Avoid it if you can, sheer horror

This place is okay its a little bit on the older side, but I will say it could use a little bit of remodeling.

The quality of this hotel has deteriorated significantly over the years. There were holes in the wall, smoke detectors were hanging from the ceiling and beeping from low battery, even after we replaced the battery ourselves the detector went off randomly in the middle of the night. furniture was broken, it smelled like wet dogs, other guests were obnoxiously loud, and it took 20 minutes to check out because they have to go check the state of the room before they let you leave. There were mystery stains on the walls in the lobby and a whole crowd of people standing around smoking right outside of the entry way. It was like someone tricked us into paying for a night in a trap house. I will say the sheets were clean and the pillows were decent, however, those were the only redeeming qualities. I’ll never stay here again

Midway inn has new owners.They charge $110.00 a night for rooms. With broken furniture from the previous owner.we had no toilet paper in our room when we checked in. Deposit is from $50.00 to $100.00. Theres broken parts missing on the air conditioning and in the bathroom missing vent parts. Still has some uncleanness walls. And more.cockroaches at this visit.no screen on our window.dresser has broken drawer.we had to get another refrigerator because the one that was in our room we thought was working and it wasnt even working our food almost went bad but they got us a new one. i believe for this price it should be better appearance. The new owner talked about putting a bunch of money into the video surveillance cameras. Great but thats all i see money wise put into this place so why raise the amount of rooms for rent.old owners did 77.00 a night with 50.00 deposit. So far not my 1st,2nd or 3 choice for a stay at all.

The people here seem pretty friendly this place has major potential UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP They also have an elevator thats pretty cool with a door wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs

New Owners as of Recently!!!!So!....Well, just considering the very Poor conditions of these rooms, with the major lack thereof cleaning and sanitization. From regular basic spot clean around things And a real deep elbow grease, up in the corners and creases cleaning had not been done there in no tellin how long! No cleanliness hardly at all, along with countless broken fixtures, holes in floors walls, broken pictures and frames, drawers cabinet shelves, faucets! Leaky faucets in sinks, bathrooms shower and kitchen sinks. Several rooms have many different issues, it just depends on which room they put you in. Some dont have any lamps and just One ceiling light and its not centered on the ceiling and leaves half the room dark and need to ask for a desk or floor lamp. Im not even sure if thats something theyll accommodate guests with though just saying!! Anyways I could obviously go on for Days about this motel. Especially for what the nightly cost is that they charge per room, its just a tad pricey for the condition of this Super Old motel in my opinion. Now I most definitely would Not bring my kiddo(shere nor ANY that are crawling or younger. Overall the history that goes with the photos of the Old Town of Bremerton are the best part of that place. Yes there is a laundry room takes quarters and ice machines one the First and Third floors. If they remodeling or revamped this place up though? Itd be Well worth the price for a nightly, weekly or monthly stay for sure 😃! PS. Dont get anything the towels like dirt or makeup on any of the towels or bedding or theyll chase you down in the parking lot! Even if its clearly not your face towel and you get charged for it as well. Great start for new management Id say..... 🤦🏾‍♀️🤯👎🏾

I paid a MONTH in advance on a weekly rate. My room was broken into by the owner a week into the stay while my friend were asleep. We felt uncomfortable with the situation, so we tried to tell the owner that and was greeted with a "Its just me. Be comfortable." I opted for a refund, and was refunded for a DAILY rate instead of weekly, as well as a MONTHS worth of pet deposit taken because "the room smelled weird" when there were people in nearby rooms smoking weed in a "smoke free" hotel. My money and my safety were stolen, and the owner and staff were constantly rude to us. The night time staff was the ONLY good thing that place had to offer.

Room was terribly cold and took forever to warm up

Absolutely disgusting!! The room that I just paid over $500 for a week stay is absolutely gross and I feel like Im going to have a complete melt down!

Nice place with a gorgeous view. Balcony and an adult sized bathtub. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast buffet

stayed here for a week. no breakfast to speak of. internet goes in and out. somebody had tried to come in my room while I was in it and they tried to charge me for a pet fee for no reason. if you stay here make sure you deadbolt the door

Disabled room, elevator, etc access size for full size electric wheel with motor was very poor. Door ways very narrow. Breakfast coffee not even brewed, had to wait even for coffee and it was not even 7 am yet. Very Limited choice for food, only orange juice for juice. BUT U can SMOKE IN THE ROOM.

