Service is great. Food was OK.Very good vibe and a great cocktail list. Waitress was very chirpy and explained the menu from the get go which was very helpful.

We went there for a quick lunch. Their service is quite good. They can guide you to place your order. This is extremely helpful, when you are visiting and not familiar with the dishes.We shared the food, and I found almost all the dishes were very good.

This place is a hidden Jewel. Literally one of the best places in town especially if you like Greek food. But as good as food and services the real star is Jen. Not only good at her job but is literally an ambassador for the restaurant because she makes the whole dining experience exceptional

Reasons to love this place: the homemade hot sauce, family of cute sparrows that seem to have made it home, the feta cheese, great lengths that staff go to try to make you comfortable and accommodate requests, sports on tv (soccer!), spaciousness, generous portions, outdoor seating

Our order consisted of moussaka, a gyro plate, and a fancy lemonade concoction. It was all top notch. If you want to treat someone to a palate-tickling lunch downtown, Meze is highly recommended!

Dinner here was top notch. Our server Adrianna was spot on with everything. She made sure we ordered from happy hour menu till that ended at 6p. She then explained the menu being split into meals and small plates. She made sure we had everything we needed. She did not rush things. She gave very honest suggestions. Gyros was fantastic! The octopus was grilled perfectly, not rubbery. Again service was the BEST! Ty for making our meal on vacation a great one!

honestly, if you like mediocre food you’ll probably love this spot. Greek salad wasn’t even that good. Asparagus salad, would skip. Hummus, rather have store bought. Octopus was over cooked. Gyro varied but the table enjoyed the chicken souvlaki.I hope you enjoy but we did not.

One thing I find absurd about this place is they charge credit card transaction fee. Doesnt matter you have $50 check or $100. I feel I would have added more tip to the server if the establishment wouldnt have charged the transaction fee. Have been in California for 7 years and never have came across any restaurant of this scale acting so cheap.Food is good and ambience is good as well.

My first time here in August 2022 and I am officially in love with this restaurant! Our waiter Kort was amazing- very friendly, expertly walked us through the menu, and made killer food recommendations. We did tapas style and tried the meatballs, lemon potatoes, saganaki, and gyros, and everything was delicious- we had a hard time picking a favorite! And we tried the Greek doughnut for dessert and it was light and delicious, a perfect way to end a meal. We had an amazing dining experience here and will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great food and interesting selection of Greek inspired dishes. The atmosphere is wonderful in this restaurant. Night time ambience is especially well done here. The food was delicious and service was good. Greek fusion dishes are easy for anyone to appreciate.

We just got back from an amazing dining experience at Meze Greek Fusion. The food was delicious (we tried several appetizers and loved all - especially the spanikopita and feta fries), and the atmosphere was trendy with cool lighting. But what set this restaurant apart was the special attention that our waiter, Josue, gave to our family.First of all, my older daughter has food allergies and Josue went back to the kitchen several times to check to see if she could have different dishes. Then when my daughter said she had never tried lamb before, Josue brought her out a lamb taco to try. And finally, Josue asked us if we celebrating anything special. We told him that we were dropping our younger daughter off at college, and Josue brought out a sparkler, piece of baklava and a dish of strawberries with honey (for my older daughter who has the allergies). This has never happened to us before and it really made our first night in San Diego so special. I highly recommend this restaurant for its food, decor, and amazing service!

Is it possible to leave no stars? We went there today for our anniversary for lunch, it was not busy at 1pm. We were served by the owner, who did not know what cut of meat was used for the chicken skewers. We then waited for 35 minutes to order with empty drinks. We ended up asking the hostess if we could order, after waiting 10 more minutes we asked for the check and left. Very disappointing, especially as we had been looking forward to trying this restaurant. If the food is anything like the service, I would suggest choosing one of the many other options in the area.

Food was delicious. But portions are small. Also service was unorganized and sometimes chaotic.

Stayed in San Diego for 5 days and always was coming here for lunch. Great soups, salads and Greek lemonade. Place is also good - once I had a decent lunch with a soup and half a Greek salad for $15 and felt full. My favourite place in Downtown!

I started ordering at Mesa Greek Fusion during the pandemic delivery epidemic. so to speak. The food is delicious! Their hummus is some of the best Ive had since Greece /Turkey... We went in during San Diego Comic Con and it was definitely one of the better dining experiences that my group and I had during the packed convention. The food was great, the servers were fantastic, and the environment was a great reprieve from the chaos of the con.My group and I got appetizers (flaming cheese), sangria we all enjoyed, and entrees we loved.

Came here before a concert. This is a very convenient location that is closed to the stadium (walking distance). There are a lot of parking structures around the area as well.Our server is very attentive, friendly, and has a great sense of humor. Salute!We ordered humus and egg plant as appetizers. Humus had nothing special, but I like the flavor of the egg plant. It was perfect with the flat bread. I ordered watermelon feta salad with gyro ($12 + $6). The salad comes with watermelon, veggie, goat cheese, olive, and walnuts. The salad dressing is made with strawberry and it was leaning towards the sweet side. I like how it tasted. The salad plate was filling, especially with some protein with it.I will come back again for sure.

Service was no doubt great. They were very thoughtful for our needs - giving more bread for the kid, filling us new drink when it was spilled, and turning heater on when it got cold. Food was really good too, I love their falafel and all kinds of Greek sauce. Seafood was fresh. My family had a great time there. Love the vibe sitting outside!

