Midan in Stockholm

Really tasty kebab and many other delicious dishes, one of the better ones kebabs in Stockholm. Recently refurbished their interior and went from run down to quite nice. Digital ordering of food, pay with swish or order at the counter if youre a dinosaur. Very fast service.

Had dinner while visiting Stockholm, Serves Halal food in Central location, good ambience, Generous portion size and tasteful food. Shawarma, Grilled meat, chicken, options of fries, rice. Price compareable to similar restaurants, Overall worth dinning.

The quality of the food and tast getting worse and worse each time I tried it, the portion is getting smaller too. Odenplan branch.

Big portions, we usually share. Can be salty at times but tasty overall.

If you want to get full and not to pay a fortune - its a place for you! Incredibly delicious courses and monstrously large portions. Yummy from eastern (Arabicworld.Bread, tea are free. There is a WC for disabled people and there is changing table inside. They also have an levator🤩

The restaurant ambience is wonderful.A variety of middle eastern food.The hummus was good, the Shawarma platter was ok but not as expected (Served with mayonnaise instead of garlic sauce).Hummus + shawarma platter + coke cost 175 SEK (18 USD)

It is a very nice restaurant. Amazing quality and portions. And price is reasonable. I got shawarma wrap and we all liked it. It has a nice environment as well.

There is no menu to choose. The service is bad. The food is not really good but acceptable.

My first visit but It was a below average experience! Food was cold and looks like not freshly made! If kebab is cold and not freshly made, it’s really bad! People talk about the larger food portion, but I didn’t like all the items in the platter!

The food is awesome, and the price is really good! Plus you can get as much salad, sauce and break as you want. Its worth a lot and its one of my favourite places in Stockholm.

Clean and beautiful place, tasty food with many options on menu.Just one thing that made me really sad... There is a table close to a big hot water tank with no sign to beware of ❌🚫. A baby👶🏼 burned himself/herself (this family couldnt enjoy the meal, because all food was there untouched, they needed leave with the baby screaming😢). I just knew because almost happened with my daughter, so the people that was sitting beside us told what happened. I really dont know if somebody that work there knew what happened, because restaurant was crowded.

I used to eat at the restaurant since it’s opened and never had a problem, always respected and I respect others, until Today 24th of June. The cashier was very aggressive and not listening, I told him 4 or 5 times to give me a small bowl after I ordered my meals and he was not listening and busy with other people in the line… (I was first in the line“then he told me why I am shouting” I answered because you don’t hear me and you are not listening to me… then he told me, I HAVE TO RESPECT MYSELF TO EAT IN HIS RESTAURANT…. That’s strange honestly, I don’t know what that means or where you came from, but here in Sweden people are respectful and we don’t say that to people…Horrible service and they make you feel you are not welcome.

Nice food But limited quantity compared to the price specially very little vegetable as you see in the picture one piece tomat and cucumber.

They have the best Fattosh salad in town. However, the chicken shawarma I ordered was dry with so little sauce. Service level was mundane.

Taste amazing! Too much food. For 2 persons one plate. Clean and organized. I took my extra food with nice package. Will come again and I do recommend.

I visited here for dinner and I was very satisfied with the taste and portion of food. Staffs were welcoming and kind.They provide lot of side dishes like soup, salad, bread etc. Make sure you order what you can eat as I seen lot of people wasting food by ordering more. They offer halal food.

The place is nice and the portions are huge. To my taste the kebab was not as good as we were expecting it to be, a bit of disappointment. However the reason of the 1 star is that I dont fancy going to restaurants where the table is wiped with the floor brush. Yes you read right, thats what happened infront of me.

We got a mix tallrik. The portions are humongous, two people can easily get full. The prices are very cheap and the quality good! The environment is really beautiful now with the renovation, a bit too loud downstairs but works. The service is quick and the staff friendly! You can get extra salad. Nice presentation of the dishes. Totally recommend it!

After the remake, the place is spacious, clean, and convenient. Didnt care much about the "music" they played, but the food is just as good and plentiful as before.

