Mezzanine - Lounge in Fes, Morocco
Horrendously overpriced for tiny plates. Its not even moroccan food. Dont eat here. No idea who does and likes it.
Such a modern yet traditional restaurant in the old Medina of Fez Morocco. Out standing food and service. A must while in Fez.
Premium prices for less than convenience service/environment... dont recommend.
Fun terrace to have some mint tea and shisha, and soak in a nice, cool weather. The insides are pretty comfortable and well decorated as well. Great people all around.
Great place for drinks and chicha in Fes. Chill vibes and nice view.
Bit pricy and average service but fab atmosphere, decor and location. Great easy "local" all year round.
Really its an amazing place I love it the best place 💯% I will come back again thats for sure
Great Bar.
Great place to hang out after strolling around the Medina! They serve cold beers
Expensive!Shisha has only one flavor, no ice added on bottom, smaller shisha than usual.€4 for 250ml of Heineken€10 for shisha (fair price)€7 Euros for tapas (really small portions)We basically spent €55 euros in 1 hour and left hungry and thristy.
They serve alcohol! Fez beer and wine available here. Modern, relaxed vibe with air conditioning inside, a roof terrace and a great playlist
Best rooftop to take a drink and have a light lunch
A great place to grab two things that are (fairlyrare in Fes Madina: a chilled out feel and a glass of wine or beer. Nice breezy rooftop with views over the jardin (which is opposite), the Medina walls and royal palace. Comfy sofas in modern and well-looked-after surroundings. As a rare non-hotel bar, I feared a seedy rip-off joint. This was neither of those things, and a very pleasant surprise. A glass of wine at sunset was a highlight of our trip to Fez.
They serve cold beer and wine. Service was ok. Not amazing.
Saw some good reviews at trustpilot so I tried it. Never again. Pasta is way overpriced and cold as f#ck! Waste of my money
cool, comfortable, nice view but the place is a little bit tiny
Everything i needed at the right moment. Beer and cocktails at the end of a heavy walking day in the Medina.
Have used La Mezzanine as the mid point between the garden and Bab Makina concert venues. Always welcomed, served promptly and food good. Generous glass of wine (by the glassThought prices were reasonable.
Very nice placeNice terraceNice peopleGood food!I really raccomand it
Decided to break our fast here.food took 2hrs to be prepared as there was only one staff member there when we arrived. Other people walked out before us. When the food arrived, the chicken was raw and smelt funny. Would not recommend to go eat there. Staff was friendly so will give them that atleast
Good place to buy alcohol during ramadan, however watch the pricing as we got charged double the second night we went there.
Nice place to hang out, food isnt a good option though
Shisha is very small. Only 2 flavors, not the good brands like adalya or al fakher. Terrace pretty crowded aswell. For this price its rediculous
We had a great experience at Mezzanine. Sheila— server, bartender and customer service extraordinaire— was wonderful and went above and beyond our expectations. The food and atmosphere were also great— young hip vibe.Thank you Sheila!
Nice atmosphere with reasonably priced drinks, but incredibly slow service let’s it down.
A bar that offers happy hour in Fes, Morocco? We had to check it out.Great views of the garden on the terrace. The cushions are a bit dirty and torn up but eh. The service was slow but once it started to fill up, our server was around more. The happy hour is kind of a joke. Order 2 beers, get the 3rd free but only per person and they give you all 3 at the same time.
Wine, beers and cocktails in one of the few places serving alcohol in Fes.
seems to be one of the few places to have a drink in Fes ! the prices are a little high but considering the alcohol shortage, you cant complain. They also have local Moroccan beer which is pretty good.
Very chill rooftop just outside of the hectic medina. Great service, one of the few places that served alcohol, and a small shisha choice.
Cosy place for dinner and chicha with a nice rooftop with really music.
We enjoyed our evening of drinks and the best Hookah we’ve had so far in Morocco. This is the only ‘bar’ we found in the area. Staff were really friendly and the wine was nice and cold. Shame we ran out of time and couldn’t make it back another night.
One of very little places you get an actual alcoholic drink and mine long island for 80dh was pretty juicy - read strong. Nice terrace on top, really cozy place.
Little bit expensive but one of the only place were you can anjoy a beer afet a day spent in Fes.Nice ambiance, food to be improved. Overall a pleasant experience.
Very nice small place, several minutes walk from Médina. They serve alcohol and you can get a nice shisha here. Nice terrace on the roof, cozy place to watch the sunset. Very nice service.
Decent prices for wine and beer. One of the few bars in the area. The service was friendly but not overly attwntive. We had to search out the bartender to order but they brought our wine quickly after. Still a fun enough place to hangout and have a drink.
Large open hard surface space near the Palais Royal...worth the visit
Cool spot outside Medina to enjoy the evening. Shisha available
Its an ok place, food was good,we had the happy hour menu, 2 beers and 2 tapas for 15 euros. The rooftop is small , for the standards of the city is ok
Slightly shabby, but decent food and alcohol if youre non-muslim. Close to the medina, follow the signs from the carpark outside the Blue Gate, and its an easy find.
The good: beer close to the Médina. The bad: it’s 55 dhs for a bottle of Casablanca.
Weve been here twice. On our first visit we had lasagna, a burger and pastilla with seafood which was really good. Because of technical problems there was neither tea or coffee available. On the second visit I had the salade nicoise, which was a good choice (bread would have been nice). The others ordered burgers again which came without ketchup ("ketchup is out").Fun fact: There is a shop beside the cafe, which sells ketchup.
Lacking any atmosphere, not a great place to hang out. Drinks were expensive.
A great place to get a drink or two with friends. At night they often have live music on the terrace if the weather is good. Its one of the few bars you can go to in Fez.
Some food on the chart wasnt available
Nice setting across from the old New Citys gardens, with a great tapas menu and solid drink selection.
Best place for local wine and beer in the medina
Great view over the park. Good selection of foods and drinks
Yes a trendy spot especially for tourist. Nice small rooftop terrace but thats all. Very slow service and not at all impressed by the quality of the food. A typical place for lonely planet people to visit
Nice plane for warm summer evenings!Food is good and cheap...
Great food. .drinks and cocktails. .friendly staff. .lovely terrace!
