Beautiful municipal park. City website for this park could use some updating with a few more park highlight pictures and list of policies such as "no dogs allowed" as the site hasnt been updated in about 4 years.

Back before this place was a park, it was all swamp land. Who knew that this place could have transitioned into such a beautiful area to bring the kids to run around, play, eat, or swim!The park has many different things to offer from playground equipment, a lake, many soccer fields, and a walking path that encircles the lake and then some (not sure of distance, but a couple miles at least), places to fish, and a large shelter with bathrooms.Some parts of the playground, like the plastic coating on the metal, is starting to come off and is starting to show some age. Some parts may be sharp, so make sure kids are wearing shoes.Otherwise it is a great place to occupy your time with all the different things you can do!

One of the BEST playground areas we have ever seen. Happen to see it on our way to LaCrosse. Besides the play area there is a basketball court and soccer field and a nice covered shelter with picnic tables. Also lots of benches for sitting surrounding the play area. We will definitely make the trip back!! 👍😊

Does summer is nice place to hang out with friends take the kids to the beach that playground you can grill out they have bike path I enjoy it

Awesome park! First time here because our son played soccer here. The childrens playground is big and they take care of this place. The lake n swimming area looks cool n I bet its super nice during the summer. Too bad it was close because of COVID. Im definitely going back next summer.

Awesome playground, a big open field to run and play in, and a swimming section with a beach! Its a great family spot and is highly used for the Winona area. The only downside is the sand is super grimy and slimy when you first walk into the water, but you get used to it. Its free swimming with pavilions close by so overall its a big win.

This park is a great place to go if you want to get out of the house. Im not sure if swimming is allowed right now or not, but there is a "beach". The walking trail around the lake is beautiful. I went around it not long ago and loved it! Definitely recommend going here to change up your day.

Very family friendly and nice beach/swimming area. Not a ton of shade if youre not in the water and a lot of goose droppings. Also, just FYI alcohol is not allowed on the beach.

Great place to take the kids on a hot day.

Was here so my niece could play a bit. I didnt enjoy it, because I was in town for the day and I had Maxx with me. And its a no dogs allowed park. At least we got a long walk in before our drive home.I wont be returning to this park anytime soon.

Great Pokemon Go spot. Only a porta potty and no drinking fountain available in winter.

Great covered picnic area overlooking the water. Nice Beach for sand play and swimming. Lots of climbing, swinging, bridges, etc. Kids had a fun time!!

Great little sandy beach thats roped off with the deepest part being about 6 foot with changing area and bathrooms. Also has rentable pavilions, fun playground, fishing dock, walking trail, and a boat launch.

I love how the parking lot, pavillion (which has spacious bathrooms and changing rooms), the beach, and the playground are just steps away from each other. This is helpful with a toddler; I could easily run to my car to grab drinks, sunscreen etc while my son is still visible. The beach and the playground are literally right next to each other, 20 steps or so off the slide and your at the waters edge. Nice. NIce clean park, good vibes all around!

Great playground and the only lake beach in the area. Very nice pavilion, great place for summer gathered events and indoor bathrooms. The lake is pretty cloudy though and the "sand" is more like very fine gravel.

Very secure and clean Park with walking path, pavilion, fishing boat launch and docks. Located on a beautiful clear water lake hosting playground equipment and a nice beach.

A nice playground and okay beach if youre lucky to have it rather quiet. Sometimes there are kids running straight from the water to the slides, though.