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. This was the first hotel that I found near the hospital during a family emergency. The first night the room I stayed in was run down but clean enough. A little noisy due to heavy footsteps above. The next night I needed a room with two beds. They didnt tell me it was a smoking room or that the room had originally been taken off line for maintenance. I discovered it was a smoking room when I stopped to pick up a key. They said it was all they had and since I didnt have other options at that time I agreed to stay. I unexpectedly discovered brown sticky stuff on the phone when I tried to call to find out why I had no hanger in the room. The blankets were stained and gross. We didnt even sleep in the beds. We slept on top of the beds with blankets we had in our cars. The next morning I discovered mold on the shower curtains, the hairdryer had been ripped from the wall and the outlet didnt work. I was in the room for less than 12 hours and everything reeked of smoke. I am still trying to get the smell out of my suitcase and clothes. They did take $20 off the room rate but the amount of time and money to get the smell out of my things, including residual smell in my car is well over $20. Their response: Thats what you get for a smoking room. Next time I will sleep in my car.

We had to wait on our room, even though we waited until after 3:00 p.m. to even get there. And that was after Id called them to verify the earliest we could check in.Then, after we finally were given the room key, we went into the room only to find one of the beds not made, the sink was filthy, and garbage. And thst was after we were told the elevator not working and we were on the 3rd floor.They didnt even offer to take anything off of the bill.

To be honest its not the greatest place but you can see them trying to fix it up. They are honest and good people trying to improve their buisness.The rooms are ok, the cooking accommodations leave a lot to be desired. The stove is little more that a hot plate in the counter but it worked. We had a "full kitchenette".German cockroaches were present and I purchased glue traps as we were staying there for a month. Only cailught 6 in that time.My wife got to see them running a hooker out of the place, and witnessed someone doing cocaine in the time laundry area, so there was few dull moments.

Had a free problems when we check in,our room, but service was great and they were there to fix all problems with in seconds. The beds were great , and have stayed there before and will stay there again.

Oh my goodness, this place is GHETTO. It literally had the old Sony tube television chained to the wall, and the decor was straight from 1990 motel six. Stuffy, funky smells, and the creepiest elevator I have ever experienced. I suppose in a pinch, its better than a park bench but I would rather sleep in my car.

I was going to stay here for 3 months, I work at the hospital which is near by, but I only ended up staying for 2 weeks and then left. The owner and staff were all very polite and apologetic when I left and refunded the remainder of my money but I could not stay any longer. In the 2 weeks I was here I killed probably 30 cockroaches in my room. I was told my a coworker that they had bed bugs, I searched and couldnt find any but after about a week I started to get multiple bug bites every night. I put out some glue traps and poison but they didnt stop. I soon left after the bites started but it was still a pretty terrible experience. I had to clean everything thoroughly before I left so I didnt bring anything to the next place I was staying.

DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID BY GOING. I am so mad right now I walked in the room after paying for 2 nights while my uncle has surgery and I walk on the room and the smell of mold overwhelmed my mother and I. I went pee real quick before walking back down to the lobby and the toilet wouldnt even flush. There was mold all over the window sill and ceiling. After explaining to the lady that I could not stay there because of the mold she said she would check the room. She came back and said it was fine,I asked if I could show her where the mold was and she told me NO and that she was still charging me a $50 cancellation fee. Like really?. She also made a comment I should have looked at the room before paying. I am not picky at all. In fact Id hardly be using the room but MOLD not a chance. I cannot beleive how bad it is. On the way back to my car there was a woman and man screaming at each other fighting in front. I could not get out fast enough. I will be calling the health department Monday morning and better business bureau

Stayed first couple nights on main floor payed for two weeks ahead and then got moved to third floor elevator was out and iam 51 with lung problems and small dog who had a accident on stairwell I went back and cleaned it up and was approached by owner and tol if it happend agsin I would be asked to leave mind u I pay pet deposit of a hundred a month pet deposit smh when they moved us to third floor was downgrade nuthing was nice except the few employeesHop up

We had to schedule a surgery for my husband finding a room short notice was difficult but midway was very accommodating. They also gave us a wake up call at 400 am to make sure we made it in for his procedure. Very nice people

This is the disgusting place I’ve ever been. This beg bugs and ants in the room. There’s weird stains in the tub. It smells like smoke and weed all the time. Everything looks very old and smells gross. And there’s freaking BED BUGS!!! I’m disgusted.

I didnt spend the night at the Midway inn but the front desk was not at all helpful when I was looking for one of their customers and the place really had a feel of like the seventies just everything there was out of the 70s

I would have given a lower rating if possible. Got in at 10:50 PM and it took over 30 minutes to get checked in. The clerk thought putting supplies away was more important than taking care of a customer. When I got to the room it smelled bad. It was a non smoking room but had a dirty ashtray on the sink. It was very dark and dingy in the room. The curtains had holes in them and were torn. Had I not just driven through 6 hours of horrible traffic and it wasnt so late I would have left and found something else. However, the next morning I checked us out and found a much better place for less money for the next 3 days of our trip. This hotel needs some serious upgrading and better trained personnel.

