Description
Privilege
Lovely place, overlooking the river. Pretty enjoyable dishes for every hour. Menu mentions what is available depending on time, so you wont be disappointed. Staff is polite, helpful and attentive. Food is delicious! A must stop!
MoreA bit hectic service but I get it - we rocked in as a big group including 3 kids which doesnt make the waitress life easier. After calming down we ordered sixteenth types of dishes but everyone enjoyed the hot chocolate and pastry of their choice. The freshly made croissants were on a high demand that day. I tried their breads out of the oven and really liked some of them with in-house-made hazelnut and chocolate spread.Nice place for breakfast or brunch but definitely in smaller groups 😉
MoreNice place for afternoon lunch had very unique pulled beef lasagna and nice coldBeer beautiful location. Looking at the river bridge and the gutsch house
MorePerfect place for breakfast
I can’t tell about the food, we just drank. Housemade ice tea wasn’t that good in spite of the price. The « aperol spritz » is good (10 CHF).The situation of the terrace is nice, calm. If you choose to sit inside, you can take a table near the river which provides you a great view.
MoreAmazing food coupled with a breathtaking view, awesome service. We had the Knusperli (troutand the Louisiana Cajun Dip alongside with a tap beer and matcha latte.
MoreReally pretty local with a beautiful interior. I would say that the prices of food was a little bit to high for the qu’altitude Od food and size of the dishes. It was nice but nothing special.
MorePerfect place to come for breakfast!!!We loved sitting inside by the window (with the river view)! The food and coffee were delicious, and at particularly reasonable prices
More3 star food, 5 star location. We loved sitting inside next to the window and looking at the river & ducks.
MoreA cute cafe/restaurant with views of the lake. We went for breakfast. Portion size are tiny for the price but the food is good. You have to request for an English menu. Plain bread is self serve. Servers are nice. They charge for a glass of tap water (2CHF). It is better to spend a couple more CHF just to get still or mineral water since it tastes better.
MoreVery nice restaurant but as a warning just know that they unfortunately didn’t accept American Express so it’s a little difficult to pay….
MoreAmazing, friendly staff, delicious food, and gluten free options ✌🏻😋😋😋thanks..the best place in the old town ♥️
MorePerfect breakfast spot to start your day. The restaurant has great selection of egg menus with a fusion/twist. Highly recommend breakfast spot in Lucerne
MoreGreat spot with lots of foot traffic and nice view of the bridges. Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Service was friendly and quick. The burger was too soggy and flat for my taste
MoreExcellent breakfast with great view and super courteous waiters and waitresses.👌
MoreHad very cool and nice waiter, near was beautiful river and view, met a nice european coot family thru the window and made friends with them.P.S. the food was also VERY good (had a beef lasagna:DD10/10 would recommend, just have some bread to feed the bird family thru the window
MoreI came for dinner I ordered green salad it wass really full of balsamic and olive oil it’s not that good really!! I ordered fries and fish and chips truly the fish was sooooo fishy!!! Salmon was okay! And the waiters was very very rude!! She’s the one with short ash brown hair! I really was just asking about the menu and when I ask her for something she will act madly!!! Is she being racist or something!!!! I just needed a little but of explanation on the menu she totally wasn’t much of help !! I was planning to come again because i know the restaurant has good breakfast not gonna lie and Have nice view but not coming again and feel unwelcome in the restaurant!!!
MoreNice place. Eat inside next to the river or outside at the mostly-pedestrian tables on the street. Good food cooked fresh so not a fast-food place. I recommend the ceviche.
MoreVery nice views. Food was good, but expensive for the amount of food you get
We tried a dozen of the plates suggested in the menu : everything was perfect. There’s a real chef behind these dishes. Waitresses are organized and the place is lovely. We will come back for sure !
MoreThe food is ok (rather simple but has a hipster-y twist to make it look goodbut its the location of course that brought me back to Mill’Feuille with my friends who are visiting. This time around the manager or lead waitress was extremely rude. We are English speakers but my friends and I speak and understand German… it wasn’t worth going there and having someone make comments and essentially talk trash while getting our food ready.
MoreGreat place for a delicious breakfast! We went there for 2 out of 3 days in Luzern. The oven eggs with ham and cheese together with a hot apple juice is a hit and something that will keep you going for a long time when youre about to discover the beauty of Luzern ❤️
MoreA lovely spot for a light lunch. We had the pulled beef lasagne and the fried fish, both delicious, finished with tasty desserts. I wouldve liked to try the ragout that seemed most Swiss, but they only serve that after 6pm.Service was prompt and great, and a gorgeous spot by the river.
MoreChic restaurant with nice food. Tried the Lucern beef flank; the meat and sauce are both nice.
MoreVery nice place with a lovely view! They offer a big variety of different menus on their card. In my opinion the prices for the breakfast menues are to high. The waiters are friendly and the place is clean.
MoreVery nice restaurant 👌 with option for Vegan❤️.It is on the bank of Luzern lake. Spectacular view. Most important the staff dealing was really delighted.I enjoyed the hot chocolate. I will recommend to have it without cream. Cream is just like Vanila ice cream
MoreLovely place but quite packed always and loud, food is good and the people working there are super friendly.
MoreWalking distance from Lucerne Bahnhofplatz overlooking a water body, have seating arrangements inside and out in open. Tried chai latte which was too good and enjoyed till the last drop.Overheard people admiring their lunch and breakfast will try when I get a second chance.Hey the staff was too sweet all five stars for them.
MoreWhat a delight! This place is a must for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts. Beautiful location next to the river and the dishes are fascinating, in style and taste! We arrived on a very busy day, but the team there made sure to provide us with a table as soon as there was one available. Excellent choice while visiting Luzern!
