Mikkeller Bar Taipei - Bar in Taipei, Taiwan
Mikkeller Bar Taipei in Taipei
Description
Very nice. This bistro is setup in a German Oktoberfest style, with a sophisticated clientele so you can have peaceful conversation with your guests. You can get a brand of draught here which is rare or impossible to find elsewhere else in Taiwan. Extremely friendly staff. This is a nice place with a air of sophistication to it.
MoreComfortable environment and special drink, even have so many kinds of beer 🍻 those beer all are characteristic taste can bring me surprise.
MoreWhat a brilliant beer journey in Mikkeller. Really admire their selection of craft beer 🍺 Especially IPA! Absolutely stunning!!
MoreMy favorite place to hang out and grab a beer in Taipei. For one, they have a really nice selection of beers around the world and local beers. The building is reminiscent of the once hustle and bustling Dadaocheng street!
MoreMore than twenty different draft beers to choose from, good bar food, helpful staff.First floor seating at the bar and spacious second floor with tables. In general, a great place to enjoy beers and hangout with friends.P.S.: you can also check and buy their merch.
MoreDraft beer and craft beer. Plenty of snacks and sharing dishes. Classic building with good seating.
MoreGreat selection of draft beers, loved the gin, beer cocktail.
International atmosphere. No tasting is offered. 680ntd for 4 small cups, makes it a little pricy.
MoreGreat beer bar in Taipei
A great bar with a large selection of beers on tap. Imports from all over the world if you cant find a drink here you in trouble. The staff are really nice and fun, youll occasionally wait an age to be served when they are busy. The hipster Mikkeller logos are everywhere, if you like that kind of thing, of course Instagram will love it.There is always a stream of merch on offer but they dont hard sell it.The food is typical bar food, not great but not bad the beer is expensive but on par with other craft beer places in Taipei. So why only 4 stars? I cant leave 4.5 but and recently theyve stopped allowing you to taste test the beers, since Taihu et al can still manage it, this is so disappointing. Honestly it is inexcusable for any good taproom, it means having a beer here has now ended up an expensive beer lottery I hope they fix it soon. That said its one of the better craft beer haunts its in an interesting area, definitely a great place to go.
MoreThe Vin Chaud is very small size but it was enough for me. Casual and relaxable place. Would like to come again!
MoreNeed try there Taiwanese beer selection.
Decent craft beers with a large variety to choose fromThe noodles tastes spectacular as well!
MoreGreat ambiance to grab a drink with friends. Many selections of brews from around the world. Ground floor has a few bar seats, second floor has more of a beer hall vibe. Bar snacks available. My Nachos took a while to come out from the kitchen so I deducted a star, otherwise, a great find in the neighborhood.
MoreMany interesting beers, though still would be nice to see some more “normal” ales perhaps.Nice Scandinavian style interior but slightly dimmer mood lighting would avoid it feeling a bit like an ikea cafeteria.
MoreVery nice place for have a craft beerAnd a night snack 😜
Nice place for having small group of activities while having various craft beer.
Just stopped by and got one type. The taste doesn’t surprise me, just a very typical larger. But I would still recommend this place if you’re around to enjoy the atmosphere and rare craft beer spot in Taipei! Bty, it’s pricey, at least from West coast view point!
MoreA Bar For Rich People?!Nice ambience on the 2nd floor away from the hustle and bustle of DiHua Jie.. but you need to bring your beers up yourself. For NT840/USD28, you get all of 4 not-cold-enough 一口碑 beers and a plate of decent chips. Beers didn’t have much of a wow factor. Certainly WONT be back as drinking is very affordable in the other 95% of bars in Taiwan. In the off chance that I find myself having a significant windfall, i would take my beer drinking elsewhere.
MoreBeer was good. Only simple snack is available. Clean and cozy place.
we can find some rare mikkeller’s and imported beer on tap at here.good stuff:)
MoreA quirky, arty vibe in a beautiful old building. We went there for a quick one on New Years Eve and the people were overflowing into the street.Delicious variety of beers on tap, even for people who might not ordinarily be beer drinkers. Well worth a visit!
MoreGreat beer selection, great vibe, and warm roasted peanuts.
Interesting beer bar with many choices of beers from various places. Good place to take a beer/snack break. Bright comfortable decor in an old building. The pork bun snack was delicious! Beer prices were a bit on the high end.
MoreA bit expensive but the beers were good and the interiors are interesting. Its located in an interesting area with a lot of traditional shops.
MoreI used to love this place but for its vibe and variety of beer but recently I struggle to find anything on the board worth paying the high price for. I suspect some not so ideal shipping/storage takes the sparkle out of some of my favorite IPAs. Whereas some of the stouts are passable. Staff is cool and friendly, snacks are good but the quality of beer is lacking in my opinion and I just cant bring myself to pay up for lackluster beer.
