The food, the service and the ambiance… all worthy of the best of Bergen. I have a habit of going to Italian restaurants and not ordering the pasta because I’m so picky. I often tastes my family’s order of pasta and am glad I didn’t order it. I decided for a change this time and was so happy I did! The homemade linguine and shrimp was amazing- it was light and flavorful. Our waiter was attentive and informative. One of the owners even stopped by for conversation and poured us a glass of wine. I highly recommend Bici for both romantic and family dining.

Love this place. Good food, good service, great atmosphere. What else do you want? We keep going back.

Hosted a bridal shower at Bicis on July 23,2022. From the moment we got there the staff ( Marchello,Julian and Ray couldnt of been more helpful. They helped bring things in from our car ,helped set up and provided anything we needed. Food was DELICIOUS, from the baked Salmon , Short Ribs and the vegetarian pasta with veggies. Everything was cooked to perfection and served hot. Julian and Ray were around and checking on every table to make sure we had everything we needed. Great experience as we were from out of state and had never been before. Would definitely visit again for a special occasion. Thanks guys.

Went here for dinner with my family a couple weeks ago and it was a great choice. The restaurant atmosphere was intimate but not pretentious and our server was friendly, helpful and professional. We probably could have eaten a full loaf of the house focaccia and one of our best choices of the night was to finish the meal with the carrot cake - a real winner. There were multiple vegetarian options which was great. While the house made pappardelle with mushroom ragu special I had was nice, if I went again, I would order the Strozzapretti - that was truly delicious. The malfatti appetizer was not what I was expecting and while it was good, if you are looking for a more traditional/typical malfatti, this wasnt it.

We had my best friends baby shower here and wow! It was amazing. The service and the food was incredible. The owner paid attention to every little detail. I dont even live close by and Im planning my next trip to this restaurant. Great place to have a party or just dine in!

Service was excellent and its BYOB which is great. Lots of Parking in the back. The fish, chicken, steak, Calamari, Polenta fries were decent. Loved the Tiramisu. The chocolate cake was average. The meal is a little expensive.

I had my bridal shower here last night and it was amazing. My mother said Marcello was such a pleasure to work with and our server Andrea was perfect! We already knew the food was delicious which is why we chose Bici in the first place! Thank you so much for making my shower such a happy celebration.

Great Italian food. They are byob, but have Ramsey liquor close by if you forget. Wonderful knowledgeable waitstaff. The short rib was out of this world, the sweet potato underneath needs something added to it

First really great staff, enjoyed the polenta fries and beet salad as the apps. Ordered two pasta dishes as entrees, one with the lamb ragu the other with goat, both were really good. Great atmosphere. will be back

We had great experience at Bici. The staff was super attentive. Absolutely love all their salads.Have visited the restaurant few times, love the food every time.One time it started pouring while we were dining, the owner Marcelo graciously accompanied me to my car with his umbrella. That was nice of him.

Awesome food. The meatball appetizer had to be one of the best meatballs I have ever eaten in my life. Its BYOB so dont forget to show up with your favorite bottle of wine

Both times I visited Bici I was very impressed. Not only is their food phenomenal, their presentation is amazing.The menu has something for everyone, from appetizers to entrees to dessert.At our last visit (2019we ordered the lamb bolognese and the halibut special. I was told the Bolognese was the best the ever had, but I did not partake as I dont eat lamb. I had their halibut special of the night. The fish was perfectly cooked, the recipe was fantastic and so full of flavor which can sometimes be tricky when preparing a "meaty" white fish. The portion sizes were also right on the mark.Even the cappuccino was beautifully presented. And the chocolate cake was delectable. (I dont remember the name of what dessert we ordered, but it was off their dessert menu).The service was great. Our waiter even helped us to decide our dishes and he was always close by, refilling our water and pouring our chilled bottle of wine. Its BYOB if I remember correctly, so be sure to ask if this is still the case when you make your reservation.The dining room is small but intimate and beautifully decorated.Bici is absolutely a must if you are looking for a quiet place, an amazing menu and fantastically prepared food.

We came in for a quick dinner and to verify the rating. we can, without a doubt, verify Bici is outstanding in food and service. Wow! This place is worth the trip over the GW bridge. A breath of fresh air from Manhattan.

My wife from (PAand her high school friend from (CTwanted to have a reunion. I opened Google maps picked this restaurant as our place to meet. Well let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The owner Marcelo and his professional staff made our evening very enjoyable. We were not rushed, the food was delicious. I had the pan roasted salmon that was crazy as well as the other entrées. It was so nice seeing my wife and her old friend together again laughing and having a great time. If you have a special occasion I would definitely put this restaurant #1.

Delicious!! Owner (Marcelocame by our table numerous times to see how everything was and to simply talk. Very pleasant experience. There was no rush- we stayed for hours. Food was fantastic! Coffee and dessert were phenomenal! Will be coming back!