Why would you put a poor woman out on the street with her certified service dog,Im appalled her service dog is a therapy/ service dog for her and why your establishment gave her less then a day to get out is cruel and heartless.She was homeless and put up in your establishment until she got permanent housing .I do not know who was responsible for this but this is on this hotels Manager,very poor choice to do this to a poor young lady already struggling you just turned her world upside down again, just when she had a warm ,safe place to.lie her head, you discriminated against her and her yes certified service dog because of probably some Nieve and unfriendly animal sceptics,.She does not do drugs,drink or smoke something thats rare in a poor girl struggling with major depression and PTSD.I will not forget what youve done to this poor young lady and feel the public has the right to know how you have treated an innocent ,law abiding citizen of Kitsap County.Whoever was responsible for this remember you too can end up in desperate times and I pray to God you never have the experience of being shund .Shame on you.People will forget things you said but not how you made them.feel.She was just getting back on her feet again in a wonderful program that was going to help her and her service dog get a place to call home but sounds like youve blown that for her to.Im so frustrated and beyond upset about you over reacting this poor girl offered to get her papers for you from her Dr.you are the reason Im.loosing Faith in humanity...Manager at Midway in Bremerton,WaThanks to you I will never stay in that hotel not recommend anyone not when you treated her like she was garbage just because she was low income you through her out for what? How would you know this when you didnt give her a chance to get her papers??she had no car,had to move all her belongings out in a moments notice No Thanks to you...Thankfully she had a few of her friends like me to care and count on.,she was devastated what you did to her you had no right ,you can bet Ill be talking to someone about the needless and careless action you took on her.You need People skills,Customer skills your mannerism was below what management should be respective to have, you were not professional in how you handled this,you made a mountain out of a mole hill literally.You broke this poor young ladies spirit and because of you she is outside in a tent in the rain verses staying warm and safe.Again Shame on you for your less then human act on someone whos just trying to get on her feet again,No Regard, No Respect No Compassion .. is what you showed her....btw- you arent above anyone and just tried playing God with this young ladies life..I pray she makes it now out in the cold..Dark.rainy .Forrest.She now has nowhere to go.You had a choice to do the rite thing you chose Wrong..Very wrong..Dam you to hell.

Not good. Entire building smelled like cigarette smoke, even our "non -smoking" room. Bedspread had two visible holes. Had serious questions about its cleanliness.

Not family friendly, people live here! Had we not paid for three nights up front we would have gone to another hotel. Breakfast was minimal and very sparse.

Not a fancy place by any means. But grounds, and rooms are clean. Friendly staff, and a continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again

Dirty smelly and outdated rooms with the scent of "I can get crack on the 1st floor - hookers on the second and finally have access to a great sweat shop where I can get any kind of Adidas ever made and even some that havent been made yet on the 3rd floor ( courtesy of 7yo Chang Nguyen recently trafficked from South Vietnam)do do-dododo....im lovin it"

Very friendly staff but they also work hard to keep the riff-raff down to a minimum. Pet friendly and Ive had worse "pet rooms" at LaQuinta where I spend much more money. Price is reasonable. Not a lot of room to walk dogs as it is off a very busy main street and the parking lot is - a parking lot. So pack up the 4 legged friends and drive a few short miles to Illahee State Park. Despite the hotel being very dated, it is kept as clean as possible. Access to the rooms is restricted to the main entry so fairly good security and there are cameras in the hotel. There is some covered parking but the spaces are fairly tight, good for compact or subcompact cars. They have hot fresh coffee available at all times. The "breakfast" is very basic but at least they have something - unlike many motels/hotels. Although bedding is clean, the beds are not very comfortable. As much as this hotel could use a major investment into renovations, it likely wont happen any year soon because it would be impossible to break even. So newer owners are doing the best they can with the property. With so many hotels and motels restricting animal size or not taking them at all or charging exorbitant fees, I would stay here again if I needed a place to stay with my 4 big dogs. Please clean up after your pets, especially you little dog owners who think their little dog piles are so small they dont have to be picked up. To the owners, I would recommend removing some shrubs near the main entrance by the lobby at the roadway. You need to pull out way into the sidewalk and almost on the road to see traffic coming from the left. I would also recommend placing a few more cameras in the covered and open parking areas. I would also recommend putting additional security locks or sliding bars on the insides of the room. Ive stayed in many budget motels in the past where the owners dont put any money into what remains of their business so thanks for doing what you can and taking pride in the place and having good staff.

Actually have drove by this place thousand times and have stayed at bigger & better places. But....for the price and convenience this place was fine. Had slight problem with a " neighbor " and told the front desk who in turn was very courteous and professional and had us in another room in minutes. All in all the place served its purpose and Well be back

I was simply there to visit a old friend and i arrived there on my bmx bike. Room number is to be concealed. I hate the fact they copy your Drivers license and put on file for not only the room but for permanent record.

