back to “add some lettuce” and then we had to remind him 5 minutes later. My chicken BLT sandwich was good. My wife’s veggie burger was uninspired. Fries were good. Lunch was expensive given the service and mediocre food.
This is the 3rd millers me and my wife has been to and still enjoy coming to a millers. I ALWAYS order the Zingers mountain melt and has never been disappointed in it.......accept the price. Its now $15 and I remeber when it was only $10-$11.........wow, typing that made me feel old...My wife ordered chicken garlic scampi bake and she enjoyed it but wished it had more chicken for the $15 price tag it has.If your looking for a new beer, give the "dragons milk" beer a try. Its really light but REALLY good.
My experience was wonderful. I have been to Millers for years now and always had a great experience. The food is great, service amazing, ambiance fun. This specific time was was absolutely wonderful. I ordered to go and one of my orders were wrong when I got home, I called to let them know, they made me a fresh batch, and gave me an ice cream for the inconvenience. They are amazing and understanding!
Nice atmosphere, food was great and I will definitely go back. Waitress was friendly and service was fast.
Love eating on the patio ("sports bar"section of the restaurant. The tables were easily rearranged to accommodate our party of 8, including ample room for my sister-in-law who is in a wheelchair. The food is always good and our server was a real sweetheart!
We were disappointed that with all the beers they carry that they didnt have Rolling Rock. The parmesan garlic chips were okay. We both had burgers and they were very good as were the fries.
I dont normally find anything special about pubs or pub fare. If youve been to a Bennigans youve been to them all. That said, theres something good about Millers. I cant put my finger on it, but I really enjoy going there.Theyve got a friendly, well trained staff and good food options.I dont think youd ever be disappointed by them. Solid, pleasant pub.
Fav spot to chill, eat wings and drink margaritas with the bestie. Our favorite bartender BB is awesome, served us once (the first timeand 2 weeks later we returned and she remembered exactly what we were drinking... its history now we go every so often and it feels great everytime.
How does a long working day end? Yes. With burger and beer. Great restaurant with an excellent service and a huge selection of beers
I cannot say enough about how enjoyable the dining experience was for my daughter and I this evening at the Millers restaurant on the Roosevelt Boulevard in Philly! As busy as it was, the service we received from Jacee was fantastic! She really exhibits professionalism and clearly has a passion for what shes doing! Jay was upbeat, kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and patient! She had other tables but never failed to make sure we didnt need anything.Kudos as well to Erica! She is always exactly what a bartender should be: welcoming, engaging with her guests, and always looks like she’s enjoying herself. Her positive attitude is infectious! Our food was delicious! I had a Filet Mignon with a shrimp side that was cooked a perfect ‘medium.’ In almost every chain restaurant I’ve ever been to, the kitchen staff is notorious for overcooking steaks and burgers. Big props to the kitchen staff though, they absolutely nailed every item on my plate. It was all delicious. To Steve (General manager), I cannot say enough about how enjoyable our dining experience was! Congratulations on building an excellent staff and maintaining a clean, inviting, atmosphere.Jacee and Erica hold the Gold Standard for Customer Service! I will be making a return trip soon!
Food was just OK, a lil.salty and the drinks even with an added shot was weak. The pasta which looked appetizing and was recommended by the waitress came out dey and with two different noodles. Yuck
Always a great go to place. The food is good. The drinks are decent. Prices are average. Floors are frequently sticky and it could be a little cleaner. The staff tend to be very nice. I have never had a poor customer service experience.
I always have such a great experience when I go to Millers. Most of the servers are great. I bring my family here all the time. It is one of our favorite spots. I do wish that they would bring back the "full" menu that was shortened during COVID though. When I sit at the bar I absolutely love BB and Erica. They keep you laughing and feeling included the whole time youre there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a good time. It is a good family restaurant but also a great adult restaurant as well if youre not bringing the kids.
