Midland Hotel in Mwanza

Good rooms good service but parking is bad and the security guard who is responsible for parkimg is unexperienced

Good hotel in the centre of Mwanza. Excellent value. Good restaurant

When I visited and stayed here for 10 nights in June 2022, the image that was painted in my mind after a visit 2 years ago was changed. Great transformations.For persons who love CBD areas, Midland Hotel offers a great location.The place is clean but still needs more work to be done on housekeeping end. Some of us are rather picky!

Nic hotel with good view and good service

Very good price for the location (3 mins from main road, so if you travel by car, this is ideal). The hotel allows you good connection to internet as well as a daladala station. From the outside it looks rather modest, but the interior is amazingly cozy - I must say whoever decided to pick those particular pictures to decorate the walls has a great taste in art. Vibrant colours occupy the view and its an enjoyment walking upstairs and down looking at those paintings. The room is quite big and everything is super clean; windows are huge so very good light and ventilation. There is even a TV - I did not expect that so it came as a good surprise! Many power sockets for charging and they are located in smart spots, so thats a plus. In general, the hotel gives a sense of nostalgia and its like living in Grandmamas. Front desk staff - I have been assisted by three of them - are all very friendly and even offered to carry my luggage upstairs to my room once it was ready (cuz my bus arrived quite early and it was not a sensible time to check in; I left my luggage with them and went out to explore Mwanza, only coming back to find out they placed it very nicely on the rack in my room). The fish they sell tastes amazing so yeah dont miss that out either.”

Great hotel and a good conference rooms

Midland Hotel is centrally located in Mwanza, walking distance to most of the main business/market area. Friendly manager and staff. Its has clean and spacious rooms. Public transport easily found just outside the hotel. Reasonable price.

It is the best Hotel found nearby the shores of lake Victoria. When you are at the Hotel you can easily view the Lake Victoria

Stayed there for three days, and enjoyed my stay. Situated at the City Center in Mwanza, it offers a variety of services including Spa, and its one of the few City Hotels that have parking areas (basement parking). I reccomend it for short term and business visitors.

Excellent accommodation, cool and secured

Rooms are good and cheap.B&B service, resturant and bar also available. Wifi available. Rooms are spacious. Food however is not the best. Customer service is good. Hotel is located around town area.

The rooms would benefit from some renovation to replace air conditioning bathtubs and sinks. Rooms are spacious but air is very heavy especially for rooms that are unoccupied for a several days

Theres a nice view of the Lake Victoria above the Mwanza city skyline. They have a sauna, a body salon and very warm friendly staff. Food is not that great but youre just a stroll away from some great eateries in the city. The prices are also pocket friendly compared with similar facilities in Mwanza. One downside though is it is located in a very noisy neighborhood, street preachers and vendors wont give you peace to nap in the afternoon
