Middle Fork Cafe in Willmar

Are you looking for something to do, or maybe try something new? Go out on an adventure to the small town of New London, MN. There is a wonderful little Cafe there called Sweet River Cafe. Our server was working her first Breakfast and she was fun and entertaining. Our food was delicious. The place has a Soda Shop feeling to it. Fresh cakes and pastries for the liking.So if you are in the area give it a try. It was worth it.

Very expensive and small portions. Tasted good but still hungry afterward.

Great food and friendly service

Server had incredible personality and was very attentive to our needs. She made us feel like we were at home. Food and pastries were phenomenal. A place you must visit if you are in the area!

Good food, good service even though they were very busy

Not sure where in the world do they find such great pastry chef at this little local diner. We ordered 7 different kinds of cake. All of them are incredible star chef quality cake. You need to pre order if you want an entire cake. I see that they have beautiful little tarts as well

Food was great. We hit during lunch rush and it took awhile to get our food but the workers were great and we enjoyed our food. Very yummy deserts.

Great Breakfast and reasonable prices

The BEST Carmel rolls around!! We only stopped for a roll to go, and it did not disappoint. The lady who helped us was the baker/owner and she was so sweet and kind.I only wish I would have gotten two!PS all the desserts in the case looked amazing, we just only tried the caramel rolls.

Beautiful cakes, wonderful menu. Wish it was closer so I could sample everything. Food fantastic, service wonderful.

This is a smaller quaint cafe with quick, friendly waitresses. Service was great. I received a free slice of cake for my birthday with a Facebook offer. During the winter months their hours are 8-2.

Middle Fork is one of those places I know I can take friends, family, or business associates and everyone will walk away full and happy. Nothing on this menu is bad and the service is always excellent and friendly.

Delicious! Drove through from out of town, very welcoming. Huge portions! The warm apple ciders were so good.

What an unexpected gem this place is! We were traveling through and decided to stop for breakfast! Much to our surprise they did not disappoint! Food and service was 5 star! Dessert were AMAZING (looked to good not to take a couple to go😊highly recommend. We r definitely stoping on our way back through!

Love the wedding size cake portions and array of many fancy cakes. Not the usual lunch sandwiches kind of fancy but filling. Great place to go if you want something different always busy going enough time to sit and talk and wait for your meal. Coffee and cake is always an option.

This is my favorite Cafe anywhere! Their food is amazing, their desserts are untopable, they are a 5 star coffee shop as well as a cafe, the staff are great, the seating has both regular and unique options (a long bench stretches across one wall for seating at several tables), they have several areas of outdoor seating that are all fabulous...I cannot find anything NOT to love! They have unique and delicious meal options. And they are right down town New London amongst several very nice shops to enjoy before and after eating! Love it!

Super happy with this place. We are visiting from out of town and this place is a gem! We had Mya (sorry if I spelled it wrongas our server and even though it was busy she made us feel like a priority. The food was amazing and you get ALOT for your money. Overall recommended!

I had the Poke bowl with shrimp, my husband had the grilled french toast. Our meals were spectacular! The staff was kind and effecient. Would highly recommend!

Stopped in for lunch. Actually earned 4.5 stars. Would have been a full 5 stars if they would have warned us to save more room for dessert!!! As it was we had to share desserts.

The veggie burger was amazing. My friend and I have been on the hunt trying to recreate it ever since. I do love a traditional burger but it had so much flavor and was good and chewy. Great little place to stop for breakfast and lunch.

Love going here for a light dinner or lunch with my husband and kids. The food is always delicious and the overall look of the place is clean and neat. It is one of the more preferred places to eat in new london. On top of that the price is not bad either so my two kids and husband can eat there for about 35 bucks. It caters to many dietary restrictions so people who have to be careful about what they eat can eat here safely. Overall a great place to eat

What a delicious meal! I had steak bites and tomato basil soup, and my husband had the aloha sliders with loaded potato soup and we both thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered!

Quaint, small town cafe with an interesting, if somewhat limited menu. The service was a little slow (30 minutes from ordering to being served our lunches), but that may attributable to how busy it was. Food was good, though. I had the meat loaf sliders.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday, it was very good and got dessert to go, wanted to let you know how good it was! The Pecan cake was delicious but the strawberry meringue was such a treat!

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting New London. The dishes include local ingredients and are different than the standard fare you get at other restaurants.

The Valentines dinner tonight was fantastic. We both had the steak tips. So tender and flavorful. The service was great. We really enjoyed the evening!

Small town cafe with delicious food. Sandwiches are served with chips. Beer, wine and some cocktails available. The wait staff was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

I had the TLT sandwich and it was awesome. My latte was not so great...it did not have much taste. When I brought it to my waitresses attention she added more flavoring but it still was not good. She did not check back with me to see if it taste better.

Wonderful service! I was in from out of town and needed to do some office work using WiFi... the whole time there were kind and kept checking on me. I felt welcomed and I loved it. Huge help. Great service, delicious food and coffee. Ill be back!

Great breakfasts and lunch! The chicken salad sandwich is terrific. My son loves the ham and cheese omlette and hubby likes the roast beef sandwich. Friendly service.