I went for lunch on a Monday with a friend of mine..the hostess didnt acknowledge my existence for 15 minutes, and then neither did the bartender once I decided to sit at the bar. Finally, after about 30 minutes, we got to order. It took forever for the food to come out and when it did, mine was WRONG and dried out. Then we overhear some woman questioning the bartender about what was wrong with my order etc. And I then waited an Additional 30 minutes for a new, correct order to come out. As a cook, I get that things happen, but making me wait almost 2 hours for zinger mac n cheese to come out is just unacceptable. Millers is usually a great time but this location is an absolute joke
Some of the food was ok. Unfortunately thats the only good thing I can say. It took forever for them to take our order. We got calamari as a starter, when they finally brought it out, we still didnt have napkins or silverware. I asked for plates to split our appetizer on, and we were given plates that were still wet, and one of them was dirty. My girlfriends salad came out with half of the lettuce brown and barely any dressing. We actually sent that back and asked that it be removed from the bill, which we never do, but it was just a poor excuse for a salad. What seemed like a lifetime later my entree came out. I had steak fajitas. The tortillas were grilled to the point that they werent soft any more. I made 1 fajita and ate it slowly and finished it before my girlfriends entree finally arrived. She said her "Big Red" chicken sandwich was actually quite good. When we finished eating it took a LONG time before they finally brought us the check, and then another LONG time before they came and took the check from us. The entire 2 hours or so we were there, the waitress only asked once if everything was good/to our liking(actually she asked, "you guys are cool right?" And that was when we asked for the check). This was a top 10 worst dining experience of my life. I have had better experiences at other Millers locations, but I will absolutely not be back to this location for many years if ever. Absolutely awful.
One of my favorite places. Love the beautiful babe bartenders. Nashville Hot Zingers and the Black & Blue Burger are awesome! Delicious food. A must visit.
Went the other day with my family for dinner and we had an awesome time. The food was good, the environment was good, ample amount of space but Im giving 4 stars cause when we walked in and were being seated, the floors were extremely sticky. Im sure they have a lot of traffic but they need to do a good job cleaning the floors.
We haven’t been here in a while I needed someplace to go a little later in the evening, since a lot of places close early now. My daughter got the zinger macaroni and cheese and I got the zinger MountainOr whatever it’s called. It’s the cheese fries with the zingers on top. Our waitress asked what sauce we wanted on the zingers and we let her know. It took a little while for the food to come out and that was fine. As we were eating our food… We realized neither of us had sauce on the actual zingers. Which is the whole point of making them zingers! LOL! The chicken itself was fine so we didn’t bother saying anything as we probably won’t be back anytime soon but. It’s their signature thing… How can you forget to put sauce on the actual chicken??? Anyway other than that the service was decent.
I have patronized a couple times but tonight I had the WORST SERVICE & TREATMENT, not only from the waitress but another staff member. 1st we waited 15-20 mins before ANYONE even asked us what we wanted to drink. 2nd she took the appetizer order and came back quickly to ask us our entree order. Another 20-25 wait for the appetizers and the side salad (which should’ve come out with the entreeAGAIN waited so long for the entrees we had finished two appetizers!! Food comes 25-30 mins later. She asked once if we needed refills & if we were ok. Another couple is seated and they were greeted quickly given drinks and she had a whole conversation with them IGNORING my polite gesture to let her know we needed take out boxes. She brings the boxes and gives us the check and say “NO RUSH” LITERALLY 3 mins later her coworker comes over and says are you ready to pay as we were gather TIP money that the waitress did not deserve. So as we are leaving because I was curious to know why we were told no rush and RUSHED! The coworker says “She went on a smoke break and asked me to get the money” mind you she has a very disgusted look on her face as she is speaking to me. I asked her why she was looking like this and tell her that we were told not to rush. She rudely says something under her breath rolls her eyes and walks off. I TRULY hate to pull the race card but we were THE ONLY people of color in this establishment at this time & watched as everyone else got prompt and polite service. I will be making a formal complaint. I’m very humble and that is what calmed me into just walking away. But it was a terrible service and experience.
Order the blackened shrimp and chicken salad and it’s missing half of the ingredients missing eggs and two different types of cheese…I ordered it without bacon and red onions
The waitress brought me the wrong sandwich which I didnt realize until the boss came to the table and told me. No big deal. She gave me a $10 coupon which was really nice
Really nice place to chill. Got a Titos strawberry lemonade. Calamari for appetizer. Grilled salmon and chicken fettuccine alfredo for entrees. Everything was good. It was a very satisfying meal. Nothing was overpowering or awfully strong tasting which is to my liking. If you like strong dishes with a punch, the ones I ordered are not for you. The salmon was surprisingly good. I was iffy about ordering here but turned out amazing, cooked perfectly.
Great food and experience. The server I had Shianne made it all the better. She made sure I was taken care of and was there for anything I needed. Will definitely ask for her on my next visit!
Met a great friend for lunch. Service was a bit slow but I was on my lunch break so maybe it was just me being impatient.Ordered steak fajitas medium rare which most places get wrong. Asked for mushrooms and jalapenos mixed in.They did not disappoint! The steak still has some red in it the jalapenos had my coughing at the table!Service was great and waitress was very attentive.