MoreCool place to find lots of different beers 🍻The server is a nice cute guy.
So exciting to see a Mikkeller open up in Taipei. Craft beer is amazing (its Mikkeller of courseand the price point higher than youd see elsewhere in Taipei (as I said, its Mikkeller of course). 100% go if you love beer.
MoreA cool venue. Really chill ambiance. That being said, I wasn’t really impressed with the beer selection. Too many fruit ales and sour beers when I visited. I know that’s their thing but I expected little more from Mikkeller based on recommendations from others.I would go back to give it another shot when I’m back in Taipei next time. I did have a lot beers before reaching this venue.
MoreYou know, this amazing building with:the wit beer is full of hop flavorthe faces are of hipsters.
MoreThe thing about hipster beer place is theres always this annoying someone whore taking pictures non stop. This kind of defeats the purpose of a bar - where people talked more than they take pics/look at their phone or camera.Anyway, I like the overall beer selections. Although you need to pay for Taiwanese old-skool snacks.
MorePerfectly located microbrewery that openly welcomes LGBTQ. Excellent selection of craft beers and a small food menu. A bit pricey, but delicious and great atmosphere.
MoreExcellent ambiance, beer and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We tasted a couple of beers as part of a pre dinner trip. Recommendation the outing to Mikkeller.
MoreSo much potential ...The beer is great. The music is good. The ambiance downstairs could be very good.Until they add seating to the bar downstairs this pub will never be a favourite of mine. They have a beautiful bar that could easily seat 20 people plus standing room, but has seating for 4 people. The bar is a feature. Its what you see from the street. A full happy bar is the best possible free advertising. But theres no one there because there isnt any seating. Its a bit weird. You have to buy a beer at the bar and then carry it upstairs which is entirely separate from their staff and the main bar. Its like a beer takeout place within their own bar. The upstairs design is reminiscent of a grade school classroom.Quite expensive. The rational from other reviewers that the beer is expensive because they import the beer is strange. The local Taiwan beer and the Hong Kong beer they sell are essentially the same price as the Mikkeller imports.
MoreNicely designed. Great beer. A little expensive. 100-200$ for one glass of beer. I didnt see any local people. Only foreigners.
Moreawesome local beer + mikkeller beers. nice interior. kind staff. its allowed to smoke in stairways, keep in mind if ure not a smoker. my favorite mikkeller is the one in thailand but taipei one is more accessible to tourists
MoreI recommend this Bar because there’s a lot of kind of beer, interesting foods and so comfortable place.
MoreA cozy bar that offers a variety of craft beer. You can go upstairs and spend time to chill out. Beer is a bit expensive but they offered a special promo on the New Years Eve so we paid half the price for a single pint
MoreNice beer and meat bao and sticky bun. A tad pricy though.
This place selection of beer is really good with more than 20 draft beer, some snacks and good atmosphere to take friends and have good chit chat
MoreOne of the best tap rooms in taipei. Always a fantastic selection.
Cute place with a great beer selection. Nice seating area upstairs. Be careful carrying all the glasses upstairs! No table service
MoreHuge variety of beer (IPA), very friendly staff, beautiful seating upstairs, smoking section on the balcony, and dope ass design magazines to flip through.
MoreJust went there yesterday with my friends. Its a great place to chill. Cozy and the staff are friendly!...Bottoms up, you guys!!!..🍻🍷🥂🥃
Morea lil nice surprise tucked in the "old" west district. a wide range of beer, cheerful wallart and great service. tried and loved their pork belly gua bao!
MoreOverall: 4.5/5Friendliness: awesome, chill staffQuality: great selections of imported and local beers, world-classCost: reasonable, 200-300 per small glassCleanliness: very niceAtmosphere: great (Americanmusic!!Recommend for: top notch drinks and vibes
MoreMikkeller has a nice collection of beers from around the world, most noticeably American breweries but also a couple of Taiwanese options. The ambience of the bar is also nice and chill, allowing for great conversation, a space to snack and to listen to their chill vibe music. Its nice to have a place like this in Taipei, especially in such a great area located right next to Dihua st.
MoreIf you are looking for tap beer, you knock on the right door. 23~24 kinds of tap beers and the staffs are nice and welcoming, plus the building itself is an old house, I feel comfortable spending time here.
MoreLaid-back spot. Great for a quick drink or for a great conversation. The upstairs is an open space. Love the shared bench in the middle. There are also private bar stools and tables to the side with a view of DiHua street. If you are new to craft beer, they have such a large menu that you will most likely find something to suit your taste. Feel free to ask a server for a recommendation and take a sip of a sample before you commit to one. They also have seasonal beers. Prices range from 160+ for a glass.
MoreThey have a very impressive collection of beers from all over the world. You can also find some beers from local Taiwanese breweries.
