Large pizza menu with other Italian dishes served in a light-filled room with Mondrian-style decor.
Worst pizza I ever had in my entire life. So I stopped eating it. The dough was undercooked and the ingredients mediocre.
Very delicious pizza, great atmosphere. But what’s the best: they are very vegan friendly and have an extra menu (in addition to the regular onefor vegans.
Great service in Milano Dawson street on Saturday. Food was great but Daniel our waiter was amazing. Took in all my kids dietary requirements like a pro. Absolutely handled a few busy hours without fault. Thanks Daniel. Food was great but you made it A+++
The food is good but the staffs was to busy, not very kindy so just good food.
Had a great meal. Super service with our waiter Peter. Thanks for a memorable meal with kids.
Consistently well made pizzas with lovely crisp base (RomanaGreat staff who work hard to ensure your visit is memorable. Our waiter, Peter, was friendly, welcoming and efficient.
Excellent! From the moment we arrived Asia greeted us with a smile and, as it was quiet she pushed two tables together to give myself and my friend more space. Asia looked after us so very well although she had no idea we both had come from cancer treatment that morning! She made our day brighter! The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely come back as soon as we can.
Very nice dinner and Thomas our waiter was very pleasant a nice mix of attentive but not over bearing! Thank you.
Thin crust pizza was yummy 😋though Dough balls was very plain to taste!
I went into town yesterday to have lunch with a working friend (Im retired). It was a rainy day and all up and down Dawson Street, people were queuing and getting wet or huddling under inadequate awnings. So we were thrilled to go into Milanos and find an oasis of warm and dry calm.We were given an excellent table (not always the case with two women diningand excellent service (dittoby our friendly, helpful, and efficient server, Peter. The food was first-rate -- we each had pizzas, carefully prepared to our individual specifications. I had a large glass of really good Soave (I did say that Im retired!at a exceptionally reasonable €8.45.We were served efficiently but not hurriedly, and my friend was able to get back to her office on time, while I lingered over my espresso. All in all, a most enjoyable experience that we will look forward to repeating.
Gary is the top G, loved the pizza, loved the service.Gary gets a 10, and his service gets an 11/10 ;)Next time, I want him to feed it to me by hand. Thanks,Love, Conan
Great food and great service from our waiter Thomas. Also a great coeliac friendly menu! Gluten free pizza and Eton mess desert were delicious. We will be back :-)
Saturday afternoon lunch as we arrived in Dublin, easy walk from Buswells Hotel, food and service were excellent 👌 Staff is friendly and polite. One of the best pizzas Ive had.
Daniel C. Lovey lad, served us 2 pizzas when we ordered the one! (Only because they didn’t have a large gluten free base lolvery attentive and super friendly, good luck with the cinematic music bud 👍
Thomas was our server and he was lovely. Easy to talk to and gave us a free scoop of the fantastic watermelon sherbet! Great experience! Would definitely recommend.
Daniels, Tamas, Tania and Gary made a special dinner with my alcoholic workmates, we got a lot of fun and we met all the handsome staff in the kitchen. Thank you so much for supporting us, Ill never forget that delicious dinner in Milanos Dawson. See ya soon 🍻
Our server Renato was amazing! He took great care of my husband and I and was very friendly. He made us feel very at home and made our last day in Ireland fantastic! Restaurant drinks and food were wonderful.
Restaurant is very clean and fancy, service precise and fast. in particular, I would like to commend Daniel who has provided a professional and smooth service :))
We had a fabulous meal today. We had an extremely helpful waiter, Peter, who helped to make our experience fantastic. We will definitely be returning soon.
UPDATE 8/16 -- Just wanted to say that of all the restaurants we could have gone to in Dublin, we went back to Milano *again* on our last night there. I wasnt aware until we saw the Milano in Swords (didnt go to that onethat the restaurant is actually a chain. But one wouldnt guess it from the quality of the food and service. We stopped in Iceland for 3 days on our way home, and our kids would say things like, "We need to find a place like Milano." Not sure well be back in Dublin for a few years, but thatll be on our Must Do list. Thanks again!Visiting from Seattle with fairly picky teens who have OPINIONS about pizza. Our meal was delicious and everyone loved their orders (margarita pizzas, cannelloni, calamari -- delicious!). Kevin was an excellent server: friendly, stayed on top of our orders and needs, etc. Well definitely come back again!
Food was lovely, service was spot on. We brought our 3 children, all under 5 and werent left waiting once. Big thanks to Peter for a spot on experience!
I always go to Milanos when it’s the entire family, the food is super consistent, the kids absolutely love it, and the service is great. Yesterday was no exception when Peter took care of us when we attended as a large group of 12.
Fantastic evening at the Dawson Street branch. Food was delicious and service was very prompt. Tomas looked after us all evening and was so lovely and polite. His service alone would make us want to return. Thanks again
Just popped in for a quick bite to eat. Service was good. Peter was the waiter and was friendly and accommodating.I had the beetroot and goat cheese salad which was nice. All in all a decent visit.
service was awful. Myself and a few friends had gone out to celebrate a mates birthday. We ordered food and midway through eating, we were approached to pay the bill? We dismissed this as just a mistake and not seeing the food but we were approached twice more. Felt very unwelcome and rushed. Moreover, a friend had asked to order a beer after the bill had been paid and instead of politely explaining that this was not allowed (to serve alcohol without foodwe were met with a cold tone and a “do you understand?”. Will not return.