Ordered a steak medium rare and it was served over well done very disappointed. And although the Manger insisted on making me another one personally I was over it. Wings were good and crispy staff was nice
Been coming here for a while now and my last two visits has been disappointing. Food is delayed; flavor is gone. They burnt chicken tenders; like how! My daughter asked for well done steak; they gave her medium rare. I dont know if they have new cooks; but they need to be retrained. Something has gone wrong in the kitchen because I never had this problem before....
The food was great, the service was quick... the waiter made sure my kids food was out quick so they can start eating right away and not complain about their food.
It was great to go back. Our waitress was awesome but I forget her name but she was dark hair very very sweet and she knows a gentleman by the name of Marty he was funny. We were there around 4:45 and sat at the first booth near the bar. The bartender delivered our wings and was very funny. We loved the waitress so much. We will definitely be back. Had a great time.
I went on a Saturday evening so it was a little wait but the service was great and the food was awesome 👌
The food is usually good at Millers but I was disappointed with their delivery. They need to double check their orders before they leave the door. The burger I ordered was supposed to come with lettuce tomato onion and pickle. They forgot them. I also asked for ketchup packs and they where missing as well. I will go back to them but want to spread awareness to do triple check on anything people order.
Sat at the bar where Brianna M served us. She made me a top shelf LIIT that was amazing. The mozzarella sticks are a compliment, to the awesome black and blue burgers we had.Give Brianna her props if you sit at the bar.
So this was my first time, and cons it’s clean and okay for the price and service was good. But when I got my salad (even tho it said sodium warning they should probably but 3 warning signsit was so salty and after I added Cesar dressing it only made it worse. So tomato, egg, onion and greens (for most partslooked fresh. And okay amount of chicken, but with shrimps it either quality or quality. So they went with neither, 5 small shrimps that tasted okay not sure what is blackened part means tasted burned ( not like super burned). Cheese was basic nothing special. I might might not go there again.
Ok food most of the time, but the place is pretty dirty and the bathrooms are one of the most disgusting I’ve seen in a long time. The only way they get that way is a complete lack of management. Time for a new GM. Lost my appetite after going there to wash my hands.
Im from Virginia visiting. Millers...Its a decent place for food and definitely beer 🍺 😋 I had the 1/2 rack of their tasty ribs...the mashed potatoes were slammin along with the cole slaw. If Im back in the area I will definitely revisit a Millers...this is the 3rd Millers that Ive been to while traveling. My 1st two were in NJ and this 3rd time in the Philly area. Definitely for anyone, its worth checking out 🤟😎👍
The ultimate sports bar. A perfect spot to watch the game. Every seat is a great seat to see the game. The food is better than your typical bar and pub food. Our food was surprisingly delicious and we left interested in coming back to try other menu items.#fallynsfoodieexcursions#phillyweekendtripfun
Great, unique restaurant!First off, Ive been here before for the ribs (full rack o barbecueand I dont know... They werent the best. That was last time. But today.. my goodness, I had the BEST STEAK I have ever tasted in FOREVER earlier this evening. I got an 8oz. sirloin (which tonight was too littlecooked Medium and it was perfect. I wanted more! I opted to get some add ons to the steak (caramelized onions, etc.and it was perfect. This steak was better than what Ive had at steak houses. My wife got the shrimp scampi and even that was good. Im not all into pasta meals at restaurants because they always taste the same. Pasta is pasta, whether you are home, the Olive garden, or Italy. Its the sauce that makes the dish (right? food buffs, please dont kill me). But her shrimp was fantastic.Additionally, the decor is wonderful. Very clean.. A polished, stained wood bar/ furnished restaurant awaits you and a date, or booths and tables for the family, plus LOTS OF TVs sporting.. well, sports, for your entertainment (I didnt capture all the TVs in the pictures, but theres so much more than what I took).Go here and enjoy the decor, the drinks, and the food, because you will!
We visited on Saturday night, the place was overcrowded and we had to wait around 20 minutes for a table to clear up.The food was amazing and the waitress was nice. I would highly recommend Miller’s Ale House.
I have been here at least 15 times. This particular time I went with a coworker for dinner. We were seated very quickly at about 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. Our server was good but could have been a little more attentive. I ordered the spinach dip, fried cauliflower and a cheeseburger. Spinach dip was ok, taste good for a microwave app from a restaurant. The fried cauliflower could have been better. It was fried in a liquid batter type coating. They put a Korean teriyaki sauce on it but it needed more on the side in my opinion. The burger was ordered medium and actually came out medium. It was not the best burger I ever ate but was pretty good and I would not hesitate to order again.