The best shawarma in Stockholm undoubtedly. Has a fantastic ambience, the people at the counter are very helpful and understandable. Their chicken rice plate and shish kebab rice plate were more than enough for 2 of us. The quantity of food is a lot. Quality of chicken and shish kebab were very good. Loved every bite of the dishes !!! Highly recommended and must visit in Stockholm

I have been ordering from them or pick-up for months. It has become my go-to middle eastern food joint. Despite the uneven reviews here, I do enjoy the authentic taste of the food here and generous portion. Any tallrik dish is big enough for two people, so very price-worthy. Any honestly it is better than any roadside kebab places.

Food was not so good quality I ordered shawarma mix which contains meat and chicken, meat had many uncooked fat plus many hard things which is most likely cartilages, chicken was better but i was near to break my teeth of a big red chicken bone which was so disgusting. Workers there had dirty hands and clothes and they were walking around and smoking.

Best place of its kind I have eaten at anywhere in Scandinavia!There is a lot on the menu to recommend but my favorite is probably the lamb fillet or the fried Kubbe. The meze is great, eggplant sublime. Since I ran into this place I have come back menu times and eaten almost all they offer.Even better than the food is the guy who runs the place and takes your order. He gives the place a real Middle Easter vibe, by that I mean generous portions of well cooked food served with a smile and high emphasis on hospitality.For example, yesterday I ordered the crispy chicken and the mix platter. I love my food spicy and in honesty without the spicy sauce and some hummus I just dont really enjoy it. Therefore I always ask for them to give me or send me some. Yesterday they missed that, sent French fries instead of bulgur and did some other minor mistakes. I passed by today and mentioned it to the boss and it turns out it was his day off yesterday. Without checking what/if I had even made an order yesterday he apologized profusely and wouldnt let me leave without compensating me. I wasnt expecting anything or looking for anything, I know how hard it is to run a business and to run a restaurant and mistakes happen.He would have none of it and I ended up leaving with all the food in the photo below...! Now I have food for days!Also, here you can find the best kind of olives that are hard to get outside the Middle East, actually even in it. My former father in law would have some shipped from Palestine where his mother still has a few trees left that havent been destroyed by settlers. He would get about a liter per year (from what used to be a big olive farm held in the family for as long as there are records). Anyway, the closest Ive had to those are the ones served at Midan.Thank you guys and see you soon.

This is our second time and they never disappoint us. We had Grill mix and Shawarma plate and both were good. I guess we could split the grill mix between 2 as the quantity is more.

Generous plate of delicious middle eastern food (even for vegetarians). They provide some of the best falafel you can find in Stockholm and couple that with a portion of bulgur/fries, veggies and hummus and you have yourself an amazing meal to savour.Pricing is standard for the size and type of restaurant (~100-150kr for a meal).

Fresh, great service. Well worth the money...recommend to others ...suggest to share order; size is phenomenally huge! STOCKHOLM best place to eat!

Great and consistent taste here if you like shawrma.Their Midan shawerma is very tasty and unique.The portions are big so meals are good for sharing too.

Come here if you are hungry. You will get lots of food. The price for chicken is 120 kr.

Oh my goodness! This place is simply awesome!! Im a vegetarian and I was very skeptical about this place when my friend recommended it and I have never been this wrong. They have supper tasty food, they top on both quantity and quality, a trait which is very rare among restaurants. Their baked-in-house, special salad bread was phenomenal. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This is by far one of my best discoveries in Stockholm. Id strongly recommend any hungry soul to visit this place, at least once, and your sure to come back for more.

I had been to many kebab restaurant, but this is the best. Price little higher but they compensate that with quantity. I can would definitely recommend this.

Huge platters!! Enjoy it or share, its enough for two people at an affordable price! Five stars for Midan because we ate dinner 3 times here during our Stockholm visit.

Very tasty food! But the portion is too much (not in a good way). Most people around me wasted about 40% of their food because of the quantity. Also, there are often flies in the corners of the indoor seating.