Great Greek food 🙌👍Our family of 4 shared 3 Meze and 2 entrées, and we loved it. As we have visited Greece ourselves multiple times and love the food, we can confirm the restaurants dishes are spot on. You should try the Spanakopita, my favourite hot meze.Fyi- I forgot to take picture at right time, in attached picture, the Spanakopita was already cut into 4 portions when I took the picture. Most of time, I take multiple pictures, but tonight we enjoyed ourselves so much I forgot to take pictures of other plates...😁Minor remark; we were here on a Saturday evening, and it was a bit too loud at times, to allow an easy conversation, but also related to the extatic table of ladies next to us.Definitely recommend

Centrally-located within the citys touristy Gaslamp district, this Mediterranean-style food is absolutely yummy. The portions are large. Happy hour has decent prices on drinks. Parking is hard to find.

Decent Greek food, good service, great wine selection. A little loud inside, but overall great.

Suchhhh good food! Was seated at the bar and everyone was nice , fun and friendly. The food was a little overpriced but you’re also expected to tip of course . The interior decor was super pretty too .

The lamb chops were amazing! Even better was the lemon sauce that they were dressed in. I loved it so much I asked for a side of pita so I could sop it all up. Left a clean white plate. Prices are in-line with the area, which is high so you have to expect it, but the staff was excellent and food was delicious. I would recommend it if you are feeling Greek.

Stopped in for a snack of babaganoush, dolmas, and humus. Excellent! Hoping to return for some of the salads. Tasty, healthy eating and friendly staff.

Exceptional food. Loved the ambiance. Service was just okay. Ordered an additional appetizer of their cilantro jalapeno hummus (highly recommend), a long while later, they came to our table with tomatoe basil hummus instead. We explained we wanted / ordered the cilantro jalapeno not the tomatoe basil so the guy took it back and cancelled it rather than getting us the one we wanted. Round and round we went with ordering, waiting, waiting and waiting even longer. It was a bit frustrating BUT, overall good place. Had that not happened and they were quicker at replacing items they messed up on, I would have given them a 5.

Food was delicious! Giving 4 stars because my burger was a lil raw in the middle. Didn’t notice it until I had already taken a bite 🤢Otherwise atmosphere was fantastic and what we ordered was wonderful. I didn’t get sick from the raw burger meat so that’s a win in my book.

Simply incredible. I have never experienced better serve in the last 28 years of my life. Our server was top notch! He got all the orders perfect and always had a great presence about him! He noticed I spilled food on my shirt and instantly asked if I could use some club soda! He was so freindly! The food was top notch too! Overall amazing experience!

Don’t go if you’re hungry. It took 2 hours to get our food with 8 people - around us everyone came and went, some tables even multiple times. When ordering we were told the ‘group’ menu would be easier for us. We then had to repeatedly ask for more than 1 small plate with pita bread. Food itself was average. Server did not apologize, stopped coming by our table entirely when food was taking too long (despite noticing and gesturing to coworkers about our foodand eventually gave themselves the maximum gratuity for ‘excellent service’ as listed on the receipt.

Fancy spot with some very tasty food. Recommend the lamb shank (if they have itand the hummus appetizer. The best part of the gimlet was the block of cheese, the drink itself wasnt great tasting (may just be me). When I have more money Id like to come back and try their fancier dishes.

Maybe my expectations were set too high with all the 4.5 stars. But the food was okay, but the service was lacking. We were still eating out appetizers and they brought our entrees out. We did complain to the person that brought it out and she just ignored us and walked away. I could understand if they were looking to move the table but it was 3 in the afternoon and the place was half empty. Btw my wife was not impressed with her seafood dish..my chicken was okay

This place was amazing! I went there twice during my visit to San Diego in February of 2022. Once with a colleague & another time with friends. All was delicious & perfect... The flaming shrimp was the 💣, the dolmas were to die for & the desserts = insane!See you again next year during Social Media Marketing World 2023!

The calamari was delicious (especially with their hot sauceand the lamb tacos were good too. Very friendly servers, and nice outside and inside dining areas.

Amazing food. Great service. Drinks were solid. One thing that rubbed me the wrong way, they will charge an extra 4% for credit or debit cards. Would be chill if it was a dividing to pay with cash. But not chill to charge extra for debit/credit use in USA. Not normal, not cool. Might come back for the food.

I call it world class restaurant because of not only yummiest food selections with outstanding service but enjoying all these under the mesmerizing ambience. Its a jewel in the downtown San Diego. They do have best chef for the Greek cuisine as well as top wine selections.Also, worth noting that it is a kid friendly restaurant with lots of options for them.Parking is street side or garage nearby. Restroom is on site.Note- ask for cozy corner side with covered area if party with 10-12 people.

The service was great. The hot appetizers were great too. Had we stopped there, this would be 5*. However we didnt stop, we also had 2 entrees. Neither was good enough to warrant a return trip. Well be back, but will probably just do a bunch of apps.

Always a solid choice. I’ve dined here several times and have always enjoyed the experience and the food. The Meze burger was overwhelming and so tasty. There are so many great looking menu options I’ll be going back for more.

Pretty okay, but nowhere I would return to. The meatball and the fiery feta appetizers were tasty. The cocktails were also pretty good. Unfortunately every piece of meat in the combo souvlaki was dry and bland, which is disappointing for an expensive dish. It was very busy but no one ever came to clear finished plates, making it awkward to eat around the empty appetizer plates on a small table.