Had an amazing Wedding Rehearsal at Bici! All guests enjoyed fabulous food, excellent service and terrific atmosphere the entire night. Marcelo and Chef Anthony gave their all, and my family and I were so pleased. The night went off beautifully and I strongly recommend this wonderful restaurant for an affair. Future Bride and Groom were so happy, their guests were thrilled, and full from the special menu put together for us that evening. 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love Bici! We had not been there in a while but outdoor dinning was open and weather was perfect! The cuisine is absolute perfection from beginning to end. Marcelo, the owner is a charming, hospitable and caring! He was also our waiter and a man of many hats! If you haven’t gone there, you should! You will definitely enjoy this!

My husband ordered the lobster bisque. It was a little pricey especially because it only had one piece of lobster in it. When we asked the waiter if that was normal, he mumbled a response and then walked away. The rest of the food was good but the bisque put a damper on our meal.

What a wonderful place and service, excellent food, BYOB. Many different options in the menu, plenty of sitting inside or outside (during the weekday). They do recommend for you to make reservations, just in case.

This restaurant is an experience. The staff is attentive and on point. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything in the kitchen is from scratch and it is obvious that they care about every single detail. Recently we had a baby shower here and Marcello was easy to work with, professional and beyond friendly. The pricing is just right and the atmosphere is perfect. There aren’t enough good things to say. If you have not dined here yet, you are missing out. Make sure you get your favorite drink to bring along (byoband bring your appetite.

We hosted a luncheon there and then owner Marcelo did a fantastic job in helping us plan and host the event. The food preparation by Chef Anthony Devanzo was delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests and we had a great time. Thank you

Highly recommend! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Braised short ribs over whipped sweet potato was absolutely delicious and my wife had the chicken prepared in a creamy mushroom sauce over whipped potatoes which was prepared to perfection!

Food was wonderful. Must have reservations. Although the inside tables were available (all but one), I had to eat outside in the heat, by myself. When I left, most of the tables were still empty. The service was bad for a restaurant of this caliber, and for the price. Disappointing.

We have been going to Bici for a couple months. Words can’t describe what an awesome experience it is. I’ve slowly been working my way through the entire menu and have yet to be disappointed. Every dish I’ve had has been amazing. Chef Anthony is an artist!!! If you haven’t eaten at Bici you are missing out on an amazing culinary experience!!!! Get there ASAP!!

Marcello and his wonderful staff go out of their way to provide you with a wonderful dining experience. The food is excellent and beautifully presented, the service is top notch and Marcello makes you feel like a valued customer! Bici is my favorite restaurant in Bergen County!

The staff was very nice. We had different requests for the food items and they agreed and also provided good suggestions. The outdoor seating area was cold but the mobile heaters helped and they did not hesitate to bring closer. The food was good.

I’ve lived in ramsey 27 years and my parents over 35+ years. Best restaurant in ramsey by FAR. The food is outstanding the service even better. Every time I go to Bici it feels like I’m celebrating something even if I’m not. Bici is one of those restaurants you always want to go back to. This pandemic has been so hard on everyone but they are taking everything in stride and without skipping a beat. If you’ve never gone this is a must go!

My new favorite restaurant! Bici has delicious food, outstanding service, and a truly dedicated and passionate owner. Marcelo is a very humble man with fantastic business ethics and honestly runs a very friendly and professional place. Chef Anthony makes delectable dishes you simply cant not go wrong with ordering anything from this menu!! Havent done take out but wouldnt even want to, the staff is just so attentive and friendly and the place is exceptionally clean. I have no worries dining in here. Highly recommend for your next dining experience!!

Just got some take out. Ordered the Maine Lobster Roll, Salad, and Risotto. So this is more of a 3 1/2 star review and I will explain the lower score. TAKE OUT, knocks it down a star as this is a place that is better to dine in. Small greens/eggplant salad was very good. My wife loved the Risotto, though I thought it was OK and take out packing leaked out of the bag. The other minus 1/2 star is due to the Lobster Roll; which was small (but that was OKand was actually very good. Bici take on the lobster roll was great except for the fact that every lobster piece in the roll was part of the claw. I get it, you cant get a total winner, but they could have at least put a little meat from the tail in the roll especially since your paying a higher end price for a lobster roll. Overall, if you visit, dine in (they set up a tentas it seems to be nice dinner out place. Also, the staff was really nice

The staff here is very friendly and polite, and always willing to explain all the menu items. The food is always incredible, no matter what it is. The food is very good, and a large portion, and neither my wife nor I can go and not order the pork buns , they are that good. I cannot recommend this place enough.

