Micos Waterfalls - Waterfall in Tamuin, Mexico
Went there for the waterfalls and soulveniers
Absolutely loved it, had a great time. Definitely recommended to spend a good time with family and friends
This place is really nice we had lots of fun Im ready to go back any time
Amazing 👏
Beautiful place, a bit crowded .Worth taking the drive from Cd Valles
Easily accessible, great family place. There are boats for hire and restaurants. Very pretty!
Beautiful waterfalls $5 entry fee
Entry fee cost: $100 pesoIncludes entry, parking, and life jacket. The area is very pretty. You can climb up several tiers of waterfalls all the way up to the hydroelectric power plant. Then you can jump off all the waterfalls in the way down.
While less cascades than rapids, they are beautiful.
Nice place to come, either take a sky bike, boat or other adventure. Also camping is allowed
Great park
Awesome...
Umbelievable experience, worth every second... doing the 7 dives with the local guides there is a must and cheap at 200pesos per person... And I recommend eating Mojarra Fried Fish with an Esquiss soda
My favorite place on earth!
Beautiful place, unable to do much because of the river currents.
Very nice place to visit. We were jumping off the waterfalls
The falls are beautiful. With the adequate river height, the river is ideal for adventures such as jumping from the falls and kayaking, but only if youre wearing the proper equipment and with the instructions of a professional guide. Otherwise, these activities become highly risky and dangerous. The correct equipment includes a helmet, a life vest, and wet shoes or water shoes or tennis shoes.Jumping the falls is challenging, and people afraid of heights may find it terrifying. So if you decide to go on this adventure, be sure to follow instructions to safely complete the tour. It is very safe this way.
Very beautiful recommend to go enjoyed the view
Very cool to stand at the foot of the falls and feel the power of the current.
Awesome experience for the price . Enjoyed all the activities , the food the climate and the people are great
Loved the cliff jumping and sweet swimming areas. Awesome grilled Chicken
Its a pretty amazing place.
It is beautiful, the water is warm, it is a clean area to bath in and the waterfalls are awesome. It is a new experience you have to live. Jumping in the waterfall is frightening but the adrenaline kicks in!! 😍😍🌳😁
Great place, just checked with the locals about water levels
Great place for a relaxing day with the family. Lots of fun jumping in the Waterfall
Probably a beautiful place. But for 100pesos entry and an extra 100$ for camping I went for a hard NO!. Also I think they enforce you to wear a lifejacket. Its gross so many beautiful places in Mexico is ruined for corporate greed.
Wonderful place to go have a fun day
Beautiful, very nice, clean and organized place. Its amazingly beautiful 😍
A great place love it...
Absolutely stunning. I went with my family and it did not disappoint. Its easy to spend a whole day here and enjoy the scenery. While it does cost a few pesos to swim (you need a life jacket to swim by the waterfall), its worth every peso to swim and explore this beautiful landscape. The tourist shops are also very worth it as well, selling waterproof cases for your phone (with straps to not lose it!), coffee bean earrings, handmade goods, pet toys, and souvenirs galore, its a wonder that this place isnt more popular. Truly a hidden gem. (Also, if youre planning to go here, bring your own toilet paper! This is common in Mexico, but if you want toilet paper here, it costs a few extra pesos that you could save.)
It’s a great little place to spend the day they have the waterfalls and also have cabins if you want to spend the night a lot of food right next to the river overall a great place
Parking was free, pay 40 pesos per person to enter, walk about 10 minutes down to river. Dont bring anything but pesos with you, and towels. Then pay 180 pesos each for jumping and swimming down the river/waterfalls. We didnt ask about the other activities. On the plus side, the guided take pictures and send them via WhatsApp and this is included in the 180 pesos :The experience was awesome. I didnt like how you must pay to get to the river and then pay for activities, and that once you pay you need to return everything to your car because there isnt a secure way to store anything down at the river, nor that after they issue your helmet and life preserver you must walk up stairs to reach the road and walk further up the road ... but jumping the waterfalls and floating/swimming the cold river was a very enjoyable experience. There is food sold, tasted good, and coffee plus other beverages. Before you enter there are many water shoes and clothes for sale, as well as tourist stuff.
Most beautiful magical places in San Luis Potosí.
Not sure if this is worth going to if youre not doing some sort of water/tour group activity here as well. Its definitely beautiful, dont get me wrong, I just think other waterfalls/sites around the region are more worth your time if you have a tight schedule.
Nice place to relax in the middle of the mountains
Very underwhelming waterfalls compared to the others in the area. Pretty but seriously nothing special. Boat ride thing was pretty lame. Don’t go out of your way to come here, there are way better options.
You can enjoy the beautiful view. But around the waterfall area isnt free to swim. You need a life jacket. If you wish to swim freely, you need to go down the river a little. There, you can swim without anyones permission but of course, with your own responsibility.
Great, place awesome experience. We will definitely come back here.
Awesome place to spend the day , but dont camp there is to hot to stay there.
the water temperature its so fresh it feels very good I really enjoy this place and I really recommend to visit it you wont regret !
Beautiful place with amazing fun-filled adventures!! A Must go
Beautiful Waterfalls water natural it relaxes you so much one of the best parts of mexico
This place is incredible. Kayakers can hit the falls, Zip lining is high above, if you just want a leisurely time with family you can walk down to the many beach type areas and relax while the kids play and explore. Canoe rides are given up to a few of the falls for cheap. Food and artisan items are for sale all around. Weve visited here 4 years now and the kids still want to go back. @boondockpatrol
Very lovely place but full of groups who are jumping from the falls.
La huasteca Potosina this place is 20 minutes from cuidad valles its a tourist attraction great for spending the day or weekend swimming camping enjoing natureThe water and waterfalls are incredible
Access to Zip Line and Sky Bike is just up the road from the Micos falls. After jumping the falls we did the Sky Bike.
Loved it, great for hicking, swim and have lots of fun
Spot is amazing specially if you do the waterfall jumping, it runs 180mxn per person but it is an experience that you must do, 7 waterfall jumps ranging from 10-27 feet and nature in a different way. Id love to come back someday
The admission is very affordable. You can take your own food or there are plenty of vendors. If you want to swim at the head of the park, signs everywhere says you have to have a life vest. Great place for camping or a visit. The entrance road is pretty rough, but as all things in Mexico, this may change tomorrow.
Beautiful waterfalls, very relaxing to be there, enjoyed every part of it
