Mikoyan Brothers Museum in Tovuz

If youre on your way to Sanahin Monastery, this place is worth a five-minute stop. I wouldnt exactly call it a "museum" though, its more of a memorial.

Very well documented walk through the life of those two brothers that achieved sucess in different fields (politics and aircraft design)

Музей братьев Микоян находится в селе Санааин.Музей очень красивый и интересный.У меня появились незабываемые впечатления!!!Когда я проходила мимо МиГ-29(🛩),у меня кружилась голова из-за близости и осколок самолёта ✈!Всем советую там побывать!

Small but interesting look at the 2 brothers that lived remarkable lives and impacted the 20th century. The MiG outside the main highlight though.

We visited on Sunday and the museum was closed.

Lots of history in this dusty town. The museum is a must go than you can see how the brothers made it to the top of USSR, even by killing their own🙄

We had a great tour by a local girl that guided us through the life of the two brothers

Good small museum with excellent guided tour in English included. Good location for a picnic lunch with wonderful views of the valley. Very close to Sanahin Monastery (100mso easy to include a visit here if seeing the Monastery.

Il museo dedicato ai fratelli Mikoyan che si trova nei pressi del complesso monastico di Sanahin è dedicato completamente alla vita dell ingegnere aeronautico e del politico che hanno dato tanto lustro al popolo Armeno ai tempi dell Unione Sovietica. Molto ben fatto compresa di un vero esemplare di Mig.

Hidden, but very very exciting and informative museum about the Mikoyan brothers. Extremely good guided tours offered, and although the museum itself is tiny, there is plenty to look at!

The museum is focused on the Armenian Mikoyan brothers (a soviet leader and an aerospace engineer). Their history is a means to go through the soviet time, including dark times and bright spots. The feelings of Armenians in these times are not neglected. The museum is not too big, but is well done. The real plus is the storytelling by the local staff. Highly recommended.