What an absolute gem! Friends had been talking about this restaurant for awhile, and I finally made the trip myself. Went on a Saturday- warning, its very busy on the weekends, so reserve early. Also, like other smaller restaurants, Bici does two seatings on the weekend, 5-6ish and 8 or later, so dont expect a 7:00 table.Anyway, we sat down and were treated to hot bread and, instead of butter, a "spread" of pumpkin and mascarpone. Apparently the spread changes daily, a nice treat. Our waiter was prompt to open our wine (its BYOBand was always present to fill our wine or water glasses. The staff clearly works together, as each waiter made at least one stop at our table. The service was quick and professional, but not stuffy; our waiter in particular kept us laughing while taking care of every request.The food was delicious. We shared the malfatti, meatballs, and a house salad with poached pears to start. I think that I couldve eaten several malfatti as my entire meal, and the meatballs and salad were excellent. Two of my friends had pasta, while I enjoyed the short ribs and my wife the chicken. We all tasted each others dishes, and while everything was excellent, my wifes chicken may have been my favorite. Any time a restaurant takes time to make its chicken special I know that the chef truly cares about every aspect of his menu.During our dinner Bici was dimly lit and intimate. While slightly difficult to read our menus (we had to use light from our phones), other tables did the same, adding to the fun. Dont expect a quiet table in a corner, at least on a weekend. Every table was packed and the dining room was buzzing, though in a good way. It seemed like everyone was really enjoying themselves. Our waiter informed us that weekdays, while never empty, are generally quieter, so if thats your preference avoid weekends.Marcelo made his way to our table and introduced himself. Hes the "front" owner and host, while his partner manages and takes care of the kitchen. Marcelo was friendly and welcoming, taking time with us to truly make sure that we enjoyed our meals (no issueand to get to know us. He even stopped back before we left, remembered our names, and told us a charming story about his pet horse... it was really a good story, ask him about it if you visit!Highly recommended. 5 stars all around. Cant wait to go back!

This place is the real deal for an amazing and fabulous meal! My sister and I visited this past Friday and we are already planning our next visit! The pastas are all homemade and you can taste it! The decor is amazing and very hip! It’s BYOB so you need to come prepared and since every table was filled when we were there shows even more how good the food is! It’s not like they can rely on alcohol sales! I live in NYC and have access to so many restaurants but I have NEVER had Gnocchi as well as I’ve had here! Their Chianti Risotto was also amazing! Since Our visit I’ve been dreaming of their food! You need to check this place out and I definitely recommend reservations, I booked through Open table and got the last time slot around 5:30pm on a Friday!

Although the dinning room was a bit tighter than we would have liked that nominal inconvenience was more than made up for by the quality of the meal we enjoyed and a knowledgeable wait staff. We shared two appetizers, the Polpette meatballs and the Malfatti ricotta dumplings. The meatballs were very good but the dumplings were over the top. Our entrees exceeded our expectations and were both ordered from the evening’s specials. We have the good fortune of having several outstanding Italian restaurants within a short drive and Bici has surpassed the best.

We had a superb time at Bici. Everything was delicious and we had a great service team. Our waiter, Graham, hit just the right note between serious and funny. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed the Malfatti and the Manzo. Kudos to the chef!

Always excellent. We have been dining at Bici ever since they opened and this is definitely our favorite restaurant in Bergen county.Marcello makes all his customers feel like family.

The wait staff were great, the place appears to be well run, pleasant atmosphere...but we didnt love our dishes, not so fresh tasting, not at a level in keeping with the prices. The skate in particular seemed to have soaked up the butter, in a greasy, heavy way. One dinner partner loved his chicken, that was the hit of the night.

We recently hosted our work Holiday Luncheon here. They planned a wonderful menu for us, had a signature drink ready upon our arrival (BYOB). The service was fantastic. Food was delicious! I would highly recommend organizing an event here.

Attended a bridal shower there over the weekend. It was my first time visiting and was very impressed with the the staff and food. Very inviting, attentive, polite and clean. Will visit again.

I am giving this restaurant 3 stars because of the following........ I do not mind spending money but for a Tuesday late afternoon I spent $85 for two people not including tip. One meatball appetizer (Greatone salmon entree and one rabbit entree. Very nice customer service from the second we walk in but unfortunately our salmon was burnt and I literally mean black burnt. Mushrooms on the Salmon looked fried with absolutely no seasoning. When youre in a place like this its really tough to return the dish so I didnt complain about it.Mine was good but very heavy in fact the whole menu is creamy creamy creamy. We are in the middle of August and theres nothing summery on their menu. I was dying to see something fresh grilled like branzino or even a New York strip steak. When you are charging the prices they charge you expect 5 stars on every course and every component of the dish should be perfect....NOT HERE. I will not be going back.

Visited this restaurant recently and had the best meal that Ive had in years. The food is amazing. Havent had Italian food this good since I was in Italy. The service was great and they were so accommodating. When we couldnt pick between two entries, they gave us special smaller portions of each so we could taste both. Just a great restaurant!