I stay here for one night and paid $120. I would say with this price I should expect more clean rooms and better breakfast. However the room has a old/wet smell and the breakfast was very simple and crude. Next time I may choose Fairchild Marriott 1 miles away instead of this one. bTW the staff are very good and friendly, input 3 star here just because of the equipments of this hotel not worth the money I paid.

Though this hotel is small and tucked away, do not be fooled. The people who run this hotel are top notch and truly strive to make your stay comfortable. I usually stay with the Marriott but due to an influx of travelers I had to stay at the midway. I am very pleased with the service and effort from the staff and would recommend considering your next stay here. Thank you midway family!

I was upgraded because they ran out of rooms but the upgraded room was still kind of uncomfortable because it feels like Im in a spare room at a house where the host has forgotten to wash the sheets and the amenities are limited. The person who helped me at the front desk was friendly and I enjoyed seeing her action so at the very least the people who have interacted with so far at this hotel have been good people. But if youre expecting to stay somewhere that has high quality beds and Incredibly comfortable living then you are looking in the wrong place. I feel as if the cost of this hotel room is far too high for what it offers but Ive heard that other hotels in the area are worse

Pros: staff is very friendly and helpful. Offer breakfast. Cons: sketchy people as guests, loud guests, room isnt update and smells like cigarettes, not cleaned well, burnt malls in bedding and on curtains.Wouldnt start here again. The staff to is very friendly, stars are only based on that. Otherwise, this hotel is awful.

OMFG...The noise, everyone is super loud and rude. People blasting music at all hrs and in the parking lot like a bunch of unsupervised children. The rooms are gross and outdated. My blanket had a hard dry substance on it. Paper thin walls makes for an awesome night listening​ to working​ girls and their clients or people having stomping matches at 2 am. Id rather sleep in a dumpster than go back to that dump. AVOID AT ALL COST.

We were screamed at by a woman who lives here the moment we walked in the door. There was hair in the bathtub. The rooms look like they havent had anything other than a basic half ass surface wipe down, ever. Cigarette burns all over the curtains, blanket, top blanket. Bed was like sleeping on a rock, it squeaks so loud when you move. This place is a dump and needs torn down and rebuilt. Not worth half of what was paid.

Location was great, right in the middle of town. Lots of shopping and dining out within walking distance. Room was well its a room what more could you ask for besides pillow mints. Brexfast the following morning was yummy although Id like to see it last for about another hour so I dont have to wake up so early in the morning. And the front seat was very nice and helpful. I give them two thumbs up. Only 4stars because the room could have been cleaner and the variety of brexfast was not very large. Only a few items to choose from, good items but not many

Staff is friendly and shower water pressure and temperature are excellent. There is an adequate free breakfast featuring waffles. The place is pretty dirty and stinky, however. The stench of cigarettes is everywhere, including my nonsmoking room. In addition to smelling, my room was not properly cleaned. There was trash in drawers and the floor was dirty. There were hairs in the shower and all over my pillow. The shower drain was clogged. I was happy to depart.

I just cleaned the air vent in my bathroom it was filthy. The rooms can be much better cleaned. A thorough clean not just surface cleaned. I would like to add the staff is very friendly,helpful,positive and respectful.

Very nice place to stay at. The entire staff was friendly and kind. Tracy was really fun to talk to about anything, she ROCKS!!! I would definately recommend this place to all. Keep up the great service. My family would come back!

Im not one to write reviews but I had to give this place some positive feedback. My husband and I own and operate a service business we have stayed many places in the kitsap Area. I thought I would give the midway a try simply because they had good rates and we want to make money not spend money. A Exceptional staff member Rita made us feel right at home here. They offer good deals for longer stays if your working in the area. We had are two little girls with us on this trip and they were so great with them so I would say family friendly. If your looking for a reasonable place and dont care about fancy decor or senic views and just want a cozy warm place to stay this is it. Prices are low and rooms are decent and from a mom with two little ones A free breakfast! You can count me in. Thank you Midway we will see you again.

Styrofoam coffee cups? Seriously? Well, they do match the 70s decor.No kidding, though. I travel a lot and this is absolutely one of the worse motels Ive ever stayed in. It looks okay from the outside, and the lobby is pretty nice, but the fun ends there.It was freezing outside and it took hours to warm the room up - definitely didnt make for a good nights sleep.The price is way beyond what this dump is worth. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. For the price in this area you can do so much better.Threadbare towels barely adequate for drying.Terrible coffee.Two paintings in the room that are exactly the same - thats real classy.Furnishings were apparently borrowed from the Bates Hotel.

For a 2-star hotel, the Midway Inn shines. My room was clean, had the needed amenities and more, and serviced frequently. The free breakfast is set up early and includes fresh hot waffles! And the front desk staff is wonderful. Friendly and helpful. They care.