MoreThe location is perfect, next to the river where you can see the beautiful view. They have great options for breakfast such as bagels, croissant etc. I and my friend enjoyed it although my hot chocolate came with powder. I hope they can make a better hot chocolate.I liked this place for breakfast so I came back for lunch but they didnt have good choice this time. Whatever I showed the pics, they didnt have them already and I chose fried fish and french fries which cost 30 francs and it was too salty.
MoreMy favourite breakfast in Luzern. Great menu with good prices too. Service is always on point and it location is perfect
MoreVery nice place to sip a drink and eat something. The staff is also very friendly and pleasent
MoreOne of best spot to have drinks with friends.Food: it’s average.Service: very friendly and helpfulAtmosphere: great with mixed culture between people
MoreDelicious food, very friendly staff and nice atmosphere! Came here for dinner and breakfast, both were great. Their oven baked egg is a must to try if you want something special so is beef lasagna. Cappuccino is properly made like in professionell coffee places. Reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food you get. Highly recommend to visit!
MoreAbsolutely delicious! The serving was really really nice and friendly, spoke English. They had “Zacusca”, a romanian paprika-like dish, which was amazing, even to romanian standards! The main thing that won us was the crispy fish sticks with some great sauce.Overall, will come here again once in Luzern!
MoreAmazing breakfast - take the train to Luzern if in Zürich for a perfectly peaceful stroll and see everything hidden around town. Just the walk to MillFeuille from the train was incredible.
MoreCasual yet romantic restaurant. Dinner was good, but nothing too special. I think most people come here for brekkie as that menu was more extension. One thing not to miss here is the layered dessert known as the millfeuille. Location is right by the river.
MoreWOW! I cant say enough good things about this restaurant. It came highly recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint. The food and service were both excellent. We had the Beef Flank Steak and Poached Char Filet. Both were great portions and extremely tasty. We got a great table outside next to the water, which was very romantic as well. Id absolutely recommend this restaurant to other travelers.I hope that readers will find my review and photos helpful.#TabesTravels
MoreFood was quite good. Sat in the bar area (preferredas there was no room in the dining area. Hostess told me there was no room. "Can I sit there (pointing to open 2-top in bar area)." "Oh, sure!"Taking off a point for service which was slower and less friendly than it should have been.
MoreSeems to be a popular spot for breakfast as there were several reserved tables. We were lucky enough to get a table by the window with a view of the water. The food was very reasonably priced and super fresh and delicious! I ordered the homemade waffle and a hot chocolate.
MoreLove the view that was facing the stream. Friendly staff. We ordered a beer and a cafe latte. The beer came with simple bar snacks (on the house), and a small chocolate along with the cafe latte. We spent about 13CHF in total for the two drinks.Tip: do ask for an english menu.
MoreFantastic! We tried both waffles (one with chocolate cherries and the other with plum and cranberry compote), the birchermuesli with fresh berries and apples, and the Ei Mill’feuille. Highly recommend the Mill’Feuille Fruhstuck with comes with a choice of breads with jam and 3 of the breakfast menu items. Well worth the cost. Everything was delicious 😋Best part was sitting outside on the patio right near the water. This was the best chill place to hang out and watch the locals. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. There is a reason this place has so many good reviews.Highly recommend making reservations as it does become quite busy. And you can ask ahead for a table inside by the windows that open to the water or outside right by the water 👍🏻♥️
MoreThe menu has supposed allergen information on it, but beware, my German speaking friend followed up on it due to the seriousness of my sensitivity, and the allergen information wasnt fully correct. Food was made properly though after follow up and I didnt get sick.Service was slow, food was good. Friend who has been back in Switzerland for three years said the coffee was the best she and her husband had since returning.
MoreVery nice restaurant with great food, friendly staff and nice view of the river. Make sure you ask for the English version of the menu.Descent beer variety and tasty fish dishes.Prices are reasonable for the area. Paying with credit card using contactless, was not a problem.
MoreUgh read so many good reviews and was so disappointed. Came for a late breakfast/early lunch and got the saddest meatloaf sandwich. The consistency was like all the worst parts of mystery meat shaped into a rubbery rectangle. Latte was no better than something from a Nespresso if even that. Really cute spot and interior design but I guess it’s style over substance.
MoreThis came up as a suggestion for good breakfast places in Lucerne, and it certainly did not disappoint. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and great selection. They graciously accommodated our request for a vegetarian bagel which they made with this amazing herb cream cheese. Waffle was okay, they dont serve any maple syrup strangely, so we had ours with honey. Local cola was great too. Highly recommended!
MoreVery nice and cozy place near the river. Excellent for a breakfast or lunch. At night for dinner, they have more fancy dishes. Everything was delicious and the service super good.
MoreTrendy bar & restaurant in a beautiful location. Unfortunately the service is very slow, but friendly. The food is good and sometimes original but nothing to write home about. The prices can be quite steep, such as the 8.- for olives (4 big ones and a few smaller ones in olive oilas aperitif and 9.50 for 1 liter of trap water!! (we also consumed other drinks, including alcohol). All in all it was a nice experience but I would not necessarily go out of my way to come back.
MoreThe place is nice and the location beautiful just next to the river Reuss. We had a brunch there, you will have well enough food and the service is very nice. The quality of the ingredients is correct. No wow effect but a nice address for a good brunch not that expensive.
MoreGreat location, beautiful surroundings. Seems like local fancy place to be. Prices are high, service should be better. Overall this place is good to visit and highly recommend