Very friendly, accomodating for the kids with pencils, drawing. Prompt polite service to table and then for food. Nice atmosphere and clean.Enjoyed food and would eat there again
Awesome place! After traveling for several days I landed in Dublin, and stumbled across Milano. The great food and amazing staff kept me coming back all four nights I was in town. Kevin and Asia greeted me each night with “you came back! and your table is ready”. The dinners were great…and I highly recommend the “Cafe Royal” for dessert!!!
The service fromGary was amazing. The pizza was awesome. We had dessert too! Love love it!! Thank you! Highly recommend!!
Gary was our waiter and he was stellar. Started with the dough balls with cheese highly recommended. We had the American hot pizza and all was excellent. Highly recommend, great experience.
We had a fabulous afternoon. Myself, my Mam and my nana. Kevin looked after us so well and made us feel so welcome. He was extremely accommodating to my dietary needs and helped me pick out what I could eat and it was delicious. We need more Kevin’s around. Thank you <3
Nice decor and very child friendly. Staff really nice. Service was very good. I had pizza which wasnt great. Kids meal was fine. They also have the best kids entertainment sheet I have seen yet.
Food was excellent. Our waiter, Kevin, was very attentive and friendly. We ended up going back a second time!
Lovely meal served by lovely people. Our hosts Daniel and Chelsea are truly amazing. A true pizza experience. Grazzi Milano. Keep up the good work
Lovely food. 3 of us and we ordered pollo pesto, burnt ends and pandana pizzas very nice and tasty. Only negative is I ordered a coffee at the end and it never came, hence the 4 stars. Staff friendly.
Not the same as a few years ago, not flavour and too overpriced. Okay so I had to edit this review and last time I was here two years ago I gave it five stars however I was horrified after visiting it a few days ago. First of all, two years ago I got a ceasar salad that stayed in my head since then because it was so fresh, full of flavour, the portion was big and I also got bread sticks with it. So naturally visiting Milanos again I went for the same salad and I was stunned by what I got. First of all, this aint no chicken ceasar salad. It was a mock up. Few salad leaves covering the bottom of the plate with some leafs having brown sides. Cold 4 pieces of chicken, no cheese, and full three mackerels resting on the salad. The sauce that came with it wasnt even ceasar salad dressing, it tasted like something Id get in tesco. I have never been so disappointed with a SALAD before, I mean its hard to mess it up. The salad had absolutely no flavour. A little tip to the chef, if you crush mackerels and place them into PROPER ceasar dressing, you will get creamy, garlicky dressing that will not get stuck between customers teeth. I was stinking of mackerel for the rest of the day at the office. Never coming back again to this place, its not the same as it used to be and very overpriced.
A fantastically friendly dining experience with a myriad of gluten-free options to choose from! Many thanks to Kevin for being a highlight of the evening with his indefinite service and friendly demeanor! Make sure to order the dough balls Milano - just yummy and also available as a gluten-free option!
This is 7.5€ for 4 burnt brocolli dish. Cant even imagine
The pizza was amazing. Quick service, easy ordering and fantastic cappuccino. Would absolutely eat there again.
Went to other branches of Milanos in the city before and this one certainly lives up to others great expectations. Food was lovely I had dough balls Al forno for starters of course, followed by what’s picture below the Padana pizza. Very nice staff members, and their posters were quite interesting and “punny”. Would definitely visit this branch of Milanos again.
Place has changed. Very poor attention and customer service. I guess as a result of new employees. It’s a no, I would not recommend it. You will wait too long for a single pizza, as a customer I do appreciate not wasting time.
They were honest when we walked in and said that because they were short handed our meal might take awhile. It didn’t! Pizza was freshly made and very good and our server, Peter, was very helpful!
Had a great time there, food was delicious and our server Gary was great! Friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back
Went to this restaurant after an art exhibition. Good staff very friendly and food (two pizzas and cannelloniwas very tasty.
Today 21st April we had Lunch at Milano Dawson Street! I am Coeliac and had a great choice of Pizzas to choose from !Gary was our waiter for today and was very attentive !Enjoyed every minute ,would highly recommend for anyone looking for gluten free and also normal foods!!Fab 👍
How can someone mess up so bad? Absolutely terrible. The pizza Romana is paper thin and somebody managed to burn it on the side so it breaks like a dry sheet of paper, while the whole middle is still RAW! Raw bread tasting base, very dry with no tomato sauce and no cheese on it except a few little splatters. Also shocking how the normal base is basically a small pizza and the Romana a large for just extra 2eu (should mention the inches somewhere). So disappointed, feel robbed paying what I payed for it.
I have visited Milano, Dawson Street quite a lot recently due to their extensive gluten free options. The food is consistently delicious and the service flawless. In particular, Id like to highlight the wonderful service provided by Gary who takes great pride in his work and has made every visit a real pleasure. Thank you!
My partner and I popped in for a quick bite, the service was quick and friendly and the salads were as you might expect. I was however disappointed that TWO members of staff put a small service issue on the fact there was new kitchen crew.Regardless of whether you forget the olives or not, you shouldnt be blaming the new staff in front of a customer.
I ordered BBQ Smokey chicken pizza, it was cold and taste horrible, probably this is worse pizza I ever had in my life. I also ordered chicken wings and quantity was very less. I don’t see they give value for customer and food quality.
I visited Milano Dawson Street last weekend and I really recommend. I’m not vegan but I tried the vegan and gluten-free pizza, it was amazing. They have a lot of traditional, vegan and gluten-free pizzas options. The place is amazing and the staff are super professional and kind, especially the chef Thiago.
Loved it !! Nice relaxing welcome. We had 2 beautiful pizzas, one was gluten free, both were lovely. Followed up with honeycomb cream slice, gluten free carrot cake and cappuccinos.Price was very reasonable considering the quality.Cant wait for next visit !
